Watch and listen!
Activate the attached capability switch or add your own and watch the
cyclone whip around colored glitter shapes in the cylinder while listening
to the wonderful sounds of wind, rain, thunder and upbeat music. Great
for increasing visual attention. Has an external jack for your capability
switch. Has an off/on switch for volume control. Size: 13"H x 11"W x
11"D. Requires 7 C Batteries.
Operation:
1. The Cyclone requires 7 C batteries to operate. Use alkaline batteries
only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable
batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower
voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and
new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. Carefully turn over unit to reveal battery compartment. Remove the
screws from the battery compartment cover. Next lift the battery
compartment cover off and insert 7 “C” batteries into the holders.
Alkaline batteries are recommended because they last longer. Do not
use rechargeable batteries because they supply a lower voltage and
unit may not perform as well. Be careful to check for Polarity,
matching + pole to + marking and - pole to - marking in the battery
holder. Replace the cover and screws.
3. Turn the ON/OFF/Volume switch to ON by turning it clockwise. Set
it to an auditable volume level. Press the textured green switch plate
and you will be rewarded with illuminated swirling confetti, cyclone
sounds and music... Once you release pressure on the textured switch,
the confetti, light, sounds and music will stop.
4. To use the Cyclone with an external switch, plug your switch into the
1/8" female jack located on the back of the unit. When your switch is
activated the Cyclone will activate as before. Release your switch and
the Cyclone will stop.
Please Note:
Do not block air flow from the fan via the top or bottom of the
Cyclone’s tower.
5. When you are finished using the Cyclone turn the unit OFF. This will
prevent battery drain. If the Cyclone is not going to be used for a long
period of time, e.g. one month or longer, we recommend removing the
batteries during storage to prevent battery drain or leakage, which can
cause damage to the unit.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: Cyclone does not work.
Action #1: Check the batteries for proper installation, as noted in
operation No. 2.
Action #2: Check batteries for freshness, if weak or dead replace with
new batteries.
Action #3: Make sure there is nothing obstructing textured switch plate,
fan blades or air flow to the fan.
Action #4: Check your switch with another device to rule the Cyclone
out as the source of the problem.
Care of Unit:
The Cyclone can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose
cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non
toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the contents and the
electrical components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
