Bring arm into position from the bottom side of the chair frame.
Click both back tabs into seat back.
Align arm with holes, arm will have tension when holes are aligned – this
is intended. Beginning with the inside bolt, install four (4) Hex head bolts
(14mm length) and flat washer to 48 in-lbs (5.5 Nm).

1. Position chair as shown. Remove all casters
from base as noted above.
2. Remove base by hitting bottom of
cylinder with a hammer while pulling forward on
chair base.
Note: Be careful not to hit the retaining clip or
cylinder rod in center of cylinder, as this may
cause cylinder to break apart.
Hit bottom of base legs with a plastic mallet to seat
base to the cylinder.
4. Insert casters into base and tap them in
with a plastic mallet.
5. Flip chair upright and sit in seat several
times to make sure base is properly seated on
cylinder.
1. Position chair on its side on a clean soft surface.
2. To remove casters: Pull outwards on casters
while tapping base with a plastic mallet.
3. Insert new casters into base and
tap them in with a plastic mallet.

cylinder rod with the hammer.
Hit the outer rim of the cylinder.

1. Place chair, face down, on a clean scratch resistant surface.
2. Remove four (4) torx head screws and flat
washers from the seat.
3. Replace actuator and/or tapered spacer.
NOTE: Thicker portion of spacer faces front of chair.
4. Start bolts by hand with longer bolts in front holes then
torque to 48 in-lbs (5.5 Nm).
5. Reinstall base. See page 3.
