1Benutzerhinweise
Der CP-Feldbusknoten 5 ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz als
Teilnehmer an folgenden Feldbussen bestimmt:
–Festo-Feldbus
–ABB Systembus
–Klöckner-Moeller SUCOnet K.
Hierbei sind die angegebenen Grenzwerte der technischen Da-
ten einzuhalten.
Ausführliche Informationen finden Sie in der Beschreibung
P.BE CP-FB5-E-....
WARNUNG:
•Schalten Sie die Spannung aus, bevor Sie Steckverbinder
zusammenstecken oder trennen (Funktionsschädigung).
•Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Stromquellen, die eine sichere
elektrische Trennung der Betriebsspannung nach IEC/DIN
EN 60204-1 gewährleisten. Berücksichtigen Sie zusätzlich
die allgemeinen Anforderungen an PELV-Stromkreise ge-
mäß IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
•Schließen Sie einen Erdleiter mit ausreichendem Leitungs-
querschnitt an den mit gekennzeichneten Anschluß an,
wenn die Ventilinsel nicht auf einem geerdeten Maschinen-
gestell montiert ist.
HINWEIS:
Nehmen Sie nur einen komplett montierten und verdrahteten
Knoten in Betrieb.

2Konfiguration
VORSICHT:
Der Knoten enthält elektronisch gefährdete Bauelemente.
Berühren der Kontaktflächen an Steckverbindungen und
Mißachtung der Handhabungsvorschriften für elektrostatisch
gefährdete Bauelemente können den Knoten zerstören.
Gehen Sie beim Konfigurieren wie folgt vor:
1. Betriebsspannung abschalten.
2. Abdeckung des DIL-Schalters öffnen.
3. Feldbusadresse einstellen.
4. Nur Festo-Feldbus: Feldbusbaudrate einstellen.
5. Feldbusprotokoll einstellen.
6. Abdeckung des DIL-Schalters wieder festschrauben.
7. Ist das CP-System letzter Feldbusteilnehmer, muß der
Abschlußwiderstand im Festo Sub-D-Stecker
(TN 18529) aktiviert werden.

Befindet sich das CP-System am Ende des Feldbussystems, ist
ein Busabschluß erforderlich.
Empfehlung:
Verwenden Sie hierfür den vorkonfektionierten Sub-D-Stecker
von Festo (Teile-Nr. 18529). Im Gehäuse des Festo-Sub-D-
Steckers ist ein geeignetes Widerstandsnetzwerk integriert. Der
Leitungsabschluß ist manuell zu schalten (siehe Beschreibung
"CP-Feldbusknoten 5").

4Adressierung
Die Adressierung des CP-Systems mit CP-Feldbusknoten 5 ist
herstellerspezifisch unterschiedlich. Allgemein gilt:
1. Ein CP-Ventilplatz belegt zwei Adressen:
- niederwertige Adresse = Vorsteuermagnet 14
- höherwertige Adresse = Vorsteuermagnet 12.
2. Elektrische Ausgangs- oder Eingangsmodule belegen
je 16 Ausgangs- oder Eingangsadressen.

Systems finden Sie in der Beschreibung "CP-Feldbusknoten 5".

1User instructions
The CP fieldbus node 5 is designed exclusively for use as a
slave on the following fieldbus systems.
–Festo fieldbus
–ABB Systembus
–Klöckner-Moeller SUCOnet K.
The limit values of the technical specifications must be ob-
served.
Please refer to the manual P.BE CP-FB5-E... for detailed infor-
mation.
WARNING:
•Switch off the power supply before you connect or discon-
nect plugs (danger of functional damage).
•Use power supplies which guarantee reliable electrical isola-
tion of the operating voltage as per IEC/DIN EN
60204-1. Consider also the general requirements for PELV
circuits in accordance with IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
•Connect an earth conductor with sufficient cross section to
the connection marked with , if the valve terminal is not
fitted on an earthed machine stand.
PLEASE NOTE
Only operate a node which is completely fitted and
electrically wired.

2Configuration
CAUTION
The node contains elements which are liable to damage by
electrostatic charges. The node can also be destroyed if the
contact surfaces of plug connectors are touched, or if the
regulations for handling electrostatically vulnerable compo-
nents are not observed.
Please observe the following when configuring:
1. Switch off the operating voltage.
2. Open cover for the DIL switch.
3. Set fieldbus address.
4. Festo fieldbus only: Set fieldbus baudrate.
5. Set fieldbus protocol.
6. Fix the cover of the DIL switch.
7. If the CP system to be connected is at the end of a
fieldbus line, the terminating resistor in the Festo Sub-D
plug (part no. 18529) must be activated.

If the CP system is at the end of the fieldbus system, a cable
termination is required.
Recommendation: Use the Sub-D plug from Festo (part no.
18529) for this purpose. A suitable RC network has already
been fitted into the housing of the Festo Sub-D plug. The cable
termination must be switched manually (refer to manual "CP
fieldbus node 5").

4Addressing
The addressing of the CP system with CP fieldbus node 5 is
manufacturer-specific. In general the following applies:
1. A CP valve location occupies two addresses:
- lower valve address = pilot valve coil 14
- higher valve address = pilot valve coil 12.
2. Electrical output or input modules occupy
16 output or input addresses.
You will find detailed information and examples on addressing
in the manual "CP fieldbus node 5".

1Instrucciones para el usuario
El nodo CP 5 está diseñado exclusivamente para ser utilizado
como slave en los siguientes sistemas de bus de campo.
–Bus de campo Festo

–Klöckner-Moeller SUCOnet K.
Deben observarse los valores límite de las especificaciones téc-
nicas.
Para una detallada información, consultar el manual P.BE CP-
FB5-E.....
ATENCIÓN:
•Desconectar la alimentación antes de conectar o desconec-
tar clavijas (riesgo de daños funcionales).
•Utilice exclusivamente fuentes de corriente que garanticen
una desconexión electrónica segura de la tensión de servi-
cio conforme a la IEC/DIN EN 60204-1. Preste también
atención a las exigencias generales para circuitos PELV de
conformidad con IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
•Utilizar un conductor de tierra con sección suficiente en la
conexión marcada con si el terminal de válvulas no ees-
tá montado en un bastidor puesto a tierra.
POR FAVOR, OBSERVAR:
Poner en marcha el nodo solamente cuando esté completa-
mente montado y cableado.

2Configuración
PRECAUCIÓN:
El nodo contiene elementos que son susceptibles de dañar-
se por descargas electrostáticas. El nodo también puede
destruirse si se tocan las superficies de contacto de los co-
nectores o si no se observan las normas para la manipula-
ción de componentes sensibles a las descargas electrostáti-
cas.
Observar lo siguiente al configurar:
1. Desconectar la tensión de alimentación.
2. Abrir la tapa del interruptor DIL.
3. Establecer la dirección del bus de campo.
4. Sólo en el bus Festo: Establecer la velocidad del bus.
5. Establecer el protocolo del bus de campo.
6. Recolocar la tapa del interruptor DIL.
7. Si el sistema CP se halla instalado al final de una línea del
bus, debe activarse la resistencia terminadora en la clavija
Festo Sub-D (nº de artículo 18529).
