OEM TAIL BRACKET REMOVAL:
To fit the R&G tail tidy, the original licence plate bracket must be removed.
Begin by removing the seat using the ignition key, then remove the 4x T40 bolts securing the rack
and pillion grab rails, as shown in picture 1.
Remove the plastic tail cover as shown in picture 2, then disconnect both original indicator
connections (wiring with the green and red bands) as shown in picture 3. Using a small screwdriver
to gently push on the connector securing tabs may help to disconnect them.
Remove the 4x T30 bolts securing the OEM license plate bracket as shown in picture 4, then gently
lower and remove the bracket by carefully sliding the indicator wiring through the rubber grommet.
Care must be taken not to force/bend the OEM indicator wiring, as fragile PCB’s are located within
the insulation.
IF FITTING OEM INDICATORS:
If re-fitting the original indicators, remove the 2x T20 bolts securing the wiring cover on the OEM
bracket to expose the securing nuts as shown in pictures 5, 6 and 7. Now remove the nuts with a
13mm spanner and gently slide the indicator away.
Offer the original indicators up to the new R&G tail bracket (item 1) as shown in picture 8, pushing
the locating pins through the smaller hole and securing the original nuts with a 13mm spanner.
IF FITTING R&G MINI/AFTERMARKET INDICATORS:
For correct operation of R&G mini indicators (R&G mini indicator product code RG371 for LED type,
or RG372 for Aero Style LED type), resistors to control the indicator flash rate must be fitted
(available separately, product code RGR0003).
To fit the resistors, first fit a wiring connector (item 8) to each of the indicator connections, then
mate the relevant bullet connectors to those on the resistors, as shown in picture 9. The resistor
female bullet connectors will mate to the new indicator male bullet connectors once the R&G
bracket is mounted.
Offer the mini indicators up to the new R&G tail bracket (item 1) as shown in picture 10, securing
to the bracket with the new flanged nut, using a 13mm spanner. The small holes used for locating
the OEM indicators can be blanked off using the included rubber bungs (item 5), as arrowed to in
picture 10.
To neaten the wiring, slide one indicator wiring cover (item 7) over the bullet connectors for each
indicator and slide up until the flanged nut is covered, as shown in picture 11. A small amount of
lubricant or soap may help when pushing the wires through the indicator wiring cover. A length of
heatshrink (item 6) can then be slid over the indicator wiring, heating with a heat gun or similar
until the wires are neatly wrapped.

R&G TAIL TIDY ASSEMBLY FITMENT:
Referring to the diagram on page 2 for orientation, push the necked end of the included spacers
(item 2) through each of the 4x mounting holes on the R&G tail bracket, as shown in picture 12.
The spacers should stay in place using a small amount of force, but if they are found to be slightly
loose, then a small amount of superglue can be used to keep the spacers in place when mounting
the bracket.
Neatly tidy and secure the wiring to the bracket depending on your indicator choice using the self-
adhesive cable clips (item 10) and cable ties (item 9).
Offer the tail tidy assembly up the bike, first sliding the indicator wiring back through the rubber
grommet as shown in picture 13. If using R&G mini indicators, now connect the indicator wiring to
the resistor bullet connectors. If using the OEM indicators, reconnect the wiring as original.
Slide a washer (item 4) over each of the included 4x M6 button-head bolts (item 3), then fit
through the tail tidy mounting holes as shown in picture 14 and secure using a 4mm Allen key.
Test operation of all lights.
Refit the seat, plastic wiring cover panel, rack and grab rails as original.
Mount the licence plate (it may require drilling) to the bracket in a central position.
Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector (item 11) in an appropriate location.

and suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable
skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for
ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any defective Products
R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have
been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good
engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting
its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability
shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if
they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods
must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25%
of the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges.
No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does
not refer to faulty goods.

DEMONTAGE DE SUPPORT DE PLAQUE D’ORIGINE :
Pour installer le support R&G, le support de plaque d'immatriculation d'origine doit être
retiré.
Commencez par retirer le siège à l’aide de la clé de contact, puis retirez les 4 boulons T40 fixant les
barres de maintien du siège passager et du support, comme sur la photo 1.
Enlevez le cache support arrière en plastique comme indiqué sur la photo 2, puis débranchez les
deux connexions du clignotant d'origine (câblage avec les bandes verte et rouge) comme indiqué
sur la photo 3. L'utilisation d'un petit tournevis pour appuyer doucement sur les languettes de
fixation du connecteur peut aider à les déconnecter.
Retirez les 4 boulons de fixation du support de plaque d'immatriculation d’origine, comme indiqué
sur la photo 4, puis abaissez doucement et retirez le support en faisant glisser délicatement le
câblage de clignotant à travers la bague en caoutchouc. Il faut prendre soin de ne pas forcer / plier
le câblage de clignotant d’origine, car des circuits imprimés fragiles sont situés dans l'isolant.
SI VOUS UTILISEZ LES CLIGNOTANTS D’ORIGINE :
Si vous remontez les clignotants d'origine, retirez les 2 boulons T20 fixant le couvercle de câblage
sur le support d’origine pour exposer les écrous de fixation comme indiqué sur les photos 5, 6 et 7.
Retirez maintenant les écrous avec une clé de 13 mm et faites glisser doucement le clignotant.
Présentez les clignotants d'origine sur le nouveau support de plaque R&G (article 1), comme illustré
sur la photo 8, en poussant les goupilles de positionnement à travers le plus petit trou et en fixant
les écrous d'origine avec une clé de 13 mm.

SI VOUS UTILISEZ DES MINI CLIGNOTANTS R&G /AUTRES CLIGNOTANTS :
Pour que les mini-clignotants R&G fonctionnent correctement (code produit des clignotants R&G
RG371 type LED ou RG372 pour type LED latérale), des résistances doivent être installées pour
contrôler le taux d’éclairage du feu (disponible séparément, code de produit RGR0003).
Pour monter les résistances, commencez par brancher un connecteur de câblage (élément 8) sur
chacune des connexions de clignotant, puis associez les connecteurs correspondant à ceux des
résistances, comme indiqué sur la photo 9. Les connecteurs femelles de la résistance se
raccorderont aux nouveaux connecteurs mâles de clignotants une fois que le support R&G sera
monté.
Offrez les mini-clignotants sur le nouveau support R&G (article 1), comme indiqué sur la photo 10,
en les fixant au support avec le nouvel écrou à collerette, à l'aide d'une clé plate de 13 mm. Les
petits trous utilisés pour placer les clignotants d’origine peuvent être obturés à l’aide des bouchons
en caoutchouc fournis (article 5), comme indiqué sur la photo 10.
Pour ranger le câblage, faites glisser un couvercle de câblage de clignotant (élément 7) sur les
connecteurs de chaque clignotant et faites-le glisser jusqu'à ce que l'écrou à collerette soit
recouvert, comme illustré sur la photo 11. Une petite quantité de lubrifiant ou de savon peut aider
à faire passer les câbles à travers le couvercle de câblage de clignotant. Une longueur manchon
thermo rétractable (élément 6) peut ensuite être glissée sur le câblage de clignotant, en chauffant
à l'aide d'un pistolet thermique ou similaire, jusqu'à ce que les fils soient soigneusement
enveloppés.

Montage du support de plaque R&G:
En vous référant au schéma de la page 2 pour obtenir une orientation, poussez l'extrémité
recourbée des entretoises fournies (article 2) dans chacun des 4 trous de montage du support R&G,
comme indiqué sur la photo 12. Les entretoises doivent rester en place en forçant un peu, mais si
elles sont légèrement lâches, vous pouvez utiliser une petite quantité de colle pour maintenir les
entretoises en place lors du montage du support.
Ranger soigneusement et fixer le câblage au support en fonction du choix de votre clignotant en
utilisant les colliers de serrage autocollants (article 10) et les colliers de câblage (article 9).
Offrez le support de plaque sur la moto, en faisant d'abord glisser le câblage de clignotant dans
l'œillet en caoutchouc, comme illustré sur la photo 13. Si vous utilisez des mini-clignotants R&G,
connectez maintenant le câblage de clignotant aux connecteurs de la résistance. Si vous utilisez les
clignotants d’origine, reconnectez le câblage comme à l’origine.
Faites glisser une rondelle (article 4) sur chacun des 4 boulons à tête ronde M6 fournis (article 3),
puis insérez-la dans les trous de montage du support arrière, comme indiqué sur la photo 14 et
fixez-la à l'aide d'une clé Allen de 4 mm.
Testez le fonctionnement de tous les feux.
Remettez en place le siège, le panneau de recouvrement de câblage en plastique, le support et les
barres d'appui.
Montez la plaque d'immatriculation (cela peut nécessiter un perçage) sur le support en position
centrale.
Selon les lois locales, fixez le réflecteur fourni (article 11) à un endroit approprié.

ENTFERNUNG DES ORIGINALKENNZEICHENHALTERS:
Um den R&G Kennzeichenhalter montieren zu können, muss der
Originalkennzeichenhalter entfernt werden.
Entfernen Sie zuerst den Sitz (Zündschlüssel wird hierfür benötigt), dann entfernen Sie die 4x T40
Schrauben, die die Haltegriffe befestigen –siehe Abbildung 1.
Entfernen Sie die Heckverkleidung wie in Abbildung 2 abgebildet, dann trennen Sie beide
Originalblinker-Verbindungen (Kabel mit den grünen und roten Bändern) wie in Abbildung 3
abgebildet. Die Benutzung eines kleinen Schraubenziehers, um die Befestigungslaschen an den
Verbindungen leicht anzuschieben wird helfen, diese zu trennen.
Entfernen Sie die 4x T30 Schrauben, die den Originalkennzeichenhalter befestigen –siehe Abbildung 4
–dann den Kennzeichenhalter vorsichtig nach unten herunterlassen und entfernen, indem Sie die
Kabel vorsichtig durch die Gummitülle schieben. Achten Sie darauf, die Kabel der Originalblinker nicht
zu biegen oder mit zu viel Kraft zu schieben, da empfindliche Teile innerhalb der Isolierung vorhanden
sind.
WENN SIE DIE ORIGINALBLINKER MONTIEREN:
Wenn Sie die Originalblinker wiederverwenden, entfernen Sie die 2x T20 Schrauben, die die
Kabelabdeckung am Originalkennzeichenhalter befestigen, um die Befestigungsmuttern, die in den
Abbildungen 5, 6 und 7 abgebildet sind, freizulegen. Dann entfernen Sie die Muttern mit einem
13mm Schraubenschlüssel und den Blinker vorsichtig wegschieben.
Die Originalblinker am neuen Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1) anbringen wie in Abbildung 8
abgebildet. Die Fixierstifte durch die kleinere Öffnung drücken und die Originalmutter mit einem
13mm Schraubenschlüssel befestigen.
WENN SIE DIE R&G MINIBLINKER /MINIBLINKER AUS DEM ZUBEHÖRMARKT MONTIEREN:
Um die ordnungsgemäße Funktion der R&G Miniblinker (R&G Miniblinker Artikel-Nr. RG371 für LED
oder RG372 für Aero Style LED) sowie die richtige Blitzgeschwindigkeit zu ermöglichen, müssen
Widerstände montiert werden (separat erhältlich, Artikel-Nr. RGR0003).
Um diese zu montieren, zuerst je eine Verbindung (Artikel 8) an jeder Blinker-Kabelverbindung
anbringen und die entsprechende Verbindungen mit den Verbindungen an den Widerständen
verbinden –siehe Abbildung 9. Die weiblichen Verbindungen passen zusammen mit den neuen
männlichen Verbindungen der Blinker, sobald der R&G Kennzeichenhalter montiert ist.
Die Miniblinker am neuen R&G Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1) anbringen wie in Abbildung 10
abgebildet. Den Kennzeichenhalter mit der neuen Flanschmutter befestigen (benutzen Sie einen
13mm Schraubenschlüssel). Die kleinen Öffnungen, die für die Originalblinker verwendet werden,
können mit den mitgelieferten Gummitüllen (Artikel 5) verschlossen werden –siehe Abbildung 10.
Um die Kabel ordentlich zu verstauen, schieben Sie eine Kabelabdeckung (Artikel 7) über die
Kabelverbindungen an jedem Blinker, sodass die Flanschmutter bedeck ist –siehe Abbildung 11.
Etwas Schmiermittel oder Spülmittel kann helfen, die Kabel durch die Abdeckung zu schieben.
Eine Länge Schrumpfschlauch (Artikel 6) an jedem Blinkerkabel anbringen und mit einer
Heißluftpistole oder Ähnliches erwärmen, bis die Kabel ordentlich eingewickelt sind.

R&G KENNZEICHENHALTER –MONTAGE:
Mit der Zeichnung auf Seite 2 als Referenz, schieben Sie das halsförmige Ende der mitgelieferten
Distanzhalter (Artikel 2) durch jede der 4 Montageöffnungen am R&G Kennzeichenhalter wie in
Abbildung 12 abgebildet. Mit etwas Druck sollten die Distanzhalter in Position bleiben, aber falls sie
ein wenig lose sind, kann eine kleine Menge Sekundenkleber die Distanzhalter während der
Montage des Kennzeichenhalters in Position halten.
Abhängig von der Wahl der Blinker, die Kabel ordentlich mit den selbstklebenden Kabelclips (Artikel
10) und Kabelbindern (Artikel 9) sichern.
Den Kennzeichenhalter ans Motorrad ansetzen. Schieben Sie zuerst die Kabel durch die Gummitülle
wieder wie in Abbildung 13 abgebildet. Wenn Sie R&G Miniblinker benutzen, verbinden Sie jetzt die
Kabel für die Blinker mit den Verbindungen der Widerstände. Wenn Sie die Originalblinker
benutzen, verbinden Sie die Kabel wie ursprünglich wieder.
Schieben Sie jeweils eine Unterlegscheibe (Artikel 4) über jede 4x M6 Inbusschraube (Artikel 3),
diese dann in die Montageöffnungen am Kennzeichenhalter einsetzen und mit einem 4mm
Inbusschlüssel befestigen –siehe Abbildung 14.
Überprüfen Sie die Funktion der kompletten Beleuchtung.
Montieren Sie den Sitz, die Kabelabdeckung und die Haltegriffe wie ursprünglich wieder.
Montieren Sie das amtliche Kennzeichen (Bohrungen im Kennzeichen evtl. notwendig) mittig am
Kennzeichenhalter
Entsprechend der gesetzlichen Vorschriften, den mitgelieferten Rückstrahler (Artikel 11) an die
dafür vorgesehene Stelle anbringen.
