SanTec PROOF S4.
Damit Sie jahrelang Freude mit dieser hochwertigen Armatur
haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen folgende Punkte bei der Reinigung
und Pflege zu beachten:
milde, seifenhaltige Reinigungsmittel verwenden
keine kratzenden, scheuernden oder säurehaltigen
Reinigungs- oder Desinfektionsmittel verwenden
nur mit weichem Schwamm oder Tuch behandeln
keine Reinigung mit Dampfstrahlgeräten
Diese Anleitung ist gültig für folgende Produkte:

Lieferumfang:
Frontplatte Edelstahl oder Messing verchromt mit integrierter
Elektronik, Montagerahmen und Thermostatgriff in chrom
mit Heißwassersperre.
Wichtige Installationshinweise:
UP-Dose für optionales Netzteil außerhalb des Schutzbereichs vor-
sehen. Die Montage und Installation darf nur durch einen konzessi-
onierten Fachbetrieb gemäß DIN 1988, ÖVE/ÖNORM E8001 sowie
VDE 0100 Teil 701 erfolgen. Bei der Planung und Errichtung von
Sanitäranlagen sind die entsprechenden örtlichen, nationalen und
internationalen Normen und Vorschriften zu beachten!
Gemäß ÖNORM B 5019 ist für die thermische Desinfektion an den
Abgabestellen eine Mindesttemperatur von 60 °C über mindestens
10 Minuten erforderlich. Es ist sicherzustellen, dass alle Anlagenteile
(z.B. Rohrwerkstoff) für die bei der thermischen Desinfektion ein-
gesetzten Temperaturen tauglich sind.

1. Schrauben entfernen und Rohbauschutz abnehmen.
2. Vorstehenden Teil des Rohbaukastens fliesenbündig
abschneiden.
3. Ggf. zwischen Wand und Rohbauset mit Silikon abdichten.
4. Wasserzuleitung absperren.
5. Beide Vorabsperrungen mit einem Schraubendreher öffnen.
6. Adapter für Thermostat mit Inbus 2,5 montieren.

7. Anschlusskabel 2 x 0,5 mm2 oder 2 x 1 mm2 in den UP-Kasten einziehen und am Netzteil
(Art.Nr. 117 899, 113 792) anschließen.
Achtung: Netzteil darf nicht im Rohbauset verbaut werden!
8. Adapter-Kabel am Versorgungskabel anschließen.
9. Montagerahmen mit 4 beiliegenden Schrauben befestigen. Dabei auf die Kabelverbindungen
achten und die Kabel nicht quetschen. Montagerahmen exakt ausrichten und Schrauben fest-
ziehen. Beim Festziehen der Schrauben darauf achten, dass sich der Montagerahmen nicht
verformt. Beigelegtes Spezialfett an der Dichtung vorne auftragen.
10. Magnetventil anstecken und dann Elektro-Anschluss am Elektronikmodul herstellen.
11. Spannungsversorgung einschalten (Sicherheitsschließimpuls des Magnetventils erfolgt).
12. Thermostatposition kontrollieren (Thermostatwelle auf linken Anschlag drehen, dann nach
rechts bis Pfeil nach oben zeigt). Beigelegtes Spezialfett an der Dichtung vorne auftragen.

13. Position des Thermostatknopfes kontrollieren - Absperrknopf
zeigt senkrecht nach oben.
14. Frontplatte schräg aufsetzen und mit Druck in die
waagrechte Position nach links drehen.
15. Frontplatte mit Sicherungsschraube rechts unten sichern.
16. Wasserleitung öffnen.
17. Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit. Funktionstest durchführen.

Congratulations on purchasing the SanTec PROOF S4.
In order to ensure that you will be able to enjoy this high-quality
product for many years, please take note of the following cleaning
and maintenance recommendations:
Use mild cleaning agents containing soap
Do not use abrasive, scrubbing, sealing or acidic
cleaning agents or disinfectants
Clean the fitting with a soft sponge or cloth only
Do not use steam cleaners
This manual is valid for the following products:
SanTec PROOF S4 shower fitting

Delivery scope:
Front plate made out of staineless steel or chomed brass with
integrated electronics, mounting frame and thermostat knob with
hot-water barrier.
Important installation notes:
Mounting and installation may only be performed by a qualified
service provider in accordance with DIN 1988, ÖVE/ÖNORM E8001
and VDE 0100 Part 701. When planning and installing sanitary
facilities, all relevant local, national and inter-national standards
and provisions must be observed! Provide for 230 V / 12 V power
unit outside of the protected zone.
According to the Austrian ÖNORM B 5019, thermal disinfection re-
quires a minimum temperature of 60 °C for at least 10 min at the
relevant system locations. The operator must ensure that all parts
of the installation (e.g., piping) can withstand the temperatures
applied during thermal disinfection.

Assembly
1. Remove the screws and take off the protective cover.
2. Cut off protruding parts from the flush-mount box so it
aligns with the tiles.
3. Where necessary, seal off space between wall and flush-
mount set with silicone.
4. Close the main water valve.
5. Open both integrated stop valves using a screwdriver.
6. Mount adapter for thermostat using the 2.5 Allen key.

7. Feed the 0,5 mm2 or 2 x 1 mm2 connection cable into the flush-mount set and connect it to
the power supply (art. no. 117 899, 113 792).
Attention: The power supply must not be installed in the flush-mount set!
8. Connect the adapter cable to the power cable.
9. Correctly align the mounting frame and securely fasten the screws. When tightening the
screws, ensure that the mounting frame does not get warped. Apply the included special
grease to the front of the valve.
10. Plug in the magnetic valve and connect the power cables to the electronics module.
11. Switch on the power supply (causing the safety locking mechanism of the magnetic valve to
activate).
12. Check the thermostat position (turn the thermostat shaft to the leftmost position, and then
turn it to the right until the arrow points upwards). Apply the included special grease to the
front of the valve.

13. Check the position of the thermostat knob – the locking
knob should be pointing directly upwards.
14. Insert the front plate at an angle and apply some pressure
while turning it to the left to align it horizontally.
15. Arrest front plate by fastening the locking screw at the
lower right.
16. Open the main water valve.
17. The device is now ready for operation. Perform a system
test.
