Interface Board

The IFB-X600E interface board is designed to be mounted on Sony
VPL-X600E/S600E LCD data projector so that composite video or S
video (Y/C) signals and audio signals from video equipment can be
input.
Mounting the IFB-X600E
Note
Before installing the board, make sure the following have been done:
• Turn off the power of the projector.
• Disconnect the projector power cable from the wall outlet.
1 Remove the blind plate on the rear of the projector by
loosening the two screws with the supplied Philips
screwdriver.

2 Pull out the connector socket from the projector. Insert the
connector socket (set the uneven side on the right) into the
interface board connector plug. Gather the wires together and
place them in the hook of the interface board.
3 Insert the interface board by aligning it with the projector guides.
Caution
Make sure that the wire is not caught between the opening of the
projector and the board.
4 Tighten the two interface board screws.

Location and Function of Parts
1VIDEO IN jacks
S VIDEO (mini DIN 4-pin): Connects to the S video output (Y/C
video output) of a video equipment.
VIDEO (phono type): Connects to the composite video output of
video equipment.
Note
If you connect video equipment to both the SVIDEO and VIDEO
jacks, the signal from the S VIDEO jack is selected.When projecting
the picture via the VIDEO jack, be sure not to connect a cable to the
S VIDEO jack.
2AUDIO IN L (MONO)/R jacks (phono type):
Connect to the audio output of equipment. For stereo equipment,
use both the L and R jacks; for monaural equipment, use the L
(MONO) jack only.

La carte d’interface IFB-X600E est destinée à être installée sur les
projecteurs de données LCD SonyVPL-X600E/S600E de manière à
pouvoir entrer des signaux audio et vidéo composites ou S-VIDEO (Y/
C) d’un appareil vidéo.
Installation de la carte IFB-X600E
Remarque
Avant d’installer la carte, assurez-vous que les opérations suivantes
ont été exécutées:
• Mettez le projecteur hors tension.
• Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation du projecteur de la prise murale
(secteur).
1 Retirez la plaque aveugle à l’arrière du projecteur en dévissant
les deux vis au moyen du tournevis Philips fourni.

2 Extrayez la prise de connexion du projecteur. Branchez la prise
de connexion (avec le côté irrégulier vers la droite) sur la fiche
de connexion de la carte d’interface. Rassemblez les fils et
placez-les dans le crochet de la carte d’interface.
3 Introduisez la carte d’interface en l’alignant sur les guides du
projecteur.
Attention
Assurez-vous que le fil n’est pas coincé entre l’ouverture du projecteur
et la carte.
4 Serrez les deux vis de fixation de la carte d’interface.

Emplacement et fonction des composants

S VIDEO (miniconnecteurs DIN à 4 broches): Raccordez-les à la
sortie S-VIDEO (sortie vidéo Y/C) d’un appareil vidéo.
VIDEO (type phono): Raccordez-les à la sortie vidéo composite de
l’appareil vidéo.
Remarque
Si vous raccordez l’appareil vidéo à la fois aux prises S-VIDEO et
VIDEO, c’est le signal transmis par la prise S-VIDEO qui est
sélectionné. Lorsque vous projetez l’image via la prise VIDEO,
veillez à ne pas brancher de câble sur la prise S-VIDEO.
2Prises AUDIO IN L (MONO)/R (type phono):
Raccordez-les à la sortie audio de l’appareil. Utilisez les prises L et
R pour un appareil stéréo, ou uniquement la prise L (MONO) pour
un appareil monaural.

Installieren der IFB-X600E
Hinweis
Vor dem Installieren der Karte müssen Sie folgende Vorbereitungen
treffen:
• Schalten Sie den Projektor aus.
• Lösen Sie das Netzkabel des Projektors von der Netzsteckdose.
1 Nehmen Sie die Blende an der Rückseite des Projektors ab,
indem Sie die beiden Schrauben mit dem mitgelieferten
Kreuzschlitzschraubenzieher lösen.
