1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthedeck,
engagetheparkingbrake,andturntheengineoff.
Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
2.Unlatchandraisethehood.Usetheproprodto
holditinplace.
3.Removethe(2)angeheadboltssecuringthe
storagecompartmentsupportbrackettotheframe
(Figure1).

1.Unlatchandraisethehood.Usetheproprodto
holditinplace.
2.Removetheplugfromthesquareholeintheright
sideofthehood.Discardtheplug(Figure2).
3.Removethelockingnutfromthelatchassembly.

theframemember.Mountthelatchplatetothetab
withacarriagescrewandangenut.Positionthe
latchplateasshowninFigure2.
7.Closethehoodslowlytoseeiflatchcatches.Ifit
doesnot,loosenthescrewsecuringthelatchplateto
theradiatorsupportandadjusttheplateasnecessary.
Tightenthescrewsandverifythelatchcatches.
8.Usethekeytolock/unlocklatch.Storethekeyina
convenientandmemorableplace.
