Laminate Surface Option: Attach Vertical Support to Surface
Lay the surface upside down on a soft surface so that the pilot holes are
facing upward. Place the vertical support top plate in the dado and secure
it with (5) screws.

Steel Surface Option: Attach Vertical Support to Surface
Lay the surface upside down on a soft surface so that welded bracket is facing upward.
Align the vertical support top plate with the bracket and secure it with (5) screws.

Connect Base Plate to Vertical Support
With the surface still upside down, hold the base with sliders and
countersinks facing up and align the screw cutouts with the holes in the
vertical support. Secure the base with (2) screws.
