ReChargX™ RX052 Instructions
For use in the Xerox 113R00095, the DEC LN17XAA, the
Lexmark 63H2401 and the NEC 20110 toner cartridges
This is the toner cartridge used in the Xerox
Docuprint 4317, Docuprint 4517, Docuprint
4517 MP, Docuprint N 17, Docuprint N 17 B,
theIBM4317NetworkPrinter,NetworkPrinter
17,NP17andothermachinesusingthesame
underlyingengine.
These cartridges are quite easy to rell using
our ReChargX™ RX052 Premium Print Toner
RellKit.
Step 1: Locate the Toner Hopper
Withthetonercartridgeinthesameorientationas
itwouldbeifitweretobeinstalledintheprinter.
Thetonerhopperplugcanbefoundalongtheright
sideofthetonercartridge(gure1).
Step 2: Orient the Toner Cartridge
Lifttherightsideofthetonercartridgesothat
thelargeplasticplugcanbeseen(gure2).
Step 3: Remove the Toner Hopper Plug
Using a needle-nosed pliers, pull up on
thecrosssectionontheinsideoftheplug
(gure3).

Step 4: Add ReChargx™ RX052 Premium
Print Toner to the Toner Hopper
Now we will ll the toner hopper with the
ReChargX™RX052PremiumPrintToner.
Toensurethetonerowsfreelyfromthebottle
duringlling,makecertainthecapisscrewed
tightly on the bottle, then gently rock-shake
thebottletofreeupthetonerthatmayhave
settledduringshipping.
Next,removethe originalcap from the bottle
andreplaceitwiththeplasticdispenserspout
fromtheReChargX™RX052TonerRellKit.
Tomaketheaddingofthetonertothetoner
hopperaseasyanddustfreeaspossible,tilt
theendofthecartridgewiththeholeinitup
at a 45 degree angle and slowly angle the
dispenserspoutonthebottleoftonertomeet
upwiththehole,asshowningure3.
Tiltingthebottleupalittlemorewillstartthe
tonerowingintothetonerhopper(gure4).
NOTE:Ifatanypointthetonerstopsowing,
simply stand the bottle upright to loosen the
tonerandstartthepouringprocessoveragain
(resist temptation to squeeze the bottle as it
willmakeaspillormessmorelikely.
Fillthehopperuntilitappearstobefulloruntil
itappearstonernolongerowseasilyintothe
hopper(anytonerleftinthebottlecaneasily
beadded in the future afteryouhavedone a
considerableamountofprinting).

Step 5: Clean the Area Around the Toner
Hopper Hole Before Sealing
Unfold the yellow/orange “toner grabber”
cloth from the ReChargX™ RX052 Premium
PrintTonerRellKitandstretchitalongboth
dimensions(itwillstretchconsiderablyinone
dimensionandnottheother)
Stretching the yellow/orange toner grabber
cloth activates the toner retaining substance
thatisembeddedwithinthecloth.
NOTE:Onlyusethetonergrabberclothonthe
exteriorofthetonercartridgearoundthetoner
hopperholearea.Donotusetheclothtoclean
anyoftheinternalcomponentsorthecartridge
imagingdrum.
Step 6: Seal the Toner Hopper
Reinstalltheplasticplugthatwasusedtoseal
thetonerhopper.Pushdownonthepluguntil
itsnapsinto place andisushwith the toner
cartridge.
