FALL-FREE ZONE (ZLQ)
It is essential that the user pay attention to minimum free space
required beneath the feet, with the aim of avoiding the shock
against the structure or the ground in case of a fall.
How to calculate free Fall Zone (ZLQ)
The measure of L1 must understand the inside end of a
connector to another of the lanyard (with shock absorber
closed), as shown in figure below.
It is impossible to imagine or list all the possible wrong ways of
use, so only the recommendations expressed in this manual are
allowed. To prolong the life-time and better using this product

device must be designed in such a way that, within the
conditions most adverse usage, the user is able to perform
the risk activity with the assurance of a safety factor 2 for the
whole system.
• Consider ALWAYS the Fall-free zone (ZLQ). See topic at the
back of this manual;
• Use the 2 lateral rings ALWAYS simultaneously never use just
one of the side points. Risk of damage the column in case
of a fall.
• Use the ventral point ONLY for constraint, positioning or
descent. NEVER use the ventral point for fall retention!
• Consider whenever the personal protection system fall is so
designed that a force of impact less than 6 kN will be generated
in worker in occurrence from a fall.
• Never disconnect the structure.
• Properly Adjust all straps, buckles and connectors and monitor
them during the execution of the work;
• Periodically Inspect your PPE;
• Always double their security systems against falls;
• In case of a malfunction the product must be unusable;

impact, abrasive wear, change of coloration due to UV rays;
• No apparent internal ruptures can cause a decreased
resistance limiting its operation;
• Dust and sand are abrasive elements and when come into
the seams and ribbons of the belt can reduce gradually the
resistance of its internal bers;
• Wash your textile equipment where necessary;
• Carefully read the threads at the back of this manual.
