INDICATION FOR USE
This electrical massage device is intended to massage the back and thighs. Massages can be both relaxing and
stimulating. This device massages with the aid of 3 vibration motors and offers a wide range of setting options.
The car adapter supplied enables the seat cover to also be used in the car. The massage seat cover has to be
used when placed on a suitable seating surface. Please do not place a cover over it.
The device is only for private use and is not intended for medical or commercial purposes.

• Do not use any AC-Adapter/Car adapter other than
the one supplied with the unit.
• Always unplug this product immediately after use
and make sure it is not accessible to children.
• Do not place or store product where it can fall or
be pulled into a bathtub, sink, water, or other liq-
uid. Risk of electric shock.
• Do not use this product while bathing, showering,
washing dishes, or close to water sources of any

• Do not place device in or drop into water or other
liquid. Do not allow any water to be sprayed onto
the unit. The unit must be operated only when it is

• Before you clean the unit, always switch it off, un-
plug it and let it cool off.
• This product should never be left unattended when
plugged in.
• Do not pull the AC-Adapter from the power outlet
by the cord. Always grasp the AC-Adapter housing
and unplug it. Failure to do so could result in risk of
electric shock, short circuiting, or fire.
• Do not carry this appliance by supply cord or use
cord as handle.
• Do not pinch or bend the power cord or pull it over
sharp objects. This can cause an electric shock.
• The unit and the AC-Adapter/Car adapter must be
protected and stored away from sources of heat.
(e.g. stoves, heating radiators)
• The AC-Adapter has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not modify the plug in any way. Do not attempt to
manipulate this safety feature.
• Do not use extension cords, multi-sockets and/
or voltage converters when using the AC-Adapter.
WARNING:
• Using the unit is not a substitute for consultation
with or treatment from a physician. Whenever you
have any pain, illness or discomfort, always con-
tact your physician first. If you have an emergency
please call 911 immediately.
• If you start feeling any discomfort, pain, drowsi-
ness or other change in your condition, stop using
the unit immediately. For medical advice please
contact a licensed physician. If you have an emer-
gency please call 911 immediately.
• Never use this product while in bed.
• This device is not intended to be used by persons
with restricted physical (e.g. activity limitations,
disabilities), sensory (e.g. insensitivity to pain) or
mental disabilities (e.g. mental disorders) or per-
sons lacking the required experience or knowledge
for safe operation of the device, unless closely su-
pervised by a person responsible for their safe-
ty. NEVER LEAVE THOSE WHO REQUIRE CLOSE
SUPERVISION UNATTENDED WITH THIS DEVICE.
• This product contains small parts that may present
a choking hazard to children. Keep all small parts
out of reach of children. The power cord also pres-
ents a strangulation hazard. NEVER LEAVE CHIL-
DREN OR THOSE WHO REQUIRE CLOSE SUPER-
VISION UNATTENDED WITH THIS DEVICE.

dren and can cause suffocation. Remove all pack-

these instructions for use. Any improper use can

• Do not operate the unit in the presence of flam-
mable gases, oxygen and aerosol spray products.
Non-compliance may result in e.g. fire, burns, ex-
plosions, etc.
• Before using the AC-Adapter/Car adapter, check
the data tag sewn onto the side of the massager
to ensure that the voltage and wattage indicated
on the unit correspond to the voltage and watt-
age available.
• The massage seat cover must only be used with
suitable Beurer accessories. The use of other ac-
cessories may damage the device and can impair
it’s usage.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
• This unit is not intended for commercial or clinical
use, but only for private household use!
• Lay the power cord in such a way that no one can
trip over it. There is a danger of injury due to e.g.
stumbling, tripping, falling down.
• When cleaning, ensure that all residues are re-
moved. Never use any substances that may be
poisonous upon contact with the skin or mucous
membranes.
NOTICE:
• Protect the unit or the parts from strong impacts
such as dropping the unit on the floor.
• Never open or attempt to repair the unit yourself.
Failure to observe this regulation shall void the war-
ranty.
• Ensure that no water penetrates inside the unit!
Never immerse the unit in water or any other liq-
uid. Never hold the complete device under running
water to clean it. Otherwise liquid can enter it and
cause damage.
• Do not put the device or accessories in a dish-
washer, washing machine or tumble dryer.
• Store the device and accessories in a location pro-
tected against environmental influences, i.e. in a
safe and dry location. Do not expose the device
and accessories to direct sunlight, extreme hot or
cold temperatures or humidity (e.g. in the bath-
room).
• Protect the unit against dust, dirt and moisture.
This may damage the device.
• Do not use any aggressive solvents, cleaning
agents, detergents or any other strong chemicals
to clean the device.

• Dispose of the device, components and optional
accessories according to applicable local regula-
tions. Unlawful disposal may cause environmen-
tal pollution.

sage and air. Please read these instructions completely
and carefully before using this product and keep them
for later reference. Be sure to make them accessible to
other users and observe the information they contain.

4. Important information on the
device
WARNING:
• The massage seat cover must only be used with
suitable Beurer accessories. The use of other ac-
cessories may damage the device and can impair
it’s usage.
• Use of the massage device is prohibited in the fol-
lowing cases:
– not with changes caused by disease or injury in the
back region (e.g. disc problems, open wounds),
– any health issues,
– not on children,
– not during pregnancy,
– never while you sleep,
– not on animals,
– not during activities during which an unexpected
reaction may be dangerous,
– not while ingesting substances that reduce reac-
tion times (e.g. painkiller medications, alcohol),
– never longer than 20 minutes (risk of overheat-
ing) and allow it to cool off for at least 15 minutes
before using it again.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (in-
cluding children) with restricted physical, sensory
or mental disabilities and/or by persons lacking the
required understanding of the equipment and how
it is used, unless they are supervised by a person
who is responsible for their safety or they are given
instructions on how to use the device.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not use the device as a toy.
• The device has a relatively hot surface. Persons
who are sensitive to heat must be careful when
using the device.
• You should consult your doctor before using the
massage device if:
– you suffer from a serious illness or are recovering
from an operation on the upper body, buttocks
or thighs.
– you are fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, implant
or other aid,
– Thromboses,
– Diabetes,
– in case of pains of unclarified origin.

This device is solely intended for massaging the
backs and legs of human beings. It cannot replace
medical treatment. Do not use the massage device
if any of the following warnings apply to you.
The device is only intended for the purpose de-
scribed in these operating instructions. The manu-
facturer cannot be held liable for damage occurring
as a result of inappropriate or careless use.

6. Initial use
WARNING:
• Packaging materials are a deadly hazard for chil-

• Use the unit only on human beings and for its in-
tended purpose and in the manner described in
these instructions for use. Any improper use can
be dangerous!
• Do not subject the device to any impact and do
not drop it.
• Do not use the device if damage is evident to the
device itself or any of its accessories.
• Connect the power supply unit and car adapter to
the seat cover using the connector.
• Route the cable safely so that there is no risk of
anyone tripping over it.
Before first use
• Remove all packaging materials. Ensure that the
packaging materials are disposed of properly due
to risk of suffocation.
• Position the seat cover on a suitable seating sur-
face (chair, sofa, or similar). Ensure that the seat
cover is supported over its entire area and has a
sufficiently high backrest.
• In order to secure the seat cover, use the flexible
tie straps if necessary.
• Connect the power supply unit to the seat cover
using the connector.
• Plug in the power supply to the wall outlet.
7. Operation
DANGER:
• Never touch the unit, including the AC-Adapter/Car
adapter, with wet hands while it is plugged in. This
can cause an electric shock.
• Do not pull the AC-Adapter from the power outlet
by the cord. Always grasp the AC-Adapter housing

Operating the device with the AC-Adapter
Plug the AC-Adapter (item 3 from picture above) only
into a 120 Volt AC wall outlet only.
• Ensure that there is a power outlet near to where
the device will be used.
• Insert the power supply into a suitable power outlet.
• Push the plug completely into the power outlet.
• To disconnect the massage seat cover from the
power source after use, first switch off the device
before removing the AC-Adapter (item 3 from pic-
ture above) from the outlet.
WARNING:
Never have a massage with the massage seat
cover while you are driving a car yourself.
The massage, as well as the device setting, distracts
you from the road traffic. Your attention to the road
traffic must never be impaired by the device. There-
fore only use this device as a passenger or if you
take a break and the vehicle is stationary. Please
note that if the engine is off the battery can discharge
under certain circumstance. For some vehicles the
12 V jack only works when the engine is on.
A massage with this seat cover can be very relaxing
and regenerating while taking breaks.
Operating the device with car adapter
The massage seat cover can also be used in the car
with the car adapter supplied. Plug the car adapter
connector plug into the connection jack on the de-
vice. Plug the car adapter into the cigarette lighter
jack or an alternative 12V jack. (e.g. trunk). Operation
proceeds as described above.
How to use
Before use, ensure the device and accessories are
at room temperature.

• Sit comfortably on the seat cover. Take care that
you sit centered and your body is in good even
contact with the seat cover.
• Switch on the massage device with the MASSAGE
button. The massage intensity is preset to level 1.
Press the MASSAGE button again to increase the
massage intensity to level 2. Press the MASSAGE
button again to switch off the unit.
• The automatic switch-off function is activated by
starting the massage and is preset to 20 minutes.
• Press the HEAT button to switch the heat function
in the lumbar region on and off.
• Do not use the massage device for longer than
20 minutes. The massage can be finished at any
time by pressing the MASSAGE button.
• After the massage is finished, disconnect the de-
vice from the power outlet.
8. Cleaning
DANGER:
• Before you clean the unit, always switch it off, un-
plug it and let it cool off.
• Never touch the unit, including the AC-Adapter/Car
adapter, with wet hands while it is plugged in. This
can cause an electric shock.
WARNING:
• Only clean the appliance in the manner specified.
Fluid must never be allowed to enter into the device
or accessories.
• Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
• When cleaning, ensure that all residues are removed.
Never use any substances that may be poisonous
upon contact with the skin or mucous membranes.
NOTICE:

Then you can clean it with a cloth which is no more
than lightly moistened. You can also use a mild de-
tergent.
9. Storage and Caring for the device

and make sure it is not accessible to children.
• Do not open or disassemble the massage seat
cover. Risk of electric shock. All disassembly and
maintenance of the device must be performed by a
qualified service technician. If you need to have the
unit repaired, please contact our customer service.

customer service.

which could damage the device or cover.

10. Disposal
NOTICE:
• Dispose of the device, components and optional
accessories according to applicable local regula-
tions. Unlawful disposal may cause environmen-
tal pollution.
If you have any questions, please contact the local
authorities responsible for waste disposal.

• The device complies with current specifications with
regard to electromagnetic compatibility and is suitable
for use in all premises, including those designated
for private residential purposes. The radio frequency
emissions of the device are extremely low and in all
probability do not cause any interference with other
devices in the proximity.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

(2) this device must accept any interference received, in-

approved by the manufacturer could void the user’s au-
thority to operate the equipment.

pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio

14. Warranty and Service
Limited Lifetime Warranty For Original
Purchaser
Your Beurer Massage seat cover, Model MG 156, ex-
cluding all enclosed accessories as these require rou-
tine maintenance, is warranted to be free from defects
in materials and workmanship for the life of the prod-
uct under normal conditions of intended use and ser-
vice. This warranty extends only to the original retail
purchaser and does not extend to retailers or subse-
quent owners.
We will, at our option, repair or replace the Beurer
Product, Model MG 156, without charge, for any part
or parts covered by these written warranties. No re-
funds will be given. Repair or replacement is our only
responsibility and your only remedy under this written
warranty. If replacement parts for defective materials
are not available, Beurer reserves the right to make
product substitutions in lieu of repair or replacement.
For warranty service contact our customer service de-
partment at 1-800-536-0366 or at [e-mail] to
provide a description of the problem. If the problem is
deemed to be within the scope of the limited lifetime
warranty, you will be asked to mail the product at your
costs in its original package with proof of purchase,
your name, address and phone number. If the problem
is not deemed to be within the scope of the limited
lifetime warranty, we will provide quotation for repair,
respectively, replacement and return shipping fee.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by
misuse or abuse; accident; failures of the Massage
seat cover, tubing, or accessories; parts or cleaning
solutions; the attachment of unauthorized accesso-
ries; alteration to the product; improper installation;
misapplication; lack of reasonable care with respect
to the product; unauthorized repairs or modifications;
improper use of electrical/power supply; normal wear;
loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or dam-
age of an operating part as a result of failure to comply
with instructions for use or to provide manufacturer’s
recommended maintenance; transit damage; theft;
neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss
of use during the period the product is at a repair facil-
ity or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other
conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of
Beurer. This warranty is void if the product is ever used
in a commercial or business environment. The maxi-
mum liability of Beurer under this warranty is limited to
the purchase price actually paid by the customer for
the product covered by the warranty, as confirmed by
proof of purchase, regardless of the amount of any oth-
er direct or indirect damage suffered by the customer.
This warranty is effective only if the product is pur-
chased and operated in the country in which the prod-
uct is purchased. A product that requires modifica-
tions or adaptation to enable it to operate in any other
country than the country for which it was designed,
manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair
of products damaged by these modifications is not
covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE

4. Información importante acerca
del dispositivo
ADVERTENCIA:
• El asiento masajeador solo debe usarse con ac-
cesorios Beurer adecuados. El uso de otros acce-
sorios puede dañar el dispositivo y causar efec-
tos adversos.
• El uso del dispositivo de masaje está prohibido en
los siguientes casos:
– cuando ocurran cambios a causa de enferme-
dades o lesiones en la región de la espalda (por
ejemplo, problemas de discos o heridas abier-
tas),
– en caso de cualquier otro problema de salud,
– no debe usarse en niños,
– no debe usarse durante el embarazo,
– nunca debe usarse estando dormido,
– no debe usarse en animales,
– no debe usarse durante actividades en las que
una reacción imprevista pueda ser peligrosa,
– no debe usarse durante la ingestión de sustan-
cias que reducen el tiempo de reacción (por
ejemplo, medicamentos para el dolor o alcohol),
– no debe usarse durante más de 20 minutos (por
riesgo de sobrecalentamiento) y debe dejarse
enfriar durante por lo menos 15 minutos antes
de volver a usarse.
• Este dispositivo no debe ser usado por personas
(incluyendo niños) con capacidades físicas, senso-
riales o mentales restringidas, ni por personas que
carezcan de la comprensión necesaria del equipo

7. Funcionamiento

Uso del dispositivo con el adaptador
Enchufe el adaptador de corriente (ver punto 3 del
dibujo anterior) solamente en una toma de pared
de 120 V.
• Asegúresedequehayaunatomaeléctricacerca
de donde colocará el dispositivo.
• Enchufeelcordóneléctricoenunatomaeléctrica
adecuada.
• Introduzcaelenchufecompletamenteenlatoma.
• Para desconectar el asiento masajeador de la co-
rriente eléctrica después de usarlo, apague pri-
mero el dispositivo antes de retirar el adaptador
de corriente (ver punto 3 del dibujo anterior) de la
toma.
ADVERTENCIA:
Nunca use la colchoneta de asiento de masaje
mientras esté conduciendo el vehículo.
De otra manera, tanto el masaje como el ajuste del
aparato distraerán a Vd. del tráfico. Su atención al
tráfico nunca deberá ser restringida por el uso del
aparato. Por esta razón utilice el aparato exclusi-
vamente en el asiento del copiloto o bien detenga
previamente el vehículo. Sírvase observar que even-
tualmente el aparato podría descargar la batería del
vehículo, si el motor está parado. En algunos vehícu-
los el enchufe hembra de 12V funciona solamente
mientras el motor está en marcha.
Uso del dispositivo con el adaptador para el
coche
El masaje proporcionado por esta colchoneta de
asiento tiene un gran efecto relajante y regenerador.
La presente colchoneta de asiento de masaje puede
utilizarse también en el automóvil mediante el adap-
tador para automóviles adjunto. Para este efecto co-
necte el enchufe macho del adaptador para automó-
viles en el enchufe hembra del aparato. Enchufe el
adaptador para automóviles en el enchufe hembra
del encendedor de cigarrillos o en otro enchufe hem-
bra de 12V (por ejemplo, en el maletero). El manejo
tiene lugar como se ha descrito más arriba.
Modo de uso
Antes de usarlo, asegúrese de que el dispositivo y
accesorios estén a temperatura ambiente.
• Siéntese cómodamente en la cubierta del asien-
to. Asegúrese de sentarse en el centro y que el
cuerpo haga contacto uniforme con la cubierta
del asiento.
• Encienda el dispositivo de masaje con el botón
MASSAGE. La intensidad de masaje está ajustada
al nivel 1. Vuelva a presionar el botón MASSAGE
para aumentar la intensidad de masaje al nivel 2.
Después de presionar varias veces, la función de
masaje volverá a apagarse.
• La función de apagado automático se activa al ini-
ciar el masaje y está configurada para 15 minutos.
• Presione el botón HEAT (CALOR) para encender y
apagar la función de calor en la región lumbar.
• No use el dispositivo de masaje durante más de
15 minutos. El masaje puede terminarse en cual-
quier momento al presionar el botón MASSAGE.
• Una vez terminado el masaje, desconecte el dis-
positivo de la corriente eléctrica.
8. Limpieza
PELIGRO:
• Antes de limpiar el dispositivo, siempre apáguelo,
desenchúfelo y deje que se enfríe.
• Nunca toque el dispositivo ni el adaptador para
el automóvil con las manos mojadas mientras es-
tá enchufado; esto puede causar una descarga

Garantía limitada de por vida de la compra
original
Su asiento masajeador Beurer, modelo MG 156, exclu-
yendo todos los accesorios incluidos porque requie-
ren mantenimiento de rutina, está garantizado de es-
tar libre de defectos en los materiales y mano de obra
durante la vida útil del producto bajo las condiciones
normales del uso y servicio propuestos. Esta garantía
se aplica solamente al comprador original y no se ex-
tiende a vendedores minoristas o futuros propietarios.
A nuestra discreción, repararemos o reemplazaremos
el producto Beurer, modelo MG 156, sin cargo adicio-
nal, por cualquier parte o partes cubiertas por esta ga-
rantía escrita. No se harán reembolsos. La reparación o
reemplazo es nuestra única responsabilidad y el único
recurso de usted bajo esta garantía escrita. Si no hay
partes de reemplazo para los materiales defectuosos,
Beurer se reserva el derecho de sustituciones del pro-
ducto en lugar de reparación o remplazo.

xión de algún accesorio no autorizado; alteración del
producto; instalación incorrecta; aplicación errónea;
falta de cuidado razonable con respecto al producto;
reparaciones o modificaciones no autorizadas; uso
indebido de alimentación o energía eléctrica; desgas-
te normal; falta de potencia; producto dejado caer;
mal funcionamiento o daño de una parte operativa
por falta de cumplir con las instrucciones de uso o de
proporcionar el mantenimiento recomendado por el
fabricante; daño en el transporte; robo; negligencia;
vandalismo; condiciones ambientales; pérdida del
uso durante el periodo en que el producto esté en
una instalación de reparación o en espera de partes
o reparación por otra causa; o cualquier condición de
otro tipo que esté fuera del control de Beurer. Esta ga-
rantía no es válida si el producto se usa alguna vez en
un ambiente comercial o de negocio. La máxima res-
ponsabilidad de Beurer bajo esta garantía se limita al
precio de compra pagado realmente por el cliente por
el producto cubierto por la garantía, según se confirme
mediante prueba de compra, independientemente de

que sufra el cliente.
Esta garantía es efectiva solamente si el producto se
compra y usa en el país de compra del producto. Un
