IJ-15K Modem to Adapter PCB Conversion Instructions
Required Tools:
T10 Torque Screwdriver T20 Torque Screwdriver #1 Phillips Screwdriver
1. Power off the IJ-15K base
2. Open the Top Cover

3. Remove the Top Cover (4 screws using a T10 Torque screwdriver)
4. Remove the Right Side Cover (2 screws in the rear using a T20 Torque screwdriver)
5. Remove the Right Side Plate (3 screws (2-rear/1-side) using a T20 Torque screwdriver)
6. Unplug the Modem PCB

7. Remove the Modem PCB (2 screws using a #1 Phillips screwdriver)
8. Install the new Adapter PCB (2 screws from the previous step using a #1 Phillips
screwdriver)
9. Plugin the new Adapter PCB
10. Install the Right Side Plate (3 screws (2-rear/1-side) using a T20 Torque screwdriver)

11. Install the Right Side Cover (2 screws in the rear using a T20 Torque screwdriver)
12. Install the Top Cover (3 screws using a T10 Torque screwdriver)
13. Close the Top Cover

Overview
Description
The Connect Box from Quadient provides our customers with expanded connection, communication, and security
options when configuring a Quadient Mailing System on their network. The Connect Box provides the ability to use
Wi-Fi to connect the IJ-15K to the customer’s network, as well as the ability to utilize TLS 1.2 encryption and
securing of data.
Upon connecting the Connect Box to the customer’s Wi-Fi network and properly configuring the Mailing System,
any communication originating from the Mailing System will use the Connect Box to transmit data over the
customer’s Wi-Fi network.
Configuring the Connect Box
1Make a wireless connection to the Connect box
xPower up the Connect box using the power supply
xSSID format : A0124519XAASS1111
xClick connect to gain access
xSSID Wireless default password => Nconnect
2 Log in to the Connect Box
Open a Web Browser and enter https://192.168.123.1 press enter
Login: admin & Password: admin
