Fullrim Groove Glazing | 20 Years TMA
Frame is designed with a 5.0 base curve
Recommended lenses are High Index 1.6, 1.67,
Polycarbonate and Trivex
Other base curves will work and should have
groove profile to match 5.0 base curve for best
lens retention

Temple Mounting | 20 Years TMA
For temple mounting use gray or purple plier tip
with BLS 53 sleeve
Temple is attached to frame “shield” and is
mounted using the same procedure as a rimless
prescription lens
Use gentle pressure when compressing temple into
sleeve

Mounting Lens | 20 Years TMA
Lenses must be cut on size
Always place the lens into the frame from the
back. Start at the curve with the smallest
radius
Work around lens and insert nasal curve last
Do not heat the frame!!

Push the frame backward off the lens starting
at the top center
Do not heat the frame!

Inclination | 20 Years TMA
2. Bend the temple in the
required direction
1. Support temple and frame firmly
with mounting pliers to prevent
stress on temple mounting

Temple opening | 20 Years TMA
Hold lens fixation firmly with your fingers
and use the Blue multi-tool on the outside
of the temple to enlarge the temple
opening

Temple closing | 20 Years TMA
Hold lens fixation firmly with your fingers
and use the Blue multi-tool on the inner
temple to reduce the temple opening

Pull off temple end

1. Shorten titanium wire with metal-diagonal cutter
2. File down sharp edges and burrs.

Squeeze titanium wire with round pliers at the very end
to ensure the stability of the temple end.

Adjusting temple end | 20 Years TMA
Adjust the temple to the ear shape with large
curves.
During temple-end adjusting do not put pressure
on the temple tip.
