INTRODUCTION
1. Before using your new dehumidifier, please carefully read
through the following instructions. Keep this booklet in a
safe place for future reference.
2. After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance
is in good condition.
3. Do not allow children to play with the packaging materials
as there is risk of suffocation.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
For your safety, please read the following instructions care-
fully before using this dehumidifier:
1. Install this dehumidifier in a smooth surface to reduce vibration
and noise.
2. In order to prevent accidents, please do not use this dehumidi-
fier if the wires or other connections are damaged.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
4. Children shall not play with the appliance.
5. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
6. When the dehumidifier is not on, it is being reset or cleaned,
please unplug it from the socket.
7. Operate the appliance only at the voltage specified on the rating
label.
8. Use the appliance only in the household and only for the pur-
pose it was developed for.
9. Please do not place heavy objects on the dehumidifier.

10. Please empty the water tank to prevent overflow and leakage
before restarting the dehumidifier.
11. Please do not put the appliance in an inclined surface in order
to prevent damages from leakage in the dehumidifier.
12. Never insert any other object into the unit body to avoid any
hazard or unit failure.
13. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a quali-
fied person in a SINGER service center in order to avoid a
hazard.
14. If the dehumidifier is not used for a long time, please unplug
the cord from the power socket.
15. Power supply of the dehumidifier shall comply with the safety
regulations where it is used and ensure reliable grounding.
16. Please do not place this dehumidifier close to heating appli-
ances (flame or heaters, etc.).
17. Please do not turn off this dehumidifier by pulling out the plug.
18. Do not use insecticide spray or other flammable substances in
the vicinity of the dehumidifier.
19. Do not scratch the surface of the dehumidifier with sharp ob-
jects.
20. Do not splash oil or water into the dehumidifier.
21. Do not clean this dehumidifier with water. Instead please wipe
it with a sub humid soft cloth.
22. Do not wipe this dehumidifier with chemical solvents such as
benzene, gasoline and alcohol, etc. If the dehumidifier is dirty,
please wipe it with a neutral detergent.
23. Please do not incline the dehumidifier over 45°or place it up-
side down.
24. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
25. The device may not be connected to a power strip with other
household appliances.

26. If the device is not used for a long time, please use the func-
tion of the internal drying. This will prevent formation of mildew
and unpleasant smell inside the unit.
27. Do not hang curtains or wet clothes in front of the air outlet,
this will overload the device.
28. The drainage hose may not be installed outdoors at low tem-
peratures.
SERVICE & REPAIR
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service
company that is mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the
product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord
is damaged, return the appliance to a SINGER service center for examina-
tion repair or adjustment. Do not attempt to dismantle any part of the appli-
ance. This should only be done at an authorized SINGER service centre.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present in-
struction manual will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibil-
ity in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries to persons or animals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine made
by unqualified persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be
automatically cancelled.
FREQUENT ENQUIRIES
• Q: Why the dehumidifier cannot run or stop running suddenly?
The water tank may be full of water or it might not be installed properly. Drain
the water from the water tank or re-install water tank in the correct way. At
the moment the dehumidifier might be in the “dehumidification mode” and the
ambient temperature is lower or higher (dehumidification cannot be performed
when the ambient temperature is <5°C or >32°C). The ambient temperature
for operation of the dehumidifier is 5-32°C and the relative humidity is
30%-80%. The optimal temperature for use is 16-32°C.
