ren, elektrische Daten, Momente usw. einzuhalten. Beach
tenSie die VorschriftenderBerufsgenossenschaftendes
TÜV, die VDE− oderentsprechende nationale Bestimmun
gen.
Miniatur Ventile dürfennur vom Fachpersonal installiert
werden.

Hinweis
SBei Verwendung von Winkelverschraubungenoder
Vielfachverteilern verringert sich im allgemeinender
Luftdurchfluss.
SUnterlegenSie ggf. Verschraubung mit einem pas
sendenDichtring, um Leckage zuvermeiden.
SVerschließenSie nicht benötigte pneumatische
Anschlüsse mit Blindstopfen(z.B. Anschluss 3/11
wenn 2/2−Wege−Ventile montiert sind). Sie vermei
dendamit, dass Verunreinigungenindie Pneumatik
komponenteneindringenkönnenund stellendie
Schutzart IP40 sicher.

4Miniatur Ventile elektrisch anschließen
Zur Ansteuerung derVentile ist jede Ventilspule einem
Lötsockel zugeordnet. EinVentilplatz belegt immereine
Adresse. Ungenutzte Ventilplätze, z.B. Reserveplätze,
belegenebenfalls eine Adresse.
Vorsicht
Berührenvon KontaktflächenanSteckverbindungen
und Missachtung derHandhabungsvorschriftenfür
elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente könnendie
Komponentenzerstören.
Ansteuern der Ventile
Steuern Sie die Ventile ineinheitlicherAnsteuerungsart
an. Vorzugsweise alle Steuersignale plusschaltend
(1−schaltend), andernfalls alle Steuersignale minusschal
tend (0−schaltend). Das Ansteuern im Mischbetrieb ist
nicht zulässig.

5Anzeige− undBedienelemente
Lage der LED
Die Miniatur Ventile Typ ....MHA1−..L... sind mit einerLED
ausgestattet die denSchaltzustand derMagnetspule an
zeigt. Die Lage derLED ist hinterdem Magneteninder
transparentenAbdeckung (siehe nachfolgende Tabelle).
Funktion undLage der Handhilfsbetätigung(HHB)
Die Position derHHB ist bei denverschiedenenVarianten
derMiniatur Ventile unterschiedlich (siehe nachfolgende
Tabelle):
Bei denVentilenvom Typ ....MHA1−... und MHP1−...
sitzt die tastende HHB obenauf dem Ventil.
Bei denVentilenvom Typ ....MHA1−..L... sitzt die ta
stende/rastende HHB auf derFrontseite des Ventils.
HHB−Kodierkappen
Bei denVentilenvom Typ ....MHA1−..L... kann die Funktion
derHHB mit Kodierkappengeändert werden:
 mit derKodierkappe Typ MH1 kann die HHB nur noch
tastend bedient werden.
 mit derKodierkappe Typ MH1 GESCHL. ist die HHB
verdeckt. Die HHB kann nicht bedient werden.

The miniature valves type MH1..−PCBare intended exclus
ivelyfor controlling pneumaticactuators. Whenused to
getherwithcommerciallyavailable components, such as
actuators, the specified limits for pressures, temperatures,
electrical data, torques etc. must be observed. National
and local safetyregulations must alsobe observed.
Miniature valves mayonlybe fitted bytrained personnel.
Warning
SBefore undertaking installation or maintenance work,
switch off the powersupplyfor the valve solenoid
coils and the compressed airsupply.
Please note
Commission onlya miniature valve terminal which has
beenfitted and wired completely.

Please note
SIf elbow screw connectors or multiple distributors are
used, the airflow will be reduced slightly.
SIf necessary, place a suitable seal undereach screw
connector inordertoavoid leakage.
SSeal the unused pneumaticports withblind plugs
(e.g. connection 3/11 if 2/2−wayvalves are fitted).
Inthis way, you canprevent dirt from entering the
pneumaticcomponents and you will complywith
protection class IP40.

4 Connect the miniature valveselectrically
Each valve coil is assigned toa soldering socket inorder
that the valves canbe controlled. A valve location always
occupies one address. Unused valve locations, e.g. re
serve plates, alsooccupy one address.
Caution
The components will be damaged if you touch the con
tact surfaces of the plug connectors and if you donot
observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
Controllingthe valves
Control the valves ina uniform manner. Preferably, all con
trol signals should be positive−switching (1−switching),
otherwise negative−switching (0−switching). Mixed mode
control is not permitted.
Address assignment ofthe valves
 Assign the addresses inascending orderwithout gaps.
Avalve location always occupies one address.
Counting begins from left toright (position of basis
block: soldering sockets are behind the valves).
