When using an electrical furnishing, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using (this furnishing).
DANGER - To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1. Always unplug this furnishing from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
WARNING - To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1. Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled pesons.
3. Use this table only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this table if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
7. Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
9. For loading always put heavier items at the bottom and not near the top in order to help prevent the
possibility of the furnishing tipping over.

The power socket/outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS - Please refer to the attached Installation Instructions and the provided User Guide.
USER-MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS - The receptacle power block is equipped with a circuit breaker that will shut
off power in an overload condition. Press to reset the circuit breaker to restore power.
POLARIZED PLUG INSTRUCTIONS - To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this furnishing has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other) like the plug illustrated in Figure 1. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrical to install the
proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way. This product is for use on a nominal 120-V circuit.
No adapter should be used with this product.
DANGER - Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with
a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify
the plug provided with the product - if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

Overview of Assembly Process
1) Determine the table configuration.
2) Attach legs to worksurface (with worksurface upside-down).
3) Attach feet to legs.
4) Attach control box and controller.
5) Connect and route cables.
6) Check for binding and finish leg attachment.
7) Attach wire manager and end caps.
8) Flip table upright and test function.
9) Level and clean it up.

• Sweep the floor! Screws and small parts can damage the worksurface.
Unpack the worksurface and place on the shipping blanket upside-down.

Attaching Mounting Brackets to Legs
Locate and install each mounting bracket using the M6 x 1.0 X 12MM
bolts provided. Tighten securely.
NOTE: Install 2 bolts, (A), in the back of the mounting bracket before
installing the 4 side screws, (B), to ensure that the back of the mounting
bracket is flush with the back of the motor box.

Layout the lifting columns, ensuring that the wiring receptacle
is faced towards the center of the worksurface.

Attaching Legs to Worksurface
Mounting Bracket

With the top still upside down on the floor, turn the legs over, and align the mounting brackets
to the pre-drilled holes in the top. Install one fastener in each of the pre-drilled pilot holes. Then,
install the remaining fasteners in each of the remaining holes and tighten ALL screws securely.
Do not over tighten.

Attaching Feet to Legs & Attaching Control Box & Controller
Locate and install each foot using the M6 X 1.0 X 25MM
bolts provided. Tighten securely.
NOTE: The longer portion of the foot should be facing
the front of the worksurface.

Locate and install each hat-channel clip using fasteners provided. Tighten securely.

Connect the 120V plug into the control box. Secure the cord to the control box
using the molded-in relief as shown. Do not plug into the wall outlet/power source yet.

Route lifting column cables through the molded-in channels on the underside of the
control box, and plug into ports 1 and 2.
Install control box in the pre-determined location, using the pre-drilled holes.
Take care to not damage the cables.

Attaching Control Box & Controller (continued)
Install the controller to the underside
of the worksurface on the side
preferred by the user, using the
pre-drilled holes. Plug the RJ-45
end into controller port A1 on
the control box.

Install the cable clips for the control wire.
Peel off paper backing and stick to
worksurface. Place wire into each cable
clip.

controller cannot be installed until the
worksurface is flipped over. Once step 18

NOTE: If the table is plugged into a power source before the Digital Desk Panel
Controller is plugged into the control box, the table will not move.
If this does occur, disconnect the table from the power source. Then, plug the controller
into port A1 of the control box. Wait at least 20 minutes before connecting the table
back into the power source.

Connecting & Routing Cables
Connect the cables to each lifting column and to the control box. Route these cables in the
wire management slots provided on the underside of the control box. Refer to the Wiring
Guide on page 18 for more information.
For optimal wire management, connect lifting columns
to the port on the control box on the opposite side of the
lifting column to which the cable connects, as shown
below. On larger tables, it may be necessary to connect
the cable to the control box port closest to the lifting
column, without using the control box’s integral wire
management slots.

Bundle and tie the excess cable with the twist ties provided with the power
or motor cables so that it is inline with the control box.
14.
Confirm that the controller is plugged into port A1 of the control box,
and only then, plug unit into the power source. Check function of the
table by operating the lifting columns all the way up and down through
their range of motion. Lower the lifting columns completely, and then
unplug from the power source. Confirm that all the screws are installed
as shown and that the cables are managed correctly before
proceeding.

Attaching Wire Manager & End Caps
Install the wire manager to the underside of the worksurface by snapping the inner walls of
wire manager into place on the hat-channel clips.
The center of the wire manager should be aligned with the center of the worksurface.

Route controller cable from the interior channel of the
wire manager through the opening of the end cap to
the exterior channel of the wire manager.
Route the power cable from the interior channel of the
wire manager to the ‘mouse hole’ in the end cap and
behind the back side of the lifting columns.

Remove the release liner from the dual lock
tape on the interior of the end caps.
Align end caps with the wire manager and install on the underside of the worksurface
around the outer edges of the lifting columns and mounting brackets. Press down at
the locations shown to bond the dual lock tape to the underside of the worksurface.

Finishing the Table Assembly
Carefully turn the table over (2-person operation), taking care to
avoid damaging the controller.
NOTE: Do NOT use either lifting column as a brace when turning
the table over, as this may cause binding. The top must be lifted
free, rotated, and set down carefully.
After the table is in place, connect power cord to power supply.
CAUTION: Be sure to create a 'drip loop' in
the power cord before making the connection
to a live wall socket, to prevent electric shock
if liquids spill on power cord.

Ensure all cables are clear of moving parts.
Before use, the table must be completely leveled,
front-to-back and side-to-side using the height
adjustment glides. Failure to do this could cause
the lifting columns to bind.
Before articulation, you must synchronize the lifting columns as outlined below.
NOTE: Mounting of CPU and CPU holders: Maximum height for these
units cannot exceed 20-1/2”.
GLIDE
Synchronizing the Lifting Columns
Prior to initial use of the height adjustment function you
must "synchronize the system".
•Press the Down arrow until the worksurface comes to
a stop at the lowest position.
•Release the Down arrow.
•Press and hold the down arrow for approximately 5
seconds while the table synchronizes itself. The surface
will quickly lower itself approximately 5mm, then rise
approximately 5mm and finally settle back to its
lowest position.
After performing this function, the movement of all lifting
columns is synchronized by software inside the control box.
In the unlikely event that an error occurs, reset the control
unit by pressing the Up and Down buttons at the same time
for 5 seconds. Then repeat the synchronizing sequence as
previously outlined above. Refer to the Troubleshooting
Guide if necessary.

1When possible, the table should be moved in a horizontal (flat) position.
2If the table must be turned vertically (i.e. standing on a pallet), care must be taken to ensure
no side pressure is placed on any of the lifting columns as it is tipped into position, during
transport, and when tipped off the pallet at the new location.
3Before use in this location, the table must again be completely leveled side-to-side and front-to-back.
Failure to do so may cause binding of the lifting columns and failure to operate properly.
4After moving, the lifting columns must be re-synchronized. Refer to prior page.

1When connecting tables as stated in steps 8-9, 11-14, and 19-20 use this guide as a reference.
2Connect the cables from the lifting columns to the cables provided. The other end should
be connected to the control box. Repeat this for each leg.
3Connect the end of the controller cable into the control box.
4Follow steps 8-9,11-14, and 19-20 to complete the wiring installation.
5Once you have completed the wiring, use the wire managers to hold all the cables and
minimize possible entanglements.
