Your shades will need to be paired to
the remote prior to operating your shade.
See Pair the Remote below.
It is recommended to only pair one
shade per channel unless it is
absolutely necessary to group shades
other than the "ALL" channel. This
simplifies adjusting limits and setting
favorites.
If a battery is not already installed in
the remote, follow the instructions
REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE. If already
installed, you may need to remove the
protective film by pulling the plastic tab.
Pair The Remote
This remote control has 15 channels.
Before pairing the remote, determine
which shade(s) you want on which
channel. All shades paired to a remote will
also automatically be programmed to the
“ALL” channel.
1. Select the channel on the remote you
would like to pair the shade to.
2. Press and hold the SETTING button on
the motor for 2 seconds. The shade will
jog once and sound a long beep.
3. Press and hold the UP and DOWN
buttons for 2 seconds. The shade will
jog once and beep 7 times. The motor
has been paired successfully.
NOTE: If the UP and DOWN buttons are
not pressed within 10 seconds, the shade
will exit the paringmode automatically.
Repeat steps 1-3 to pair remaining
shades to the rest of the channels.
Select the desired channel with the
CHANNEL button.
Raise and Lower Shade
Press the UP or DOWN buttons to
raise or lower the shade.
Press the STOP button to stop the shade
at the desired position.
ADDING OR REMOVING ADDITIONAL REMOTE
ADDING AN ADDITIONAL REMOTE
Start with a remote that is already paired to
the shade.
1. Press P2 on the paired remote once. The
shade will beep once and jog once.
2. Press P2 on the paired remote once
again. The shade will beep once and jog
once.
3. Press P2 on the new remote once. The
shade will beep 3 times and jog twice.
The new remote will now operate the shade.
REMOVING AN ADDITIONAL REMOTE
Remote(a) and remote(b) are both paired to
the shade.
1. Press P2 on the remote(a) once. The
shade will beep once and jog once.
2. Press P2 on the remote(a) once again.
The shade will beep once and jog once.
3. Press P2 on the remote(b) once . The
shade will beep 3 times and jog twice.
Remote(b) will no longer operate the shade.

Adjust ShadeLimits (IfDesired
The lower and upper limits have been
set at the factory. If you need to make
adjustments to the limits, follow the
instructions below.
Use the CHANNEL buttons to select
the channel for the shade that
needs to be adjusted. Then follow the
directions below.
When adjusting one shade, the other
shades on that channel need to be
temporarily unpaired from the remote
(see UNPAIR THE REMOTE).
Follow the ADJUSTING SHADE LIMITS
instructions and then pair shades by
following the steps to PAIR THE REMOTE.
If there is only a single shade on the
channel, proceed to ADJUSTING SHADE
LIMITS.
NOTE: When setting new limits, your
previously programmed Favorite position
will be deleted.
ADJUSTING SHADE LIMITSADJUSTING SHADE LIMITS
LowerLimit
1. Press the DOWN button and let the
shade go to the original lower limit.
2. Press and hold the UP and DOWN
buttons together for 5 seconds. The
shade will jog once and beep 4 times.
3. Press the UP or DOWN button to
adjust the shade to your desired new
lower position.
4. Press the STOP button when the
shade is at the desired position. The
shade will beep.
5. Press and hold the STOP button for 3
seconds until the shade completes a
series of beeps & jogs (3 beeps, 1 jog, 1
beep). The new lower limit is now set.
Upper Limit
1. Press UP button and let the shade to to
the original upper limit.
2. Press and hold the UP and DOWN
buttons for 5 seconds. The shade will
jog once and beep 4 times.
3. Press the UP or DOWN button to
adjust the shade to your desired new
upper position.
4. Press the STOP button when the
shade is at the desired position. The
shade will beep.
5. Press and hold the STOP button for 3
seconds until the shade completes a
series of beeps & jogs (3 beeps, 1 jog, 1
beep). The new upper limit is now
set.
Note: When in limit setting mode, the
shade will only move in small increments
for precise positioning. A single press of the
UP or DOWN button will move the shade in
smallest increments. Holding the UP or
DOWN button for 2 seconds will move the
shade in bigger increments.

If there is only a single shade on
the channel proceed to SETTING A
FAVORITE POSITION below.
If there is more than one shade on
the channel, all shades on that channel
will need to be unpaired (see UNPAIR
THE REMOTE).
Follow the steps in PAIR THE REMOTE
to pair only the shade that needs a
favorite position set. Then proceed to
SETTING A FAVORITE POSITION.
SettingaFavorite Position
Check both upper and lower limits are set.
Use the UP or DOWN buttons to
position the shade at the desired
“favorite” position.
Press P2 on the back of the remote until
the shade jogs once and beeps.
Press the STOP button until the shade
jogs once and beeps once then release.
Press the STOP button again and the
shade will jog once and beep 3 times.
Your “favorite” position is now set.
Using aFavorite Position
Press and hold the STOP/FAVORITE
button for 2 seconds. The shade will
automatically move to the set “favorite”
position.
RemovingaFavorite Position
Press the P2 button on the back of the
remote until the shade jogs once and
beeps.
Press the STOP button until the shade
jogs once and beeps then release.
Press the STOP button again and the
shade will jog once and beep 3 times.
Your “favorite” position has now been
removed.
Press the P2 button on the remote
once. The shade will jog once and beep
once.
Press the STOP button on the remote
once. The shade will jog once and beep
once.
Press the P2 button on the remote once
again. The shade will jog once and beep
5 times.
All the motors that were paired to that
channel have been unpaired
successfully.
NOTE: If the next button is not pressed
within 10 seconds, the shade will
exit the unparing mode automatically.

ADJUSTING THE JOG FUNCTION
When the jog function is activated,
tapping the UP or DOWN buttons for
less than 2 seconds will move the
shade is short ‘jogs’ while holding the
UP or DOWN button for longer than 2
seconds before releasing will operate the
shade at normal speed to it set limits.
When the jog function is de-
activated, the shade will operate at
normal speed to its set limits when the
UP or DOWN buttons are pressed
and released.
To Activate Jog Function
Press the P2 button on the remote once.
The shade will jog once and and beep
once.
Press the UP button on the remote. The
shade will jog once and beep once.
Press the DOWN button on the remote.
The shade will job once and beep
2 times. The shade is now in jog mode.
To De-Activate Jog Function
Press the P2 button on the remote once.
The shade will jog once and beep once.
Press the UP button on the remote once.
The shade will jog once and beep once.
Press the DOWN button on the remote
once. The shade will jog once and beep 2
times. The shade is now in running mode.
DISABLING UNUSED CHANNELS
The 15 channel remote has the option
of turning off unused channels, making
channel selection easier.
Press and hold both Channel UP and
Channel DOWN buttons until the LED
screen displays the number 15.
Scroll through the channels to select
the required number of channels
(between 1-15).
Press the STOP button once to
confirm selection. The remote will now
only display the number ofchannels
selected.
Follow the same process if you need to re-
add channels.

SHADE MOTOR Press the SETTING button on the motor.
Each press of the motor will operate the
shade UP, DOWN or STOP.
Note: This operation should only be used
if shade limits have been set. DO NOT
use the manual motor operation if shade
limits are not set as this may allow the
motor to run past its operable limit and
can cause damage to the shade.

RESETTING TO FACTORY MODE RESETTING FACTORY LIMITS
WARINING: RESETTING TO FACTORY MODE WILL UNPAIR ALL PREVIOUSLY
PAIRED CONTROLLERS AND WILL ERASE ALL PREVIOUSLY SET LIMITS.
Resetting to Factory Mode
Press and hold SETTING button on the motor for 14 seconds until the motor
jogs 4 times.
Release button and the shade will beep 4 times. The motor has been reset to
factory mode. All settings have been cleared.
Pairing after factory reset
1. Press the SETTING button on the motor for 2 seconds. The shade will jog
once and sound a long beep.
2. Press the P2 button on the remote. The shade will jog once and beep once.
3. Press the P2 button on the remote again. The shade will beep once.
4. Press the UP button on the remote. The shade will jog once and beep 6
times. The motor has been paired.
Once the motor has been paired to the remote, the upper and lower limits
must be set. See RESETTING FACTORY LIMITS.
Confirm Shade Operation Direction
Before resetting factory limits, confirm the shade is operating in the correct
direction.
Press the UP button then STOP button to check if shade is moving in the
correct direction.
WARNING: There are no stop limits set on the motor after being reset to
Factory Mode, you MUST PRESS STOP once the shade is in motion or the
motor will continue to work past the operable limit and will cause damage to
the shade.
If the shade goes up when pressing the DOWN button and down when
pressing the UP button, the direction needs to be switched. See SWITCHING
DIRECTION (POLARITY). The shades operation direction needs to be corrected
before resetting limits.
WARNING: The motor will not stop until
the STOP button is pressed. If the shade
is not stopped, the motor will continue to
work past the operable limit and will
cause damage to the shade.
Lower Limit
1. Press the DOWN button and let the
shade move to the desired lower limit
then press STOP. The shade will beep.
2. Press and hold the STOP button for 3
seconds until the shade completes a
series of beeps & jogs (4 beeps, 1 jog, 1
beep). The new lower limit is now set.
WARNING: The motor will not stop until
the STOP button is pressed. If the shade
is not stopped, the motor will continue to
work past the operable limit and will
cause damage to the shade.
Resetting Factory Limits
The motor must be put into limit
setting mode to reset the factory limits.
Press the P2 button on the back of the
remote. The shade will jog once and
beep once.
Press the UP button on the remote.
The shade will job once and beep once.
Press the P2 button on the back of the
remote. The shade will jog once and
beep 4 times. The motor is now in
Factory Limit Setting mode.
Upper Limit
1. Press UP button and let the shade
move to the desired upper limit then
press STOP. The shade will beep.
2. Press and hold the STOP button for 3
seconds until the shade completes a
series of beeps & jogs (4 beeps, 1 jog, 1
beep). The new lower limit is now set.

Slide the back cover off the remote.
Remove the batt ery and replace it
with a new batt ery (CR2450). The
new batt ery should be inserted
with the writi ng facing up (positi ve
side up).
Replace the back cover of the
remote.
NOTE: When installing the batt
ery for the fi rst ti me, you will need
to remove the fi lm packing sheet.

REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE
When the shade begins to operate
slower than normal and beeps
when operated it is ti me to charge
the batt ery.
Plug the 5v charger into the port
on the motor.
Plug the charger into an electrical
outlet.
A typical charge cycle can take
between 4-6 hours.
Do not leave the charger
plugged in for more than 24
hours. This could prematurely
damage the batt ery.

If the shade goes up when pressing
the DOWN button and down when
pressing the UP button, the direction
needs to be switched.
Press and hold the SETTING button on
the motor until the shade jogs three
times.
Release the SETTING button and the
motor will sound three beeps. The
direction has been switched
successfully.
Adjustingthe Shade Speed
ACCELERATION:
Press P2 button on the back of the
remote until the shade jogs once and
beeps once.
Press the UP button until the shade
jogs once and beeps once.
Press the UP button again until the
shade jogs twice and beeps once. The
shade speed is now accelerated.
DECELERATION:
Press P2 button on the back of the
remote until the shade jogs once and
beeps once.
Press the DOWN button until the
shade jogs once and beeps once.
Press the DOWN button again until
the shade jogs twice and beeps once.
The shade speed is now decelerated.

Determine Solar Panel Placement
The solar panel should be placed where is gets the maximum
amount of sunlight per day.
In most cases this can be achieved by mounti ng the unit
directly to the glass with double sided adhesive. Brackets are
provided if att aching to the glass is not possible. The brackets may be
mounted several diff erent ways depending on the applicati on
(window depth, window width, etc.).
The unit requires 19” minimum window width to mount horizontally.
See below for window types and scenarios best for proper solar
panel use.

INSTALL SOLAR PANEL
Tape Method
Choose the locati on to mount the
solar panel.
Clean the ends of the solar panel
where the tape will go with rubbing
alcohol. When dry, remove the
backing from one side of the double
sided adhesive strip and adhere to
the face of the solar panel. Put one
adhesive strip on each end of the
solar panel. Make sure to put the tape
on the face (black side) of the panel.
Clean the window surface with
rubbing alcohol. When dry, remove
the backing on the adhesive strip and
att ach the solar panel to the inside of
the glass, pressing fi rmly to adhere.

INSTALL SOLAR PANEL
Connect Solar Panel to Motor
After the shade is installed,
plug the solar panel into the
motor recharge port.
Bracket Method
Connect the sliding bracket and the
L-shape bracket using the two
screws and nuts. Do not overtighten
to allow for easy adjustment to the
solar panel mounting height if
needed.
Ceiling mount the L-shape bracket
to the window frame between the
glass and the shade.
Adjust the mounting height by
moving the sliding bracket up and
down. Once positioned at the desired
height, tighten the two screws to fix
the position.
Click the solar panel to the bottom
of the sliding bracket.
If space is limited it may be
easier to attach the brackets to the
solar unit before screwing the
brackets in place.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Shade will not raise or lower. Recharge motor.
Shade runs slowly. Recharge motor.
The motor conঞnues to run in one direcঞon. The limit seমng was unsuccessful and
needs to be reset.
Channel Display screen on remote does
not light up.
Replace the battery in the
remote (CR2450).
The distance required to operate shade
with remote becomes shorter.
Replace the battery in the
remote (CR2450).
Shade goes up when down buon is
pushed and down when up buon is
pushed.
Press the LIMIT buon on the
underside of the remote and the
STOP buon at the same ঞme. Hold
unঞl the shade jogs once or beeps. The
shade should now move in the correct
direcঞ on.
The motor beeps when operated. The baery power is low. Recharge the
motor.
Nothing I do seems to work for the
remote shade.
Unlink the remote from the shade.
Then relink the remote and reset upper
and lower limits.
The shade is not responding or runs slowly
Baery is low and needs charged. Recharge
with compaঞble AC adapter.
Poor connecঞons. Double check power
and cable connecঞons.
Baery in remote needs replaced.
Confirm correct channel is selected on
remote.
Radio or signal interference. Check
antenna on motor is intact and exposed.
Check for possible source of radio
interference.
Device is out of range. Try operaঞng within
closer range
The shade stops before top or boom of
window
The shade has reached its set limit. Reset
shade limits.
