INSTALLING THE SINK
Step 1: Determine the ideal location of your new
fireclay kitchen sink.
Measure and cut the cabinet to fit the
kitchen sink.
See Figure 1.

Step 2: Cut 2 pieces of 2x4 beams to attach to
the inside of the cabinet.
Note: It is highly recommended to
secure each 2x4 beam with wood glue
and screws.
See Figure 2.

NOTE: To Install flush, mea-
sure the desired height of the
sink and cut the cabinet front
accordingly.

Step 3: Follow the directions on the back of
the wood glue and allow enough time
for it to dry.
Fasten each 2x4 beam with wood
screws.
See Figure 3.

Step 4: This step is optional.
Cut and fit a 3/4” thick plywood board
that sits on top of the beams.
This step is to ensure the bottom of
the sink has enough support.
Cut the area for the faucet lines and
drain / garbage disposal installation.
Secure the plywood board with wood
screws to the beams.
Verify the board is level.
See Figure 4.

Step 5: Place the sink over the plywood.
Verify the overall appearance and
check for levelness.
See Figure 5.

Step 6: Place the countertop over the cabinets
and kitchen sink.
Verify the countertop is level.

Step 1: Clean the surface of the cabinet and
sink with a damp cloth.
INSTALL THE VANITY TOP
Step 2: Verify the sink is installed properly.
Step 3: Apply a thin bead of silicone to the
surface of the cabinet and sink.
Carefully place the countertop on the
cabinets.
Clean o any excess silicone
immediately.
Verify the countertop is level.
See Figure 7.
Step 4: Follow the directions on the silicone
tube to allow for ample drying time.
Refrain from moving/using the vanity
during this time.
Step 5: Install the faucet and drain per
manufacturers instructions.

General Care Tips
PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• We recommend using a soft sponge or cloth and a mild abrasive.
• To avoid water spotting, wipe down the sink bottom after use. Waxing the sink will
encourage drainage.
• Fireclay sinks from Ronbow are constructed with a durable glaze for years of beautiful
performance. On the occasion that a metal pot or pan may leave a mark on the surface
of the sink, we recommend a mild abrasive cleaner is acceptable.
• Test cleaning product on small, discrete area prior to applying to entire surface.
• Wipe surfaces frequently with dry, soft, non-abrasive and lint-free towel.
• Do not allow liquids and moisture to accumulate on the surface of products.
