CAMSETW1 – WIRELESS 4-CHANNEL B/W SECURITY SYSTEM 2.4GHz
1. Introduction
Thank you for buying the CAMSETW1! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
Make sure that the device was not damaged in transit. If the device is damaged, you should contact your dealer.

2. Description
a) Camera

3. Installing the Camera
Test the reception at the mounting location prior to the actual installation. Have someone hold the camera in place
while someone else checks the reception quality on the monitor. Read "Troubleshooting" on p. 4 in case or
interference or other problems. Choose a different mounting location if the problems persist.
Power Supply
The camera operates on AA batteries or AC mains power:
Remove the cover of the battery compartment. Insert the batteries while paying attention to the polarity indications!
Close the battery compartment. Tips : remove the batteries in case of prolonged inactivity and never mix old and new
batteries.
When using AC mains power : Connect the jack at the back of the camera with a wall outlet using the included 9V
DC adapter.
Put the POWER switch in the ON position. The LED at the back of the camera lights up.
Aiming the Lens
Place the camera in a suitable location, aim the lens and manipulate the lens body carefully in order to set the
viewing angle. The auto focus function automatically adjusts the focus of the picture.
The camera head can rotate 200° horizontally and 30° vertically. The lens is built into a lens body that can rotate
180° vertically. Do not use excessive force when turning the lens body to avoid severe damage to the camera.
Fine-Tuning
Adjust the antenna so that the front is facing the monitor (see “Orienting the Camera and the Monitor” on p. 3).
4. Installing the Monitor
Power Supply
The camera works on C-batteries or on AC mains power :
Remove the cover of the battery compartment. Insert the batteries while paying attention to the polarity indications.
Close the battery compartment. Tips : remove the batteries in case of prolonged inactivity and never mix old and new
batteries.
When using AC mains power : Connect the jack at the back of the monitor with a wall outlet using the included 13.5V
DC adapter.
Place the POWER switch in the ON position. The LED on the monitor's front panel lights up.
Fine-Tuning
Adjust the picture on the monitor if necessary with the V-HOLD, CONTRAST and BRIGHTNESS adjustments at the
back of the monitor. Place the receiver in a suitable location and aim the antenna in such a way that the front is
facing the camera (see "Orienting the Camera and the Monitor" on p. 3).

5. Installing Other Applications
a) Video Recordings
Connect the monitor with a video recorder via the A/V output jacks in order to make recordings: connect the yellow
and white plugs of the A/V cable with the yellow and white input jacks of the video. Make sure the colours match.
b) Night Vision
The camera is equipped with 8 LEDs enabling the user to record clear images in low-light conditions. Put the switch
at the back of the camera in the NIGHT position to activate the night vision function. Deactivate this function when
you don't need it in order to limit consumption.
c) Audio Recordings
You can turn off the screen so that only sound is recorded. Just press the ON/OFF button on the front panel of the
monitor.
6. Orienting the Camera and the Monitor
Place the camera and the receiver on a flat and stable surface. Place the devices as high off the ground as possible
so their operation will not be impeded by people walking between the camera and the monitor.
Microwave ovens can cause interference. Make sure there is no microwave oven between the camera and the
monitor.
Make sure the front of the A/V antennas of the camera and the monitor are aimed towards each other. There is no
need to raise the antennas if camera and receiver are less than 3m apart.
Remark : The A/V antennas were designed to be able to rotate but their rotation range is still limited. The antenna
and the stopper will both be damaged irreparably if you try to rotate the antennas too far.
7. Auto Sequence Function for Monitoring Multiple Locations
The built-in auto sequence function is ideal for security purposes. The receiver is equipped with 4 channels and uses
up to 4 cameras. It displays the picture of these 4 cameras sequentially on 1 single monitor. Several settings are
available for the monitor thanks to the DIP switches. In the default setting only the first DIP switch is in the ON
position.
DIP switches 1 through 4 set the auto sequence function of the channels. Place the switch of the channel you want to
display in the ON position. Switch 5 sets the time in between sequences : ON switches channels every 8 seconds,
OFF switches every 4 seconds.
Remark :
The monitor automatically detects the receiving channels and displays them in sequence. One single channel is
received continuously if the switch for that channel is the only one to be placed in the ON position, regardless of the
position of the fifth switch. If more than 1 channel has its switch in the ON position, then the auto sequence function
will work for the activated channels.
The monitor automatically sets channel 1 as the receiving channel if not a single channel switch is in the ON position.

Example of the auto sequence function :
If you have 2 wireless cameras and you wish to view the picture of channels 1 & 3 on the monitor, you should place
DIP switches 1 & 3 in the ON position. Put DIP switch 5 in the ON position if you want to switch cameras every 8
seconds. Leave DIP switch 5 in the OFF position if you want to switch channels every 4 seconds.
Put DIP switch 1 or 3 in the OFF position if you want to display the picture of 1 camera continuously.
8. Troubleshooting
There is no signal :
•Check the ON/OFF switches of the camera and the monitor.
•Make sure the power plugs are pushed all the way in.
•Make sure the same channel is selected on the camera and the monitor.
•If the camera and/or the monitor are battery-powered: check if the batteries need to be replaced.
•If you have no picture or a poor one: check the SCREEN ON/OFF button on the front panel, or adjust the V-
HOLD/CONTRAST/BRIGHTNESS button at the back of the monitor.
You're getting a weak signal or there is interference :
•Reorient the antennas.
•Set the same channel for the camera and the monitor.
•Make sure there is no microwave between the camera and the monitor. If so, deactivate it or move it.
•Do not exceed the max. distance of ± 100m between the camera and the monitor.
•Check the setting of the monitor's DIP switches.
9. Maintenance
•Only reorient the antennas if the picture quality is unsatisfactory.
•Keep this device away from children.
•Fingerprints or smudges on the lens can affect picture quality. Do not touch the lens with your fingers.
•Keep the device dry. Water contains minerals that corrode electronic circuits.
•Do not store this device in a dusty or dirty environment to avoid damage to the moving parts.
•Do not store the device in a warm location. High temperatures shorten the life of electronic devices and plastic will
melt.
•Do not store the device in a cold environment. Condensation may form inside the housing when the device is
subsequently moved to a warmer environment.
•Do not try to open the housing. Have the device repaired or serviced by a schooled technician.
•Do not drop the CAMSETW1, do not shake it or hit it. Rough handling may damage circuit boards.
•Wipe the device clean with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
•Only use the supplied adapters.
•Do not overload the used outlets and extension cords to avoid all risks of electroshocks and fire.

1. Inleiding en inhoud
Dank u voor uw aankoop! Lees deze handleiding grondig voor u het toestel in gebruik neemt. Ga na of het toestel
niet werd beschadigd tijdens het transport. Raadpleeg uw dealer indien dit wel het geval is.
Ga eerst na of u over alle nodige onderdelen beschikt:
•1 camera
•1 monitor
•2 adapters
•1 uitgebreide handleiding
Opmerking : De AC adapters kunnen onderling NIET worden verwisseld. Gebruik enkel de 9V DC adapter voor de
camera en enkel de 13.5V DC adapter voor de monitor.

2. Beschrijving
a) Camera (zie fig. 1 blz. 1)

3. De camera installeren
Test eerst de ontvangst indien u de camera wil monteren. Laat iemand de camera op de gewenste plaats houden
terwijl iemand anders de kwaliteit van de ontvangst controleert op de monitor. Lees "Problemen en oplossingen" op
blz. 8-9 bij storingen of andere problemen. Kies een andere montageplaats indien de problemen aanhouden.
Voeding
De camera werkt op AA-batterijen of op AC netstroom :
Verwijder het deksel van het batterijvak. Breng de batterijen in en let hierbij op de polariteitsindicaties ! Breng het
deksel weer aan. Tips : verwijder de batterijen wanneer u weet dat u de camera een hele tijd niet meer zal gebruiken
en meng nooit oude en nieuwe batterijen.
Indien u AC netvoeding gebruikt : verbind het stopcontact en de contactbus aan de achterkant van de camera met
behulp van de meegeleverde 9V DC adapter.
Plaats de POWER schakelaar in de ON-stand. De LED aan de achterkant van de camera gaat branden.

Lens richten
Plaats de camera op een geschikte plaats, richt de lens en regel de gezichtshoek door de lenshuls voorzichtig te
manipuleren. De autofocusfunctie regelt de beeldscherpte automatisch.
De kop van de camera kan horizontaal 200° en vertikaal 30° draaien. De lens is ingebouwd in een huls die vertikaal
180° kan draaien. Gebruik niet te veel kracht wanneer u aan de lenshuls draait. U zou de camera zwaar kunnen
beschadigen.
Fijnregeling
Regel de antenne zodat de holle voorkant gericht is naar de monitor (zie "Camera en monitor richten" op blz. 8).
4. De monitor installeren
Voeding
De camera werkt op C-batterijen of op AC netstroom :
Verwijder het deksel van het batterijvak. Breng de batterijen in en let hierbij op de polariteitsindicaties ! Breng het
deksel weer aan. Tips : verwijder de batterijen wanneer u weet dat u de monitor een hele tijd niet meer zal gebruiken
en meng nooit oude en nieuwe batterijen.
Indien u AC netvoeding gebruikt : verbind het stopcontact en de contactbus aan de achterkant van de monitor met
behulp van de meegeleverde 13.5V DC adapter.
Plaats de POWER schakelaar in de ON-stand. De LED aan de voorkant van de monitor gaat branden.
Fijnregeling
Regel het beeld op de monitor indien nodig met de V-HOLD, CONTRAST en BRIGHTNESS regelingen aan de
achterkant van de monitor. Plaats de monitor op een geschikte plaats en regel de antenne zodat de voorkant gericht
is naar de ruimte waarin de camera is opgesteld (zie "Camera en monitor richten") op blz. 8.
5. Andere toepassingen installeren
a) Video-opnames
Sluit de monitor via de A/V uitgangsjacks aan op een videorecorder om opnames te maken: verbind de witte en gele
pluggen van de A/V kabel met de witte en gele ingangsjacks van de video. Zorg ervoor dat de kleuren telkens
overeenkomen.
b) Nachtzicht
De camera is uitgerust met 8 LEDs die zorgen voor heldere beelden bij beperkt omgevingslicht. Schuif de schakelaar
aan de achterkant van de camera naar NIGHT om de nachtzichtfunctie te activeren. Schakel deze functie uit
wanneer u ze niet nodig heeft, zo beperkt u het verbruik van het toestel.
c) Audio-opnames
U kunt het scherm uitschakelen zodat u enkel geluid opneemt. Druk hiervoor gewoon de ON/OFF knop aan de
voorkant van de monitor in.

6. Camera en monitor richten
Plaats camera en monitor op een stabiel en plat oppervlak. Plaats de toestellen zo hoog mogelijk zodat mensen die
tussen camera en monitor door lopen de werking niet kunnen hinderen.
Microgolfovens kunnen storingen veroorzaken. Zorg ervoor dat er zich op het pad tussen camera en monitor geen
microgolfoven bevindt.
Richt de voorkant van de A/V antennes van camera en monitor naar elkaar. U kunt de antennes plat laten liggen
wanneer camera en monitor minder dan 3 meter van elkaar zijn verwijderd.
Opmerking : De A/V antennes werden ontworpen om te kunnen draaien maar hun rotatiebereik is beperkt. De
antenne en het stopmechanisme zullen blijvende schade oplopen indien u de antennes te ver probeert
te draaien.
7. Autosequentiefunctie voor de bewaking van verschillende locaties
De ingebouwde autosequentiefunctie is ideaal voor beveiligingsdoeleinden. De monitor heeft 4 kanalen en werkt met
max. 4 camera’s en geeft het beeld van die vier camera’s sequentieel weer op 1 monitor. Dankzij de DIP schakelaars
kunt u kiezen uit verschillende instellingen voor de monitor. Bij de fabrieksinstelling staat enkel de eerste DIP
schakelaar op ON.
Met DIP schakelaars 1 tot 4 stelt u de autosequentiefunctie van de kanalen in. Plaats de schakelaar van het kanaal
dat u wenst af te beelden in de ON-positie. Schakelaar 5 stelt de tijd tussen de sequenties in : ON wisselt om de 8
seconden van kanaal, voor OFF is dat om de 4 seconden.
Opgelet :
De monitor detecteert automatisch de ontvangende kanalen en geeft ze sequentieel weer. Eénzelfde kanaal wordt
continu ontvangen indien enkel de schakelaar van dat kanaal in de ON-stand staat en dit ongeacht de stand van de
vijfde schakelaar. Indien de schakelaars van meer dan 1 kanaal in de ON-stand staan, dan functioneert de
autosequentiefunctie voor de ingeschakelde kanalen.
De monitor stelt automatisch kanaal 1 in als ontvangend kanaal indien geen enkele kanaalschakelaar in de ON-stand
staat.
Voorbeeld van de autosequentiefunctie :
Indien u 2 draadloze camera's heeft en u wilt het beeld van kanalen 1 en 3 bekijken op de monitor, plaats dan DIP
schakelaars 1 en 3 in de ON stand. Plaats DIP schakelaar 5 in de ON stand indien u om de 8 seconden wilt
overschakelen van camera 1 naar camera 3. Laat DIP schakelaar 5 staan in de OFF stand als u om de 4 seconden
wilt overschakelen.
Plaats DIP schakelaar 1 of 3 in de OFF stand indien u continu het beeld van 1 enkele camera wilt bekijken.
8. Problemen en oplossingen
U ontvangt geen signaal :
•Controleer de ON/OFF schakelaars van camera en monitor.
•Ga na of de plugs voor de stroomtoevoer goed werden aangesloten.
•Ga na of hetzelfde kanaal is geselecteerd op de monitor en op de camera.
•Indien de camera en/of de monitor worden gevoed met batterijen: ga na of de batterijen moeten worden
vervangen

•Indien u geen of slecht beeld heeft: controleer de SCREEN ON/OFF knop op het frontpaneel, of regel de V-
HOLD/CONTRAST/BRIGHTNESS knop bij aan de achterkant van de monitor.
U ontvangt een zwak signaal of het beeld is gestoord :
•Regel de oriëntatie van de antennes.
•Schakel voor camera en monitor hetzelfde kanaal in.
•Zorg ervoor dat er geen microgolfoven staat tussen camera en monitor. Zo ja, schakel deze dan uit of verwijder
hem.
•Camera en monitor mogen max. ± 100m van elkaar worden verwijderd.
•Controleer de instelling van de DIP schakelaars van de monitor.
9. Onderhoud
•Pas de positie van de antennes enkel aan indien de beeldkwaliteit niet optimaal is.
•Houd het toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen.
•Vingerafdrukken of vuil op de lens kunnen de beeldkwaliteit aantasten; raak de lens niet aan met uw vingers.
•Houd het toestel droog. Water bevat mineralen die de elektronische circuits zouden aantasten.
•Bewaar dit toestel niet in stoffige, vuile plaatsen om schade aan de bewegende delen te vermijden.
•Bewaar het toestel niet in hete plaatsen. Hoge temperaturen zijn nadelig voor de levensduur van elektronische
toestellen en plastic kan smelten.
•Bewaar het toestel niet in erg koude plaatsen. Wanneer u het toestel dan verplaatst naar een warmere omgeving
kan dit leiden tot het ontstaan van condensatie in het toestel.
•Probeer de behuizing niet open te maken. Laat het herstellen of nazien door een geschoold technicus.
•Laat het toestel niet vallen, schud er niet mee en klop er niet op. Een ruwe behandeling kan de printplaten
beschadigen.
•Reinig het toestel met een zachte doek en een milde detergent. Gebruik geen solventen of schuurmiddelen.
•Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde netadapters.
•Overbelast de gebruikte stopcontacten en verlengkabels niet om elektroshocks en brand te vermijden.

Remarque : Les adaptateurs CA ne sont pas interchangeables. L'adaptateur 9V DC est uniquement pour emploi
avec la caméra et l'adaptateur 13.5V DC convient uniquement pour emploi avec le moniteur.
2. Description
