The Cisco IP Phone 7960
is full-feature
telephone
that
provides
voice
communication
over an IP network The phone
functions
much like traditional
analog
phone allowing
you
to
place
and receive
telephone
calls The phone
also
supports
features such
as
call
forwarding redialing speed
dialing transferring
calls
placing
conference
calls
and
accessing voice
mail
There
are two versions of the
Cisco IP Phone 7960
version that interacts
with
Cisco CallManager
and version based
on Session Initiation
Protocol
SIP
Depending
on
the version
that
you
are
using
certain functions
might
differ
or
not
be
supported
on
your
phone
These differences
are noted in the
documentation
using
these icons
The CMticon indicates that
the
section or
paragraph only applies
to
the
versioft
of the
phone
that
works with Cisco
CaliManager
If
you
are
using
the
Cisco CallManager
version of
the
phone
there is
no

upper
right
corner
