Rattan
Rattan is a natural material that will respond to humidity in the
environment. Low humidity may cause the rattan to shrink.
High humidity may cause the rattan to absorb moisture and expand,
causing the weaving to look loose and wavy.
This is a natural phenomenon and not a defect.
Caution:
Do not stand on, or use this chair as a step ladder.
Use this product for seating one person at a time.
This product should be checked periodically to ensure
all components are secure and all hardware is tight.
Recommended weight capacity: 120kg

Read through the instructions carefully
before you begin.
Identify and lay out all of the components
before you begin assembly.
! Never use power tools unless specifically instructed. They can damage your components or
hardware if used incorrectly.
! If you are having any diculties assembling your product, missing any hardware or
components please visit our website Help Centre for further assistance.
! Periodically check and re-tighten all fasteners. Check the product care label or website for
product care instructions.
! Never use any glue until you are certain that the parts belong together.
! Bulky items such as wardrobes and bunk beds should be assembled in the room they will be
used in as they may not fit through a door once assembled.
! Always use a soft surface (such as carpet or cardboard) when assembling your product to
avoid scratching or damaging the surface of the product.
! The most common mistakes made during assembly are using the wrong hardware or getting
components back to front.
Unless instructed, do not fully tighten screws
until the item is fully assembled.
Make sure you have all the required tools.
Never use power tools unless instructed.

Step 2
Insert 5 x Castors (P8) into the Star Base (P7) as shown.
Push firmly on each castor to ensure they are fixed in position.
Insert the Gas Lift (P5) into the centre hole of Star Base (P7).
Cover the Cap (P6) to the Star Base (P7)
Remove the Plastic Cap from the top of the Gas Lift (P5).

Place Seat (P2) on a soft and clean surface upside down.
Put Metal Frame (P3) onto Seat (P2) with the holes aligned as shown.
Fasten with 4 x Bolts (H1) using Allen Key (H4).
Put Seat Plate (P4) onto Metal Frame (P3) with
the holes aligned as shown.
Fasten with 4 x Bolts (H2) and 4 x Washers (H3)
using Allen Key (H4).

Step 5
Position the centre hole in the Seat Plate (P4) over the Gas Lift (P5).
Carefully lower the Seat Unit onto the Gas Lift (P5).

You will need

Put Backrest (P1) onto Metal Frame (P3) with the holes aligned as shown.
Fasten with 4 x Bolts (H1) using Allen Key (H4).
Press seat down firmly in position and check the connection is secure
before sitting on the chair.
