1 Product Introduction
1.1 Overview
The RG-AP680P-L is a Wi-Fi 6, dual-radio, enhanced, and industrial wireless access point
(AP) provided by Ruijie Networks for higher education, wireless city, energy, business mall,
and other scenarios.
The RG-AP680P-L supports the 802.11ax, 802.11ac Wave2, 802.11ac Wave1, and 802.11n
protocols. With hardware-independent quad-band design, the AP can provide up to 5.951
Gbps access rate. The ultra-fast wireless network makes performance no longer a bottleneck.
Important factors such as the wireless network security, radio control, mobile access, Quality
of Service (QoS), seamless roaming, and expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) module are
fully taken into account for this product. Therefore, thisAP can be used in combination with
Ruijie Access Controllers (ACs) and WIS to implement STA data forwarding, security, access
control, and IoT application extension.
Thanks to its IP68 rated housing, the RG-AP680P-L is suitable for use in extreme industrial
environments and capable of effectively withstanding harsh weather and environments. It is
highly adaptable to colder and wet climates, allowing for easier installation and maintenance.
The RG-AP680P-L supports power over Ethernet (PoE) and built-in omnidirectional antennas
to meet Wi-Fi network coverage and networking requirements in most environments.
