Universal KD Table Base Assembly
Stoneworks™ Top Attachment – Flat Underside
OEM Top Attachment
Thank you for selecting Tropitone furniture.
Read through all steps before assembling table bases and attaching tops.
Hardware must be loosely installed until all parts are attached.
Locate all items in the Parts List from your cartons.
Use the shipping carton, pool towels or a tarp to prepare a smooth, non-
scratch work surface.
WARNING: Do not try to lift or flip furniture with only one person. Furniture
pieces may be heavy and awkward to handle, and may result in injury to
persons or damage to property if not lifted properly.
WARNING: Do not sit on or put your full weight onto the table. Serious injury
could result.
CAUTION: For Tropitone Stoneworks® tops, proper screw length should
allow ½” – ¾” of threads to penetrate into the top surface. Confirm proper
screw length before starting Top attachment.
Tools Required
Assembled tables are
large & heavy. Put

Other Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) Top Attachment
After assembly of the base, attaching another manufacturer’s top to the base
must be done per the other equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) instructions.
Tropitone is not responsible for damage to or failure of table tops during
assembly or use.
CAUTION: Confirm screws provided with your OEM top are long enough to
secure the top and not too long so they pierce and damage the top. Do NOT use
Tropitone supplied screws on an OEM top.
Screws included with the base are specific for Tropitone
Stoneworks Table Tops only. Do not use with OEM tops.

Top Ring Assembly
(4) Legs with Braces
(8) 3/4” Bolts and Lock Washers
(4) 2” Bolts and Lock Nuts
(4) 1-¼ #10 Screws, self-tapping
With 2 persons, place the Table Top Ring Assembly upside down
on the prepared work surface.
Place one Leg upside down (glide feet up) onto the Table Top
Ring Assembly leg stub mount with the Leg Brace in the center
bracket.
Loosely install the bolts and washers to retain the Legs to the Top
(2 screws and washers per leg).
Loosely install the bolt and lock nut to retain the Leg Brace into
the center bracket.
Repeat this process until four legs and braces are in place loosely
retained with hardware.
Fully tighten the bolts on the Legs (8 places).
Fully tighten the bolts on Leg Braces (4 places).
Screws included with the base are specific for Tropitone
Stoneworks Table Tops only. Do not use with OEM tops.

Center Brace
(12) 3/4” Bolts and Lock Washers
(4) 2” Bolts and Lock Nuts
(10) 1-¼ #10 Screws, self-tapping
With 2 persons, place the Table Top Ring Assembly upside down
on the prepared work surface.
Place the Center Brace onto the Table Top Ring Assembly center
stub mounts with the Leg Brace brackets angled up.
Loosely install the bolts and washers to retain the Center Brace to
the Top (2 bolts and washers per side).
Place one Leg upside down (glide feet up) onto the Table Top leg
stub mount with the Leg Brace in the center bracket.
Loosely install the bolts and washers to retain the Legs to the Top
(2 bolts and washers per leg).
Loosely install the bolt and lock nut to retain the Leg Brace into
the center bracket.
Repeat this process until four legs and braces are in place and
loosely retained by hardware.
Fully tighten the bolts on the Center Brace (4 places).
Fully tighten the bolts on the Legs (8 places).
Fully tighten the bolts on Braces (4 places).
Screws included with the base are specific for Tropitone
Stoneworks Table Tops only. Do not use with OEM tops.

Tropitone table top attachment
Attach the two middle straps.
Do NOT attach the four straps at the corners.
Continue to page 10 for instructions on installing 10 self-
tapping screws.
Go to Page 10 for instructions on how to attach a
Tropitone table top.

With 2 persons, place the Table Top Ring Assembly upside down
on the prepared work surface.
Place one Middle Leg onto the Table Top Ring Assembly center
stub mount with the Leg Brace brackets angled up and out to the
end of the Table Top Ring Assembly.
Loosely install the bolts and washers to retain the Middle Leg to
the Top (2 bolts and washers).
Repeat this process for the other Middle Leg.
Sort the Left Legs and Right Legs into pairs.
Place one Leg upside down (glide feet up) onto the Table Top
Ring Assembly leg stub mount with the Leg Brace in the center
bracket. If the Leg Brace doesn’t align to the center bracket,
move this leg to the near, adjacent stub mount.
Loosely install the bolts and washers to retain the Legs to the Top
(2 bolts and washers per leg).
Loosely install the bolt and lock nut to retain the Leg Brace into
the center bracket (bolt and lock nut).
Select the remaining leg from this pair place it onto the stub mount
diagonally across the Top Ring Assembly. Loosely install the
hardware per the steps above.
Repeat this process to install the remaining two legs and braces.
Fully tighten the bolts on the Center Brace (4 places).
Fully tighten the bolts on the Legs (8 places).
Fully tighten the bolts on Braces (4 places).

Tropitone table top attachment
Attach the four middle straps.

Stoneworks® Top Attachment
Step 1
CAUTION: It is the assembler’s and user’s
responsibility to confirm and install proper
length screws to prevent damage to the Top.
Place one screw into the Table Base. Measure
the length of the screw threads to insure they
stick up ½” – ¾”.
x If the screw sticks up more than ¾”, do NOT proceed.
The screws are too long and will stick up through the
Top surface.
x If the screw sticks up less than ½”, do NOT proceed.
The screws are too short and will not properly secure
the Top.
Step 2
Prepare a smooth, non-scratch work surface (shipping container, a
tarp or pool towels can be used). With two persons, place the Table
Top upside down on the prepared work surface. With two persons,
gently place the Base upside down onto the Top.
Step 3
Tops with Umbrella Hole
Center the Base on the underside of the Top; sight down through
the umbrella support ring in the Base and align it to the Top.
 Square, Rectangular Tops: Align the Base to the corners
of the Top.
 Round Tops: Continue to step 4.
 Oval Tops: Align the Base to the edges of the Top.
Tops without Umbrella Hole
Center the Base on the underside of the Top.
 Square, Rectangular Tops: Align the Base to the corners
of the Top. Measure equal distances at (4) places from the
corner of the Top to the leg mount.
 Round, Oval Tops: Measure equal distances at (4) places
from the edge of the Top to the leg mount.

Step 4
Attach the Base to the Top using the supplied self-tapping screws.
NOTE: After assembling one Table, turn the Table upright.
Confirm the screws have not penetrated up through the top
surface.
With two persons, lift the table upright while holding the Base near
the (4) outermost Base to Top connection points.
Check that all the screws are firmly tightened to retain the Top.
