Richtig Lüften
Die Raumluft reichert sich im Laufe des Tages
stark mit den verschiedensten Stoffen an.
Vor allem die Produktion von CO2 durch die
Atmung, aber auch das Ansteigen von Luftfeuchte
und die Ausgasung der Einrichtung und Möbel
verschlechtern die Qualität der Luft.
Diese Luft muss regelmäßig ausgetauscht werden.
Lüften Sie in den Sommermonaten mindestens
viermal, und den Wintermonaten zweimal täglich,
je nach Außentemperatur und nachdem wie oft Sie
sich in den Räumen aufhalten.
Hierfür verfügt der Antrieb über die komfortable 10
Minuten Lüftung, die das Fenster nach Ablauf der
Zeit wieder automatisch schließt.
Besonders geeignet ist 10 Minuten Lüftung zum
Lüften während der Heizperiode, da es durch die
kurze Lüftungsdauer und den geringeren
Wärmeverlust gegenüber dem Dauerlüften deutlich
energieeffizienter ist.

End- bzw. Überlastabschaltung gestoppt. Die
auftretenden Kräfte können so groß werden, das
Körperteile abgequetscht werden.
- Wenn das Fenster sich in einem zugänglichen
Bereich befindet, z.B. bei Einbauhöhen des
Fensters unter 2,5m (Unterkante Fenster!), darf
derAntrieb in ZU-Richtung nur mit Sicht auf das
Fenster oder im Tastbetrieb betrieben werden.

Wartung und Reinigung
Der VCD-Solar Kettenantrieb ist auf eine lange
Lenbensdauer ausgelegt und nahezu wartungsfrei.
Der Antrieb sollte jährlich auf sicheren Halt aller
Befestigungsteile kontrolliert werden. Sollten sich bei
einer Entladung die Akkus trotz ausreichender
Sonneneinstrahlung nicht innerhalb weniger Tage
wieder aufladen, so sind diese zu ersetzen. Es dürfen
nur original D+H-Ersatzteile und Akkus verwendet
werden. Eine Instandsetzung erfolgt ausschließlich
durch D+H. Wischen Sie Verschmutzungen mit einem
trockenen, weichen Tuch ab. Verwenden Sie keine
Reinigungs- oder Lösemittel.
Garantie
Auf alle D+H-Artikel erhalten Sie Garantie
ab belegter Übergabe der Anlage bis max. 3 Jahre
nach Auslieferungsdatum, wenn die Montage bzw.
Inbetriebnahme durch einen von D+H autorisierten
durchgeführt
wurde.
Bei Anschluss von D+H-Komponenten an
Fremdanlagen oder Vermischung von D+H-
Produkten mit Teilen anderer Hersteller erlischt die
D+H-Garantie.

Einbauhinweise
Deutsch
DerAntrieb wird durchAkkus betrieben, die durch das integrierte Solarpanel geladen werden.
Die Ladung der Akkus hängt hauptsächlich vom regionalen Standort, von der Ausrichtung des Fensters
(Himmelsrichtung) und vom Neigungswinkel des Solarpanels ab.
Der Antrieb ist für die tägliche Lüftung konzipiert und funktioniert aufgrund seiner stromsparenden
Konstruktion auch in den sonnenarmen Wintermonaten. In Ausnahmejahren kann es dennoch vorkommen,
dass sich dieAkkus vollständig entladen. DieAkkus werden sich innerhalb weniger Tage wieder aufladen.
In diesem Fall sollten die Lüftungszyklen pro Tag entsprechend reduziert werden.
Das Solarpanel muss ganztägig und unabhängig von der Jahreszeit frei von Abschattungen sein, da sonst
die Akkus nicht geladen werden. So ist auf die Schattenverläufe von Gebäuden oder Bäumen und auf die
Schattenwürfe von Dachgauben, Kaminen, Antennen usw. zu achten. Des weiteren kann die Funktion auch
durch Wettereinflüsse (Häufiger Regen, Schnee, Nebel etc.) oder Verschmutzungen beeinträchtigt werden.

Battery
Correct ventilation
Over the course of the day, the air quality in a room is
heavily impacted by the environment and its use.
In particular, the CO2 produced through respiration
worsens the air quality, as does the rising of humidity
and the emissions of equipment and furniture.
This stale air has to be regularly exchanged for fresh
air.
Ventilate at least four times a day during the summer
months and at least twice a day during the winter,
depending on the outdoor temperature and how
much the room is occupied.
For this purpose, the drive has a comfortable 10-
minute ventilation setting which automatically closes
the window again after this period.
The 10-minute ventilation setting is especially
practical during cool months when the heating is on,
as this short period and lower loss of heat is far more
energy efficient than keeping the windows open the
entire time.

Safety notes
- The drive has limit stop settings and overload
cut-off settings which trigger it to stop.
The generated force is powerful enough to crush
limbs.
- If the window is within normal human reach
(the lower edge is less than 2.5 m above the floor),
the drive must only be operated to CLOSE the
window while keeping an eye out for blockages,
or in the tip mode.

You will get for all D+H products

maximal 3 years after date of delivery, when
mounting and starting has been carried out by

The VCD-Solar chain drive is designed for a long
lifetime and nearly maintenance free. The drive
should be checked annually to secure hold of all
fastening parts. If the batteries lose their charge in
spite of sufficient sunlight and do not recharge within a
few days, they have to be replaced. Only original D+H
spare parts and batteries may be used.
Repair is to be carried out exclusively by D+H.
Wipe away debris or contamination with a dry, soft
cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.

The drive runs on battery power and the batteries are charged by the integrated solar panel.
The battery charge depends primarily on the location of the building, the facing direction of the window and
the angle the solar panel is tilted.
The drive is designed for daily ventilation and, thanks to its energy saving construction, also works during the
winter months when there is less sunlight. In the occasional periods of exceptionally little sunlight, it may
happen that the batteries completely lose their charge. In such cases, it only takes a few days for the batteries
to recharge again. It is best to reduce the number of times per day the room is ventilated during this recharging
period. The solar panel has to be in a location where it is free of shade all day long, regardless of the season;
otherwise, it cannot charge the batteries. Therefore, installation should consider the movement of shadows
from buildings and trees, as well as roof dormers, chimneys, antennae, etc. Weather (frequent rain, snow,
fog, etc.) and dirt can also interrupt its proper function.
If the window is equipped with a shutter or sun blind, this should be open during the day far enough that the
drive batteries can be charged through their solar cells.

Determine the required orientation of the window and the inclination angle of the solar module according to
the Zone based on the diagram beside. (Zone 4 includes areas 3 and 2, etc.)

différentes substances.Notamment la production

l'été, aérez au moins quatre fois et pendant l'hiver,
au moins deux fois par jour et en fonction de votre

doté d'une aération de 10 minutes qui referme
ensuite automatiquement la fenêtre.L'aération de
10 minutes convient particulièrement pour aérer
pendant la période de chauffe car elle est plus
efficace qu'une aération prolongée compte tenu de
sa perte de chaleur réduite.

Le boîtier à chaîne VCD solar a été conçu pour
une longue durée de vie et ne nécessite presque
aucun entretien.Contrôlez annuellement la bonne
fixation du moteur. Si la batterie déchargée ne se
recharge pas dans les jours suivants malgré un
ensoleillement suffisant, remplacez-la. Utilisez
uniquement des pièces d'origine D+H pour la
batterie. Seul D+H est autorisé à procédé à la
réparation. En cas de présence de saletés, utiliser
un chiffon doux et sec. Ne pas utiliser de
détergents ou de solvants.
Garantie
Tous les articles D+H sont garantis dès la
remise justifiée de l’installation et au plus pendant 3
ans après la date de la livraison si le montage ou la
mise en service avait été entrepris(e) par un

Si vous raccordez les composants D+H à des
installations étrangères ou panachez les produits
D+H à des pièces d’autres constructeurs, le droit de
garantie D+H devient caduque.

Le moteur fonctionne grâce à une batterie qui est chargée via un panneau photovoltaïque intégré.
Le chargement de la batterie dépend essentiellement de l'emplacement, de l'orientation de la fenêtre et de
l'angle d'inclinaison du panneau photovoltaïque.Le moteur a été conçu pour une aération quotidienne et
fonctionne même les jours de faible ensoleillement grâce à sa construction à faible consommation électrique,
Lors d'années exceptionnelles, il est cependant possible que la batterie se vide complètement. La batterie se
recharge en quelques jours.Dans ce cas, réduisez les cycles d'aération.Le panneau photovoltaïque ne doit
pas être assombri quelque soit la saison afin de garantir le chargement de la batterie. Assurez-vous que les
bâtiments ou les pièces ne soient pas ombragés par des lucarnes, des cheminées, des antennes, etc. De
plus, les intempéries (pluies fréquentes, neige, brouillard, etc.) ou les saletés peuvent nuire au bon
fonctionnement.Si la fenêtre est dotée d'un pare-soleil ou d'un store, ces derniers doivent être ouverts le jour
de manière à ce que la cellule photovoltaïque du moteur puisse se charger.
1. Localisez le lieu d'installation sur la carte (zone 1 à 4).
2. Déterminez l'orientation de la fenêtre ainsi que l'inclinaison du panneau photovoltaïque en fonction de la
zone et en vous aidant du diagramme ci-après. (la zone 4 regroupe les zones 3 et 2, etc.)
3. Assurez-vous que la fenêtre est adaptée au montage du moteur.
