The connection cable on
the service keypad can be
connected to any module
with a service port as shown.
The cable is designed to only
connect in one direction and the
keypad can be connected and
disconnected while the system is
powered up.
It is to be expected that over
time the connection lead and
plugs will wear and replacement
will be necessary.
If you begin experiencing
intermittent connections then
you should replace the leads with
a new set which are available on
request.

To prolong the cable’s serviceability you
should hold the plug rather than
pulling on the wire when removing the
lead from the service port.
In the interest of ongoing product development this
document is subject to change without notice.
Panels with firmware V2.15 and earlier are not able
to display the service keypad inactive message alert
when the system is not in service mode or the control
panel tamper is sealed.
