1Benutzerhinweise
Das Basisgerät Typ SPC200-CPU-... ist zum Einbau in einen
Schaltschrank bestimmt. Es besteht aus einem Baugruppenträ-
ger mit integrierter Rückwandplatine, auf der sich Hauptprozes-
sor und Speicher befinden. Je nach Anforderung können Sie
Baugruppen von Festo in den Baugruppenträger installieren.
Der SPC200 dient bestimmungsgemäß als Positioniersteuerung
und Lageregler für Pneumatische Achsen sowie als Positionier-
steuerung für elektrische Achsen.

VORSICHT:
Beachten Sie unbedingt die dort aufgeführten:
– Sicherheitstechnischen Hinweise
– den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch der jeweiligen
Baugruppen und Module.
WARNUNG:
Aktoren können ungewollt aktiviert und der SPC200 beschä-
digt werden, wenn Baugruppen bei eingeschalteter Span-
nungsversorgung hinzugefügt oder entfernt werden.
Schalten Sie vor Installations- und Wartungsarbeiten folgen-
de Energiequellen in folgender Reihenfolge ab:
1. Druckluftversorgung
2. Lastversorgung und Betriebsspannungsversorgung des
SPC200.

2Aus- und Einbau von Baugruppen
VORSICHT:
Unsachgemäße Handhabung kann zur Beschädigung der
Baugruppen führen.
• Berühren Sie keine Bauelemente.
• Beachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften für elektro-
statisch gefährdete Bauelemente.
• Entladen Sie sich vor dem Ein- oder Ausbau von Bau-
gruppen elektrostatisch, zum Schutz der Baugruppen vor
Entladung statischer Elektrizität.
Die Versorgungs-Baugruppe wird in den ersten Steckplatz (lin-
ker Steckplatz) installiert. Andere Baugruppen können Sie in ei-
nen beliebigen anderen Steckplatz installieren. Die individuelle
Identifikation aller eingesteckten Baugruppen erfolgt automa-
tisch. Verschließen Sie freibleibende Steckplätze mit Blindfront-
platten (Typ SPC200-BP). Dadurch wird die Schutzart IP 20 er-
reicht.
Baugruppen ausbauen
1. Druckluftversorgung und Betriebsspannung abschalten.
2. Anschlußkabel auf der Baugruppenfront lösen und abziehen.
3. Beide Sicherungshebel durch Verschieben entriegeln (siehe
folgendes Bild).
4. Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und herausziehen.
5. Ggf. freibleibende Steckplätze mit Blindplatten verschließen.

Baugruppe einbauen
1. Druckluftversorgung und Betriebsspannungsversorgung ab-
schalten.
2. Ggf. Sicherungshebel entriegeln und Blindplatte entfernen.
3. Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und in die Führungs-
schiene einschieben. Achten Sie darauf, daß Sie die Bau-
gruppe beim Einschieben nicht verkanten und keine Bauteile
auf der Leiterplatte beschädigt werden.
4. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Stecker der Messerleisten richtig
aufeinander liegen. Schieben Sie die Baugruppe dann mit
leichtem Druck vollständig ein. Daraufhin verriegeln die Si-
cherungshebel selbsttätig (siehe Bild).

3Baugruppenträger montieren
Sie können den Baugruppenträger auf zwei Arten in einen
Schaltschrank einbauen:
–Anschrauben direkt an die Schaltschrankwand
–Aufklipsen auf eine Hutschiene.
Einbau durch Anschrauben
Sie benötigen:
–eine Einbaufläche von ca. 126 x 120 mm2.
–vier Gewindebohrungen für Schraubengröße M4 (Maßanga-
ben siehe Bild).

Einbau mit Hutschiene
HINWEIS:
Zur Montage des Baugruppenträgers an einer Hutschiene
benötigen Sie den Montagesatz CPV10/14-VI-BG-NRH..
Dieser Satz besteht aus 2 Bügeln, 4 Schrauben M4x10 und
2 Klemmstücken mit Feder.
Gehen Sie bei der Montage an einer Hutschiene wie folgt vor:
1. Stellen Sie sicher, daß die Befestigungsfläche das Gewicht
des SPC200 tragen kann.
2. Montieren Sie eine Hutschiene (Tragschiene EN50022 -
35x7.5; Breite 35 mm, Höhe 7,5 mm).
3. Befestigen Sie die Hutschiene mindestens alle 100 mm an
der Befestigungsfläche.
4. Schrauben Sie die 2 Bügel (
2 ) mit den beigelegten Schrau-
ben M4x10 (
1 ) an den Befestigungswinkel des Baugruppen-
trägers (siehe folgendes Bild). Achten Sie darauf, daß die
Fixierbolzen (
5 ) der Bügel in die Aussparung des Baugrup-
penträgers greifen.
5. Hängen Sie den Baugruppenträger in die Hutschiene ein.
Sichern Sie den Baugruppenträger mit den Klemmstücken
(
4 ) gegen Kippen oder Verrutschen.

1User instructions
The basic unit type SPC200-CPU-... is designed to be mounted
in a switch cabinet. It consists of a rack with an integrated cir-
cuit board in the rear panel incorporating the main processor
and the memory. You can install Festo modules in the rack
according to your requirements. The SPC200 is designed as a
position controller and closed loop controller for pneumatic axes
as well as a position controller for electric axes.

CAUTION
Pay strict attention to the following instructions shown
therein:
– safety guidelines
– specifications for the use of each module and component.
WARNING
Actuators can be accidentally activated and the SPC200
damaged, if modules are inserted or removed with the
power switched on.
Before installation or maintenance work switch off the follow-
ing power sources in the following order:
1. Compressed air supply
2. The load supply and operating voltage supply of the
SPC200.

2Fitting and removing the modules
CAUTION
Modules can be damaged by incorrect handling.
• Do not touch any of the components.
• Follow the instructions for handling components which
are affected by electrostatic charges.
• Discharge yourself electrostatically before inserting or
removing modules in order to protect the components
from discharges of static electricity.
The supply module is mounted in the first (left-hand) slot.
Other modules can be mounted in any of the other slots. Each
module is automatically identified when it is inserted into the
rack. Fill any remaining slots with blank panels (type SPC200-
BP). The unit will then comply with the IP 20 protection system.
Removing the modules
1. Switch off the power and compressed air supply.
2. Disconnect the cable on the front of the module and remove
it.
3. Slide the two safety catches sideways to unlock them
(see diagram below).
4. Take hold of the module by the front plate and extract it.
5. Fill any remaining empty slots with blank panels.

Fitting the modules
1. Switch off the compressed air supply and operating voltage
supply.
2. If necessary unlock the safety catches and remove any
blank panels.
3. Take hold of the front plate of the module and slide it into
the guide rail. Be careful not to tilt the module when you
are sliding it into the slot, and make sure that none of the
components on the board are damaged.
4. Make sure that the pins on the connectors are correctly
aligned. Then with a light pressure of the fingers push the
module fully home. The safety catches will then lock auto-
matically (see diagram).

3Mounting the rack
There are two methods of installing the rack in a switch cabinet:
–Screwing it directly to the wall of the cabinet.
–Clipping it to a top hat rail.
Screw method of installation
You will need:
–a clear area of approx. 126 x 120 mm2.
–four holes for screw size M4
(see diagram for details of dimensions).

Fitting with hat rail
PLEASE NOTE
In order to mount the rack on a top hat rail you will need
installation set CPV10/14-VI-BG-NRH..
This set comprises 2 clips, 4 bolts M4x10 und 2 clamps with
springs.
The rack is mounted on the top hat rail as follows:
1. Make sure that the surface on which the rack is to be
located can bear the weight of the SPC200.
2. Fasten a top hat rail (mounting rail EN50022 - 35x7.5; width
35 mm, height 7,5 mm).
3. Secure the rail to the wall of the cabinet at min. 100 mm in-
tervals.
4. Attach the 2 clips (
2 ) with the enclosed M4x10 bolts ( 1 ) to
the bracket of the rack (see diagram below). Make sure
that when the fastening bolts (
5 ) in the clips are tightened
they pass through the recess in the rack.
5. Hook the rack on to the top hat rail. Secure the rack with the
clamps (
4 ) so that it does not tip over or slip out.
