Before getting started, please read the followingimportant safety
precautions.
1. The GOT-5571TL-621 does not come equippedwith an
operating system. An operatingsystemmust be loadedfirst
before installing anysoftware into the computer.
2. Be sure to groundyourself to prevent static charge when
installing the internal components. Use a grounding wrist
strap andplace all electronic components in any
static-shielded devices. Most electronic components are
sensitive to static electricalcharge.
3. Disconnect the power cord fromthe GOT-5571TL-621 before
anyinstallation.Be sure both the systemand external
devices are turned OFF. A suddensurge ofpower could ruin
sensitive components that the GOT-5571TL-621 must be
properlygrounded.
4. The brightness ofthe flat panel displaywill be getting weaker
as a resultoffrequent usage. However, the operating period
varies depending on the application environment.
5. Turn OFF the systempower before cleaning. Clean the
systemusing a cloth only.Do not sprayanyliquid cleaner
directlyonto the screen. The GOT-5571TL-621 maycome
with or w/o a touch screen. Although the touch screen is
chemical resistant, it is recommended that you spraythe
liquid cleaner onaclothfirst before wipingthescreen.Incase
yoursystemcomes withoutthetouch screen, youmust follow
the same procedure andnot sprayanycleaner on the flat
panel directly.
6. Avoidusing sharpobjects to operate the touch screen.
Scratches onthetouchscreen maycause malfunction or
internal failureto the touch screen.
7. The flat paneldisplayis notsusceptible to shockor vibration.
When assemblingthe GOT-5571TL-621, make sure it is
securelyinstalled.
8. Do notopenthesystem sbackcover. Ifopeningthecover for
maintenance is a must, onlya trained technician is allowed to
do so. Integratedcircuits on computer boards aresensitive to
static electricity. To avoid damaging chips fromelectrostatic
discharge, observe the followingprecautions:

lBefore handling a board or integrated circuit, touch an
unpainted portion ofthe systemunit chassis for a few
seconds. This will help to discharge anystatic electricity
on your body.
lWhen handling boards and components, wear a
wrist-grounding strap, available frommost electronic
component stores.

The GOT-5571TL-621 is a5.7”fanless TFT VGAtouchpanelcomputer.
It is equippedwith CISC-based lowpower consumptionprocessor,
AMD LX800.
Bysupporting theoptionofexternalbatteryset,theGOT-5571TL-621
can continuesystemoperation ifa main power shortage ever happens.
In addition, thePC/104andMini-PCI slotsarereservedfor expansion
availability.
The GOT-5571TL-621 supportsCompactFlash card and is thebest
choice for applications of factoryautomation, machinerymaker,
building automation and semi-conductor.

the GOT-5571TL-621 10/100 Base-T Hub into the standard RJ-45
