Glazing | Momentum

Inclination | Momentum
2. Holding endpiece at the
hinge, bend the endpiece in
the required direction to
achieve proper inclination.
1. Support lens mounting with mounting
pliers. This will prevent stress on the
lens mounting.

Temple opening | Momentum
1. Support lens mounting with mounting pliers.
2. Apply pressure on hinge area with your thumb from
inside.

Temple closing | Momentum
1. Support lens mounting with mounting pliers.
2. Apply pressure at hinge area from the outside

Temple removal | Momentum
1. Use Silhouette demounting tool
from below to partially remove the
pin from the pin-cision hinge.
2. Remove the pin with tweezer or
pliers.
3. Carefully remove the inner plastic
part with a 1mm drill by carefully
rotating the drill by hand.
4. Always start from the bottom up.

Temple mounting | Momentum
1. Partially insert the plastic sleeve
into the temple from the top
2. Bring the temple and the hinge
together and align holes. Gently
press the sleeve through with
double padded flat pliers

1. Use tweezers or pliers to partially
insert the titan pin into the sleeve
from above.
2. Press the pin into the hinge with
double padded flat pliers

Temple shortening glued temple I Momentum
1. Gently squeeze the forward part of the
temple cover with a plastic tip plier to
break the glue bond
2. Carefully pull off the temple cover.
3. Shorten titanium wire with
metal-diagonal cutter.
4. File down sharp edges and burrs.

5. Remove remaining glue. 6. Cut plastic temple cover to desired
length with sharp blade to match the
original angle

Temple end gluing I Momentum
1. Test fit the temple cover on the shortened temple tip.
2. Apply a small amount of glue ( e.g. Loctite 406) on the inside of the
titanium wire.
3. Slide the temple cover back onto the titanium wire and wipe off excess
glue.

Adjusting temple end | Momentum
1. Adjust the temple to the ear shape with large curves.
2. During temple end adjusting, do not put pressure on
the temple tip.

Additional Information | Momentum
Clean frame with ultrasonic bath for a maximum of
3 minutes per operation or with ethanol/ethyl
alcohol. These methods will not damage the frame.
Avoid high temperatures like the car dashboard or
saunas.
Always store your frame in the supplied case.
DO NOT USE TEFLON OR LUBRICANT AT THE HINGE
