Exploring is fun!
Our Activity Center is a fun-filled stimulating busy box. Three
different gel pad switches provide wonderful opportunities for
exploration. Press the green switch and a fan blows while music
plays. Press the red switch and a police light flashes while
sirens play and police talk. The yellow switch vibrates while
colorful glitter whirls around a dome and music plays. Provides
terrific auditory, tactile and visual experiences. Size: 23½"L x
4"W x 6"H. Requires 4 C & 3 AA Batteries. Weight: 4½ lbs.
Operation:
. The Gel Pad Activity Center requires 4 C batteries and 3 AA
batteries (Not included). Use alkaline batteries only (e.g.
Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable
batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply
lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never
mix old and new batteries together or different brands or
types together.
2. The battery compartments are located on the bottom of the
unit. To remove the battery compartment covers, unscrew
the small Phillips Head screw on each of the black battery
cases, and then slide the covers off. Install new batteries,
being careful to observe proper (+) & (-) battery polarity.
Replace covers and screws. Turn the ON/OFF/ Volume
knobs ON and adjust volume to the desired level.
3. Press the green Gel Pad and a fan blows while music plays.
Press the red Gel pad and a police light flashes while sirens
play and police talk. The yellow Gel Pad vibrates while
colorful glitter whirls around a dome and music plays.
Please Note: For proper operation of all functions all three
ON/OFF/VOLUME control knobs need to be turned ON. You
can adjust the volume (e.g. turning the volume down) if you
don’t want the sound or music.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: The Gel Pad Activity Center’s sounds or music
output does not work.
Action #1: Make sure the ON/OFF knob for the pad you are
activating are turned ON and the Volume is set to an auditable
level.
Action #2: Make sure all the ON/OFF switches on the C battery
compartments are set to ON.
Action #3: Check all batteries for proper (+) & (-) battery
polarity.
Action #4: Check to make sure noting is blocking or restricting
the movement of the Gel pads.
Action #5: Try replacing one or both sets of 3 AA batteries with
fresh new batteries. Never mix different brands or old and new
batteries.
Problem: There is no vibration or fan.
Action: Follow previous actions.
Care of Unit:
The Gel Pad Activity Center can be wiped clean with any
household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant. We
recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic biodegradable
all-purpose cleaner.
When finished playing with the Gel Pad Activity Center turn the
ON/OFF switches to OFF to help prevent battery drain. For
prolonged storage we recommend removing the batteries.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the contents and
the electrical components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface
of the unit.
