stacji ładującej i zasilacza dostarczonych w zestawie. Używanie innego zasilacza może spowodować powstanie pożaru lub znisz-

czenie narzędzia. Ładowanie akumulatora może odbywać się jedynie w pomieszczeniu zamkniętym, suchym i zabezpieczonym

przed dostępem osób niepowołanych, a zwłaszcza dzieci. Nie wolno używać stacji ładującej i zasilacza bez stałego dozoru osoby

dorosłej! W razie konieczności opuszczenia pomieszczenia, w której odbywa się ładowanie, należy odłączyć ładowarkę od sieci

elektrycznej przez wyjęcie zasilacza z gniazda sieci elektrycznej. W przypadku wydobywania się z ładowarki dymu, podejrzanego

zapachu itp. należy natychmiast wyjąć wtyczkę ładowarki z gniazda sieci elektrycznej!

Wiertarko - wkrętarka dostarczana jest z akumulatorem nie naładowanym, dlatego przed rozpoczęciem pracy należy go ładować

zgodnie z procedura opisaną poniżej za pomocą znajdujących się w zestawie zasilacza i stacji ładującej. Akumulatory typu Li-Ion

(litowo – jonowe) nie wykazują tzw. “efekt pamięciowego”, co pozwala je doładowywać w dowolnym momencie. Zalecane jest jednak

rozładowanie akumulatora podczas normalnej pracy, a następnie naładowanie do pełnej pojemności. Jeżeli ze względu na charakter

pracy nie jest możliwe za każdym razem takie potraktowanie akumulatora, to należy to zrobić przynajmniej co kilka, kilkanaście cykli

pracy. W żadnym wypadku nie wolno rozładowywać akumulatorów zwierając elektrody, gdyż powoduje to nieodwracalne uszkodze-

nia! Nie wolno także sprawdzać stanu naładowania akumulatora, przez zwieranie elektrod i sprawdzanie iskrzenia.

Przechowywanie akumulatora

Aby wydłużyć czas życia akumulatora należy zapewnić właściwe warunki przechowywania. Akumulator wytrzymuje około 500

cykli „ładowanie - rozładowanie”. Akumulator należy przechowywać w zakresie temperatur od 0 do 30 stopni Celsjusza, przy

względnej wilgotności powietrza 50%. Aby przechowywać akumulator przez dłuższy czas, należy go naładować do ok 70% po-

jemności. W przypadku dłuższego przechowywania należy okresowo, raz w roku naładować akumulator. Nie należy doprowadzać

do nadmiernego rozładowania akumulatora, gdyż skraca to jego żywotność i może spowodować nieodwracalne uszkodzenie.

W trakcie przechowywania akumulator będzie się stopniowo rozładowywał, ze względu na upływność. Proces samoistnego roz-

ładowania zależy od temperatury przechowywania, im wyższa temperatura, tym szybszy proces rozładowania. W przypadku nie-

właściwego przechowywania akumulatorów może dojść do wycieku elektrolitu. W przypadku wycieku należy zabezpieczyć wyciek

za pomocą środka neutralizującego, w przypadku kontaktu elektrolitu z oczami, należy obﬁ cie przemyć oczy wodą, a następnie

niezwłocznie skorzystać z pomocy lekarskiej. Zabronione jest korzystanie z narzędzia z uszkodzonym akumulatorem.

W przypadku całkowitego zużycia akumulatora należy go oddać do specjalistycznego punktu zajmującego się utylizacją tego

typu odpadów.

Transport akumulatorów

Akumulatory litowo – jonowe wg przepisów prawnych są traktowane jak materiały niebezpieczne. Użytkownik narzędzia może

transportować narzędzie z akumulatorem oraz same akumulatory drogą lądową. Nie muszą być wtedy spełnione dodatkowe

warunki. W przypadku zlecenia transportu osobom trzecim (na przykład wysyłka za pomocą ﬁ rmy kurierskiej) należy postępować

zgodnie z przepisami dotyczącymi transportu materiałów niebezpiecznych. Przed wysyłką należy skontaktować się w tej sprawie

z osobą o odpowiednich kwaliﬁ kacjach.

Zabronione jest transportowanie uszkodzonych akumulatorów. Na czas transportu demontowane akumulatory należy usunąć

z narzędzia, odsłonięte styki zabezpieczyć, np. zakleić taśmą izolacyjną. Akumulatory zabezpieczyć w opakowaniu w taki sposób,

aby nie przemieszczały się wewnątrz opakowania w trakcie transportu. Należy także przestrzegać przepisów krajowych dotyczą-

cych transportu materiałów niebezpiecznych.

Ładowanie akumulatora

Uwaga! Przed ładowaniem należy odłączyć zasilacz stacji ładującej od sieci elektrycznej przez wyciągnięcie wtyczki zasilacza

z gniazda sieci elektrycznej. Ponadto należy oczyścić akumulator i jego zaciski z brudu i pyłu za pomocą miękkiej, suchej szmatki.

Akumulator posiada wbudowany wskaźnik naładowania. Naciskając przycisk zaświecą się diody (XI), im więcej, tym bardziej

naładowany akumulator. Jeżeli po naciśnięciu przycisku diody się nie świecą oznacza to rozładowany akumulator.

Odłączyć akumulator od narzędzia.

Wsunąć akumulator w gniazdo ładowarki (XI).

Podłączyć ładowarkę do gniazda sieci elektrycznej.

Zaświeci się czerwona dioda, co oznacza proces ładowania.

Po zakończeniu ładowania zgaśnie dioda czerwona, a zaświeci się dioda zielona, oznaczająca pełne naładowanie akumulatora.

Należy wyciągnąć wtyczkę zasilacza z gniazda sieci elektrycznej.

Wysunąć akumulator ze stacji ładującej, naciskając przycisk zatrzasku akumulatora.

Uwaga! Jeżeli po podłączeniu ładowarki do sieci elektrycznej zaświeci się zielona dioda oznacza to w pełni naładowany akumu-

lator. W takim wypadku ładowarka nie rozpocznie procesu ładowania.

KONSERWACJA I PRZECHOWYWANIE PRODUKTU

Uwaga! Przed rozpoczęciem jakiejkolwiek czynności opisanej poniżej należy odłączyć nożyce od zasilania. Narzędzia zasilane

sieciowo należy odłączyć od gniazdka, od narzędzi zasilanych akumulatorowo należy odłączyć akumulator.

Po każdym użyciu należy dokonać przeglądu stanu narzędzia ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem drożności otworów wentylacyjnych.

Należy sprawdzić ułożenie wszystkich elementów narzędzia. Ewentualne luźne połączenia śrubowe dokręcić. Sprawdzić stan

ostrzy. Oczyścić je za pomocą szczotki, a następnie zakonserwować za pomocą środka smarnego w sprayu. Nadmiar środka

smarnego należy wytrzeć. W przypadku zauważenia jakichkolwiek uszkodzeń lub stępienia ostrzy należy je wymienić w autory-

zowanym punkcie serwisowym.

Zabronione jest używanie nożyc z uszkodzonymi ostrzami.

Należy dbać, aby ostrza były zawsze nasmarowane. Zapobiegnie to pojawianiu się rdzy, która obniża wydajność narzędzia,

a także może zwiększyć ryzyko wystąpienia urazów. Luz pomiędzy ostrzami powinien wynosić pomiędzy 0,2, a 0,4 mm, mierzone

w miejscu skręcenia ostrzy śrubą.

Fabrycznie ostrza są naostrzone w celu osiągania optymalnej wydajności pracy, ale w wyniku pracy ulegają stępieniu. Przed

rozpoczęciem każdej pracy należy ocenić stan ostrzy. Jeżeli zostaną zaobserwowane zaokrąglenie górnej krawędzi ostrzy lub

zniknięcie zaokrąglenia dolnej części ostrza, należy ostrza naostrzyć (XII). Ostrzenia należy dokonać w autoryzowanym serwisie

producenta.

Przed rozpoczęciem przechowywania nożyc przez dłuższy czas należy ostrza spryskać za pomocą środka konserwującego

lub rozprowadzić go po ostrzach za pomocą pędzla. Nadmiar środka konserwującego należy usunąć dopiero bezpośrednio przed

przystąpieniem do pracy. Taka konserwacja zmniejszy ryzyko rdzewienia ostrzy.

Obudowę narzędzia należy czyścić miękką suchą szmatką. Obudowę należy wyczyścić z resztek drewna, oleju, smaru oraz in-

nych zanieczyszczeń. Narzędzie należy przechowywać w suchym, zamkniętym pomieszczeniu, odłączone od sieci elektrycznej.

Narzędzie należy przechowywać w miejscach zacienionych, suchych i wyposażonych w odpowiednią wentylację zapobiegającą

Hedge trimmer is designed for trimming and forming of bush crowns and trimming of thin branches. Adding the extension arm

made it possible to form the hedge of even signiﬁ cant height. Due to electric drive of the trimmer, operation is much more noiseless

than in case of combustion engines, it is also possible close to buildings. Thanks to battery power operation, a trimmer make it

possible to work in places inaccessible for products powered from mains. Correct, reliable and safe operation of the tool depends

on proper operation, therefore:

GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS

NOTE! Get acquainted with all the instructions below. Failure to observe them may lead to an electric shock, ﬁ re or injuries. The

notion of electric tool used in the instructions applies to all the tools which are powered with electric current, both wire tools and

wireless ones.

OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS

Place of work

The place of work must be properly illuminated and clean. Disorder and poor illumination may be a cause of accidents.

Do not work with electric tools in explosive environments, or those which contain inﬂ ammable liquids, gases or vapours.

Electric tools generate sparks, which may cause a ﬁ re in case of contact with inﬂ ammable gases or vapours.

Do not allow children and outsiders to the place of work. A lack of concentration may result in a loss of control over the tool.

Electric safety

The plug of the power supply cable must ﬁ t the mains socket. Do not modify the plug. Do not use any adapters whatso-

ever in order to adapt the plug to the socket. Unmodiﬁ ed plug which ﬁ ts the socket reduces the risk of an electric shock.

Avoid contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes, heaters and refrigerators. Grounding of the body increases the risk

of an electric shock.

Do not expose electric tools to precipitation or humidity. Water and humidity which gets into the electric tool increases the

risk of an electric shock.

Do not overload the power supply cable. Do not use the power supply cable in order to carry the tool or to connect and

disconnect the plug from the mains socket. Avoid contact of the power supply cable with heat, oils, sharp tools and

moving elements. Damage to the power supply cable increases the risk of an electric shock.

In case work is realised outside closed areas, it is necessary to use extension cords designed for applications outside

closed areas. Using a correct extension cord permits to reduce the risk of an electric shock.

If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RDC) protected supply. Use of

an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

Personal safety

Commence work in good physical and psychological conditions. Pay attention to what you do. Do not work if you are

tired or under eﬀ ects of medicines or alcohol. Even a moment’s inattention during work may lead to serious injuries.

Always use individual means of protection. Always wear goggles. Using individual means of protection, such as dust-masks,

protective shoes, helmets and hearing protections permits to reduce the risk of serious injuries.

Avoid accidental activation of the tool. Make sure the switch is in the OFF position, before you connect the tool to the

mains. Holding the tool with a ﬁ nger on the switch or connecting an electric tool when the switch is in the ON position may lead

to serious injuries.

Before you turn an electric tool on remove all the spanners and other tools, which have been used for adjustments. A

spanner left on rotating elements of the tool may lead to serious injuries.

Keep your balance. Maintain an appropriate position. It will permit to control the electric tool in case of unpredicted situations

during its operation.

Use protective clothes. Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothes and gloves away from moving

elements of the electric tool. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair may get caught on moving elements of the tool.

Use dust extractors or dust containers, if the tool is equipped with any. Make sure they are properly connected. Using of

dust extractors permits to reduce the risk of serious injuries.

Operation of the electric tool

Do not overload the electric tool. Use a proper tool for the given purpose. A correct selection of the tool for the given work

will result in a more eﬃ cient and safer work.

Do not use the electric tool if the switch is not functioning properly. A tool which may not be controlled by means of a switch

is dangerous and must be repaired.

Disconnect the plug from the mains socket before any adjustment, replacement of accessories or storage of the tool. It

will permit to avoid accidental activation of the electric tool.

Store the tool away from children. Do not allow untrained persons to operate the tool. An electric tool may be dangerous

in hands of an untrained person.

Make sure the tool is properly maintained. Check the tool in order to detects any unﬁ tting or loose moving elements.

Check whether the elements of the tool are not damaged. In case any damaged elements of the tool are detected, they

must be repaired before the electric tool is operated. Many accidents are caused by improper maintenance of tools.

Cutting tools must be sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools are easier to control during work.

Use electric tools and accessories in accordance with the aforementioned instructions. Use the tool in accordance with

its purpose, taking into account the kind and conditions of work. Should the tool be used for other applications than the ones

it has been designed for, the risk of a dangerous situation increases.

Repairs

The tool may be repaired only by authorised service centres, which must use solely original spare parts. It will guarantee

a proper level of safety of operation of the electric tool.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Keep safe distance between body parts and blades of the tool. Do not remove material that was cut and do not hold the

material to be cut when blades are working. Make sure that the switch is in OFF position before solving the problem of

blades jamming. Even a moment of inattention during operation of hedge trimmer may lead to serious injuries.

Carry the trimmer only by holding its handle and when blades are stopped. During transport or storage of hedge trimmer

always put on the blade cover. Proper carrying of trimmer reduces the risk of injuries.

Keep the cable away from cutting blades. During the work, a cable may be hidden in branches so it is possible to cut it accidentally.

During the work, the tool may be held with insulated handles, since cutting blade may be in contact with a hidden cable. Cutting

blade being in contact with a live wire can make that also metal parts of the tool will be exposed to voltage which may cause an

electric shock of the operator.

PRODUCT HANDLING

Trimmer preparation to work

Note! Prior to any assembly and adjustment operations disconnect the trimmer from power supply. Dismantle the battery from

the socket of power tool!

Before ﬁ rst use mount both parts of the trimmer.

Make sure that blades have been protected by sliding over the guide rail. Lift the clamp lever (II), and then slide the part with a

switch into a clamp of the part with blades. If clips placed on the switch cover are visible in clamp’s slot this indicates that the con-

nection may be protected by lowering the clamp lever (II). Make sure the trimmer parts would not disconnect during operation.

Before connecting the trimmer to mains check its technical condition. If any damages are found, it is forbidden to connect the

trimmer to power source before removal of damages.

Adjustment operations

Setting the length of device is possible upon pulling the lock lever (III) and then adjusting the length of the device and clamping the

lock lever. Smooth adjustment of length of the device is possible to the extent restricted by movement limiters.

Behind the front handle there is a clamp that allows attaching the carrying strap, second clip is located on the cover nearby the

switch. Clip of carrying strap should be attached to clamp and clip (IV) so that the clip lock protects the tool against accidental

release during operation.

The strap should be put on in such a way that it leans on one shoulder and then obliquely entangles the operator’s chest allowing

attachment of the device at the height of hips (V).

Preparation of work place

Before the start of cutting with the trimmer, properly prepare the work place to minimize the risk of hazards that are associated with

the work with trimmer. Make sure that only authorised persons stay within the area of work place.

Make sure there is good visibility at the place of work, and be particularly careful when working under diﬃ cult ﬁ eld conditions, e.g.

on a sloped terrain.

It is forbidden to start the work during atmospheric precipitations and in case of high air humidity, e.g. fog.

Put on protective clothing and personal safety equipment.

Avoid cutting wires, young trees and wooden beams.

Take into account that branches that have been cut and plant residues while falling down may rebound or be clogged up between

other branches. Prepare the escape route in case of a risk of falling branches or plant residues. The escape route should be free

from any obstacles also in the course of work. If in the course of work obstacles emerge along the escape route, they should be

removed before re-staring the work.

Due to possibility of work with extension arm, make sure that a trimmer does not get in contact with power, telephone lines etc.

Cutting or hooking such line may result in electric shock.

Adjustment of angle of cutting head (VI)

Trimmer’s cutting head is capable of tilting towards the grip handle. This facilitates e.g. forming the upper part of the hedge.

Change of angle of cutting head is possible after pressing both lock buttons at the same time, holding them down and then

changing the angle. The head may be locked in few positions. Make sure that the head was locked in new position, and both lock

buttons returned to stand-by position.

Connecting the tool to power supply (VII)

Plug the battery to mains with contacts inside the tool and upward, until battery latches are tripped. Make sure the battery would

not slip oﬀ during operation.

Disconnect the battery by pressing both latches and then slip the battery oﬀ from the cover of the device.

Starting the trimmer (VIII)

Remove the cover of trimmer’s blades.

Grab the trimmer with your two hands, one hand holding front handle, the other one holding rear handle.

Make sure that blades are not touching any object and the surface.

Press and hold down with your ﬁ nger the switch lock button located at the grip handle.

Press the switch and hold it in this position. Lock button may be released.

Before you start cutting wait till the engine reaches full speed and make sure that blades operate smoothly. In case any suspicious

sounds or vibrations are detected, immediately stop the device by releasing the switch.

ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS

Switching oﬀ the device is done by releasing the pressure onto the switch.

After blades stop, the device should be disconnected from power supply and subject to maintenance.

Working with trimmer

Do not let the device operate with low rotational speed or during the start.

The work is most eﬀ ective, when cutting is done by making full and wide movements. For higher eﬃ ciency you may tilt the blades

at 5 - 10O angle in direction of cutting (IX).

To have even height of the hedge you may use a string stretched along the line of cutting. Cut the part of hedge above the string.

Vertical cutting of hedge is possible. It is recommended to cut moving the trimmer from the bottom to the top, and then from the

top to the bottom to utilize two sides of blades (X).

Useful tips when working

Take care of your balance and proper posture during work. Pay special attention during work on slippery, sloped or uneven

ground.

Observe blades continuously during work. Cutting in places out of sight should not be carried out.

Before the work thoroughly inspect the work place and remove any loose branches and residues after previous cutting. Be par-

ticularly careful when processing high hedges. Before the work inspect also other side of the hedge.

The cover of trimmer’s gear becomes hot during work. To prevent scald, avoid any contact with gear’s cover.

During work make regular brakes. While operating, the device emits noise and vibrations, that aﬀ ect the operator of the equip-

ment. Making regular brakes and use of personal safety equipment such as gloves, ear and eye protectors allow reducing any

eﬀ ect of device operation on operator’s physical condition.

Start the work when you are in good health conditions and ﬁ t. In case of occurrence of sickness, headache, vision disorder (e.g.

reduced ﬁ eld of view), hearing disorder, dizziness, immediately stop the work with the device.

In case of trimmer jamming in the course of work, switch it oﬀ immediately using a switch and disconnect the battery, wait until

trimmer components cool down completely, and then start removing the cause of jamming.

If in the course of jamming any element of blades or cover is damaged or deformed, replace it or repair it, before continuing the

work.

Safety recommendations for battery loading

Attention! Before loading may start make sure the body of the charger, the cable and the plug are not broken or damaged. It

is prohibited to use a damaged loading dock and charger! For the purpose of loading batteries only the charging dock and the

charger provided may be used. Using another charger may be a cause of ﬁ re or damage the tool. Batteries may be charged only

in a dry room, protected from unauthorised persons, particularly children. Do not use the charging dock and the charger without

permanent supervision of an adult! If it is necessary to leave the room where loading is taking place, it is required to disconnect the

charger from the mains, removing the charger from the mains socket. In case when smoke comes out of the charger, or a strange

smell is emitted, etc., it is required to immediately remove the plug of the charger from the mains socket!

The drill and automatic return screwdriver is provided with an unloaded battery, so before work may commence, it is required

to charge it following the procedure below, using the charger and charging dock provided. Li-ION batteries do not show the so

called “memory eﬀ ect”, so it is allowed to charge them at any moment. However, it is recommended to discharge them during

normal work, and then load them to their full capacity. If due to the nature of the task it is not possible to do so each time, then it

is required to do it at least from time to time. Under no circumstances is it allowed to discharge the batteries short-circuiting the

electrodes, since this would cause irreversible damage! It is also prohibited to check the load of the batteries, short-circuiting the

electrodes for sparking.

Storage of the battery

In order to prolong the life of the battery, it is required to provide adequate storage conditions. The batteries can go through ap-

proximately 500 „loading - discharging” cycles. The battery must be stored between 0 and 30°C, at the relative humidity of 50%. In

order to store the battery for a prolonged period, it is required to charge it to approximately 70% of its capacity. In case of prolonged

storage, it is required to recharge the battery once a year. Do not permit excessive discharging of the battery, since this would

reduce its life and may cause irreversible damage.

During storage, the battery will be gradually unloading due to leakage conductance. The process of automatic unloading depends

on the temperature of storage, since the higher the temperature, the fastest the process. In case of incorrect storage of batteries,

there is a danger of electrolyte leakage. In case of leakage, it is required protect the leakage with neutralizing agent. In case of

contact of electrolyte with the eyes, it is required to rinse the eyes abundantly, and then immediately seek medical assistance. It

is prohibited to use a tool with a damaged battery.

In case the battery is completely worn out, it is required to deposit it at a special point dedicated to disposal of such waste.

Transport of the batteries

Lithium-ion batteries are in accordance with legal regulations treated as dangerous waste. The user of the tool may transport the

tool with the battery or only batteries by land. Then no additional conditions must be complied with. In transport is realised by third

parties (for example dispatch through courier service), then it is required to proceed in accordance with regulations for transport

of dangerous materials. Before shipment, contact an authorised person.

It is prohibited to transport damaged batteries. During transport the battery must be removed from the tool, and the exposed

contacts protected, e.g. with insulating tape. Protect the batteries so that they do not move inside the package during transport. It

is also required comply with the national regulations for transport of dangerous materials.

Charging the battery

Attention! Before charging you should disconnect the charger from the mains by unplugging the power supply plug from the mains.

In addition, you should clean the battery and its terminals of dirt and dust with a soft, dry cloth.

The battery has a built-in charge indicator. When you press the button, LEDs will light up (XI), the more LEDs will light up, the more

fully the battery pack is charged. If the button is pressed and the LEDs are oﬀ it means that the battery is discharged.

Disconnect the battery from the tool.

Push the battery in the charger socket (XI).

Plug the charger into a mains socket.

When the red LED lights up, it means the loading process.

When charging is complete, the red LED goes oﬀ , and green LED lights up, indicating a full charge of the battery.

Unplug the charger from the mains outlet.

Attention! If, when the charger is connected to the power supply, the green LED is on, this indicates a fully charged battery. In this

case, the charger does not start charging.

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Note! Prior to any action described below disconnect the trimmer from the power source. Tools supplied from mains should be

unplugged, for battery driven tools, the battery should be disconnected.

After each use, check the condition of the tool paying particular attention to patency of ventilation slots.

Check the position of all tool components. Possibly tighten any loose bolted connection. Check the condition of blades. Clean

them with a brush and then preserve using lubricant agent in spray. The excess of lubricant agent to be wiped out. In case of any

damages or blade blunting, replace them in an authorised service point.

It is forbidden to use trimmer with damaged blades.

Take care that the blades are always lubricated. This will prevent corrosion which lowers the capacity of a tool, and may also

increase the risk of injuries. The clearance between blades should be between 0.2 and 0.4 mm counted at the location of screw

bonding two blades.

Blades are sharpened in the factory in order to attain the optimum capacity of operation, but they become blunt due to work. Prior

to each job check the condition of blades. If the upper edge of blade becomes round or rounding of lower part of the blade disap-

pears, you need to have blades sharpened (XII). Sharpening should be carried out in manufacturer’s authorised service point.

Before storing the trimmer for a longer period of time, spray the blades with preserving ﬂ uid or distribute it along blades using a

brush. The excess of preserving ﬂ uid remove immediately before the work. Such maintenance will reduce the risk of blade cor-

rosion.

The tool housing should be cleaned using a soft dry cloth. The housing should be cleaned from wooden residues, oil, lubricant and

other dirt. The device to be stored in dry, contained room, disconnected from mains.

The device should be stored in a shaded, dry places equipped with proper ventilation preventing condensation of steam. The

place should be inaccessible for third parties, children in particular. When storing, the guide rail and chain should always be

protected by cover.

Die Heckenschere ist zum Schneiden und Formen von Strausskronen sowie zum Schneiden von dünnen Ästen bestimmt. Mit

einem zusätzlichen Ausleger ist auch das Formen von recht hohen Hecken möglich. Aufgrund des Elektroantriebes fällt der Be-

trieb der Heckenschere wesentlich leiser als bei einem kraftbetriebenen Werkzeug aus, sodass die Arbeiten in der Gebäudenähe

möglich sind. Mithilfe des Akkuantriebes kann an den für netzabhängige Werkzeuge unzugänglichen Stellen gearbeitet werden.

Der korrekte, zuverlässige und sichere Werkzeugbetrieb setzt eine fachmännische Bedienung voraus, deshalb:

diese Anleitung vor Arbeitsbeginn gründlich lesen und sicher aufbewahren.

Der Lieferant kann nicht für Schäden haftbar gemacht werden, die infolge der Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitsvorschriften und der

ALLGEMEINE SICHERHEITSBEDINGUNGEN

ACHTUNG! Die nachstehenden Anweisungen durchlesen. Die Nichteinhaltung der nachstehenden Anweisungen kann einen

elektrischen Schlag, Brand oder Körperverletzungen führen. Der Begriﬀ „Elektrowerkzeug” bezieht sich auf alle mit dem elek-

trischen Strom angetriebenen Werkzeuge sowohl mit der Netzleitung als auch ohne Netzleitung.

DIE NACHSTEHENDEN ANWEISUNGEN EINHALTEN!

Arbeitsplatz

Der Arbeitsplatz soll gut beleuchtet sein und In der Sauberkeit gehalten werden. Das Durcheinander und nicht ausreichende

Beleuchtung können Arbeitsunfälle verursachen.

ORIGINALANLEITUNG

Die Elektrowerkzeuge dürfen in der Umgebung mit erhöhter Explosionsgefahr, oder brennbaren Flüssigkeiten Gasen

oder Dunste nicht verwendet werden. Die Elektrowerkzeuge erzeugen Funken, die in Berührung mit brennbaren Gasen oder

Dunsten Brand verursachen können.

Kindern und unbefugte Personen fern von dem Arbeitsplatz halten. Die Konzentrationsschwäche kann zum Verlieren des

Beherrschens über dem Werkzeug führen.

Elektrische Sicherheit

Leitungsstecker muss an die Netzsteckdose passen. Der Stecker darf nicht modiﬁ ziert werden. Keine Adapter zur An-

passung des Leitungssteckers an die Netzsteckdose verwenden. Der nicht modiﬁ zierte Leitungsstecker, der genau an die

Netzsteckdose passt vermindert die Gefahr des elektrischen Schlages.

Den Kontakt mit geerdeten Flächen wie Rohre, Heizkörper, Kühlschränke vermeiden. Die Körpererdung erhöht das Ri-

siko des elektrischen Schlages. Die Elektrowerkzeuge dürfen dem Einﬂ uss von atmosphärischen Niederschlägen oder

Der Feuchtigkeit nicht ausgesetzt werden. Wasser und Feuchtigkeit, die in das Innere des Elektrowerkzeuges eindringen,

erhöhen die Gefahr des elektrischen Schlages.

Den Netzkabel nicht überlasten. Die Netzkabel nicht zum Tragen, Abschalten und Einschalten des Leitungssteckers zum

Netzsteckdose verwenden. Den Kontakt des Leitungskabels mit der Wärme, Öl, scharfen Kanten und beweglichen Teilen

vermeiden. Beschädigung des Leitungskabels erhöht die Gefahr des elektrischen Schlages.

Be idem Einsatz außerhalb der geschlossener Räumen sollen für Außen geeignete Verlängerungsschnüre verwendet

werden. Die Verwendung der geeigneten Verlängerungsschnüre vermindert die Gefahr des elektrischen Schlages.

In dem Fall, wenn der Einsatz des Elektrowerkzeuges in einem feuchten Umfeld unvermeidlich ist, dann muss man als

Schutz vor der Spannung der Stromversorgung ein Diﬀ erentialstromgerät (RCD) verwenden. Die Anwendung des RCD

verringert das Risiko eines elektrischen Stromschlags.

Personensicherheit

Dei Arbeit soll bei guter körperlicher und geistlicher Verfassung ausgeführt werden. Immer darauf achten was gemacht

wird. Die Arbeit darf nicht bei der Ermündung oder unter Einﬂ uss von Alkohol oder Medikamenten ausgeführt werden.

Sogar eine momentane Unaufmerksamkeit während der Arbeit kann zu ernsthaften Körperverletzungen führen.

Die persönlichen Schutzmittel verwenden. Immer die Schutzbrille tragen. Die Verwendung von persönlichen Schutzmitteln

wie Staubmasken, Schutzschuhe, Helme und Gehörschutz vermindern die Gefahr der ernsthaften Körperverletzungen.

Das zufällige Einschalten des Elektrowerkzeuges vermeiden. Bitte prüfen ob der Schalter in der Stellung „AUS” steht

bevor das Elektrowerkzeug an das elektrische Netz angeschlossen wird. Das Halten der Finger auf dem Schalter oder

Anschluss des Elektrowerkzeuges bei dem eingeschalteten Schalter kann zu ernsthaften Körperverletzungen führen.

Vor Einschalten des Elektrowerkzeuges sollen alle Schlüssel und Werkzeuge entfernt werden, die zur Einstellung ver-

wendet worden waren. Der an den beweglichen Teilen des Werkzeuges hintergelassene Schlüssel kann ernsthafte Körperver-

letzungen herbeiführen.

Gleichgewicht halten. Durch die ganze Zeit entsprechende Arbeitsstellung einnehmen. Dadurch lässt sich das Elektrowerk-

zeug in den unerwarteten Notfällen bei der Arbeit leichter beherrschen.

Schutzkleidung tragen. Keine lose Kleidung oder Schmuck tragen. Haare, Kleidung und Arbeitshandschuhe fern von

den beweglichen Teilen des Elektrowerkzeuges halten. Lose Kleidung, Schmuck oder lange Haare können an die bewegliche

Teile des Elektrowerkzeuges anhaken.

Staubabsaugung oder Staubbehälter verwenden falls das Werkzeug damit ausgestattet wird. Bitte sorgen Sie dafür

damit sie sachgemäß angeschlossen sind. Verwendung der Staubabsaugung vermindert die Gefahr der ernsthaften Körper-

verletzungen.

Verwendung des Elektrowerkzeuges

Das Elektrowerkzeug nicht überlasten. Das zur ausführende Aufgabe geeignete Werkzeug verwenden. Entsprechende

Auswahl des Werkzeuges gewährleistet eine leistungsfähige und sichere Arbeit.

Das Werkzeug darf nicht verwendet werden, falls der Netzschalter nicht funktioniert. Das Werkzug, welches sich mit dem

Schalter nicht kontrollieren lässt, ist gefährlich und soll zur Reparatur geliefert werden.

Den Leitungsstecker von der Netzsteckdose herausziehen wenn das Werkzeug eingestellt oder Zubehör ausgetauscht

bzw. das Werkzeug aufbewahrt wird. Dadurch wird das zufällige Einschalten des Elektrowerkzeuges vermieden.

Das Elektrowerkzeug vor den Zutritt von Kindern schützen. Die bei der Bedienung des Werkzeuges nicht eingeschulten

Personen dürfen das Werkzeug nicht verwenden. Das Elektrowerkzeug kann in den Händen der nicht geschulten Personen

gefährlich sein.

Entsprechende Instandhaltung des Werkzeuges gewährleisten. Das Werkzeug auf nicht eingepasste Teile und Spiele

der beweglichen Teile prüfen. Bitte überprüfen, ob irgendein Bestandteil des Werkzeuges nicht beschädigt ist. Die Stö-

rungen sollen vor dem Einsatz des Werkzeugen beseitigt werden. Viele Unfälle sind durch nicht sachgemäße Instandhaltung

des Werkzeuges verursacht.

Schneidewerkzeugen sollten sauber und geschärft sein. Sachgemäß geschärfte Schneidenwerkzeuge lassen sich besser

während der Arbeit kontrollieren.

Dei Elektrowerkzeuge und Zubehör gemäß der vorstehenden Anweisungen benutzen. Die Werkzeuge entsprechend der

Aufgabe und die Arbeitsbedingungen einsetzen. Die nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung des Werkzeuges kann das

Risiko der Gefahren erhöhen.

Instandsetzungen

Die Werkzeuge sollen nur in den autorisierten Werkstätten bei der Verwendung der Originalersatzteile repariert werden.

Dadurch wird die entsprechende Arbeitssicherheit des Elektrowerkzeuges gewährleistet.

ZUSÄTZLICHE SICHERHEITSANWEISUNGEN

Sicherheitsabstand der Körperteile vom Werkzeugmesser einhalten. Schnittmaterial beim Messerbetrieb nicht entfernen,

Heckenäste beim Schneiden nicht halten. Vor der Reparatur verklemmter Messer sicherstellen, dass der Steuerschalter

ausgeschaltet ist. Bereits eine kurze Unachtsamkeit kann beim Heckenscherenbetrieb zu ernsthaften Verletzungen führen.

Heckenschere zum Tragen nur bei still gesetztem Messer an den Handgriﬀ en halten. Messerbalken vor Transport und

Lagerung mit dem Messerschutz ausrüsten. Dadurch werden Körperverletzungen minimiert.

Stromkabel fern vom Messerbalken halten. Beim Betrieb kann sich das Kabel in den Ästen wickeln, sodass es unerwartet

geschnitten werden kann.

Werkzeug beim Betrieb immer an isolierten Handriﬀ en halten, weil das Messer das außer Sicht beﬁ ndliche Kabel schnei-

den kann. Berührt das Messer das unter Spannung stehende Kabel, stehen Metallteile des Werkzeuges dadurch unter Span-

nung, sodass der elektrische Schlag des Bedieners herbeigeführt werden kann.

GERÄTEBEDIENUNG

Heckenschere für den Einsatz vorbereiten

Heckenschere vor jeglichen Montageeingriﬀ en und Einstellungen von der Versorgungsspannung trennen. Akku vom Werkzeug

demontieren!

Beide Messerkomponenten vor Erstgebrauch montieren.

Sicherstellen, dass die Messer mit der aufgesetzten Führung geschützt sind. Hebel der Halterung (II) heben, anschließend Steu-

erschalterteil in die Messerhalterung einführen. Sind Verschlüsse im Steuerschalterteil sichtbar, kann die Verbindung geschlos-

sen werden, indem der Halterungshebel (II) losgelassen wird. Sicherstellen, dass sich die Messerteile nicht beim Betrieb lösen.

Vor elektrischem Anschluss ist die Heckenschere auf die Beschaﬀ enheit zu prüfen. Werden Schäden festgestellt, ist es verboten,

die Heckenschere elektrisch anzuschließen, ohne dass die Schäden beseitigt werden.

Einstellungen

Die Werkzeuglänge wird eingestellt, indem der Sperrhebel (III) gezogen wird. Nach erfolgter Einstellung ist der Sperrhebel loszu-

lassen. Eine stufenlose Einstellung der Werkzeuglänge ist im Bereich zwischen den Bewegungsanschlägen möglich.

Hinter dem vorderen Handgriﬀ und am Gehäuse in der Nähe des Steuerschalters beﬁ nden sich Tragegurthalterungen. Der Trage-

gurthaken ist an der Halterung (IV) mit der Halterungssperre so zu montieren, dass das Werkzeug damit gegen das unerwartete

Lösen beim Einsatz gesichert ist.

Der Tragegurt ist so anzulegen, dass es am Rücken und tangential an der Brust des Bedieners verläuft, um die Befestigung des

Werkzeuges in der Hüftenhöhe (V) zu ermöglichen.

Einsatzﬂäche vorbereiten

Vor dem Heckenschereneinsatz ist der künftige Arbeitsbereich vorzubereiten, um jegliche Gefahren zu verhindern, die beim

Werkzeugeinsatz auftreten können. Sicherstellen, dass nur Befugte sich im Arbeitsbereich aufhalten.

Am Einsatzort ist für gute Sichtverhältnisse zu sorgen, deshalb muss man bei den Arbeiten unter schwierigen Geländeverhältnis-

sen, bspw. auf Geländeneigungen, besonders vorsichtig vorgehen.

Der Einsatz ist bei Regen oder bei hoher Luftfeuchte, wie Nebel, untersagt.

Schutzkleidung sowie persönliche Schutzausrüstungen bei der Arbeit tragen.

Das Schneiden von Drähten, jungen Bäumen und Holzbalken ist untersagt.

Es ist darauf zu achten, dass das Schneidmaterial sowie Pﬂ anzenreste gegen andere Äste schlagen und dort sich verklemmen

können. Bei Gefahr durch abstürzende Äste oder Pﬂ anzenreste ist ein Fluchtweg vorzubereiten, der auch bei der Arbeit frei von

Behinderungen sein muss. Jegliche Behinderungen, die während der Arbeit auf dem Fluchtweg vorkommen, sind rechtzeitig zu

entfernen.

Da das Werkzeug mit einem Ausleger betrieben werden kann, ist eine eventuelle Berührung der Starkstrom-, Telefonkabel usw.

zu achten. In diesem Fall muss man mit einem elektrischen Schlag rechnen.

Messerbalken im Winkel einstellen (VI)

Der Messerbalken der Hakenschere kann im Neigungswinkel zum Handgriﬀ eingestellt werden. Damit können obere Heckenbe-

reiche bspw. geformt werden.
