2 Funktion und Anwendung
Die geschütze Führung der Linearachse bedeckt alle Profilhinterschneidungen der
Linearachsenführung. Sie bietet eine Oberfläche mit reinigungsfreundlichen Ober-
flächen. Das Abdeckprofil schützt die Führung gegen herabfallende Partikel und
Staub.
Sie dient bestimmungsgemäß als Variantenelement ab Werk an Linearachsen des
Typs DGE(L)-...-KF, DGP(L)-...-KF und DGPI(L)-...-KF.
3 Voraussetzungen für den Produkteinsatz
Hinweis
SStellen Sie sicher, dass die Punkte dieses Kapitels immer eingehalten
werden.
Dies macht das Produktverhalten ordnungsgemäß und sicher.
SVergleichen Sie die Grenzwerte in dieser Bedienungsanleitung mit Ihrem ak-
tuellen Einsatzfall (z.B. Käfte, Frequenzen, Massen, Temperaturen, Geschwin-
digkeiten).
Nur die Einhaltung der Belastungsgrenzen ermöglicht ein Betreiben des Arti-
kels gemäß der einschlägigen Sicherheitsrichtlinien.
SBerücksichtigen Sie die Umgebungs-
bedingungen vor Ort.
Korrosive Umbebungen beeinträchtigen
die Lebensdauer Ihres Produkts.
SBeachten Sie die Vorschriften für Ihren
Einsatzort (z.B. von Berufsgenossenschaf-
ten oder nationalen Institutionen).
SVerwenden Sie das Produkt im Originalzustand ohne jegliche eigenmächtige
Veränderungen.

SPlatzieren Sie die Linearachse mit ausrei-
chendem Freiraum f zu mindestens einer
der Stirnseiten.
Sonst behindert das Abdeckprofil im
Wartungsfall den Zugang zu den relevan-
ten Stellen. Das bedeutet, dass die Achse
später zu Wartungszwecken ausgebaut
werden muss.

SPlatzieren Sie die Führungsschiene 5
immer nach oben (siehe Kapitel “Techni-
sche Daten”).
Um das zu ermöglichen, besitzt der Läufer
zwei identisch ausgeführte Läuferflächen.
Nur die horizontale Ausrichtung der
DGxx-...-GA schützt die Führungsschiene
zuverlässig gegen Eindringen von
Schmutz.
Gegen aufwirbelnde Schmutzpartikel
bietet die DGxx-...-GA keinen Schutz.
SPrüfen Sie, ob Stoßdämpferhalterungen
für kürzere Hübe als den Nennhub benö-
tigt werden.
Zum Anbau von Stoßdämpferhalterungen:
SDemontieren Sie das Abdeckprofil folgendermaßen:
– Läufer 4und Abdeckprofil 1reinigen
(siehe Kapitel “Wartung und Pflege”).
– Halteschrauben 3herausdrehen
– Bürstenabstreifer 2demontieren
– Abdeckprofil 1herausziehen
– KYP-... gemäß deren Bedienungs-
anleitung montieren

Zur Wiedermontage der Abdeckschiene:
SMontieren Sie das Abdeckprofil folgendermaßen:
– Abdeckprofil einschieben
– Halteschrauben festdrehen
– Bürstenabstreifer montieren
– (Anziehdrehmomente siehe Bild 9)
Bei Verwendung von Stoßdämpfern direkt in
den Endkappen 6:
SVerwenden Sie ausschließlich den
Bausatz gemäß Kapitel “Zubehör”.
Nur dieser enthält die Einschraubelemente für den korrekten Einbau des
Stoßdämpfers.
5 Inbetriebnahme
Hinweis
Bereits ab Werk montierte geschützte Führungen bedürfen keiner Nacharbeit.
SLassen Sie die Schrauben und Stellteile unverändert für die es keine aus-
drückliche Aufforderung dazu in dieser Bedienungsanleitung gibt.
SEntfernen Sie die Abdeckvorrichtungen an
der vorgesehenen Läuferfläche folgender-
maßen:
– Bürstenabstreifer demontieren
– Abdeckschiene herausschieben
– Bürsten montieren
– Abdeckkappen herausheben
(nur bei benötigten Bohrungen)

6 Wartung und Pflege
SFetten Sie die Wälzlagerkassetten des
Läufers in Intervallen gemäß der Bedie-
nungsleitung Ihrer Linearachse.
Zur Freilegung der Schmiernippel:
SVollziehen Sie den Abbau der Abdeck-
schiene wie im Kapitel “Einbau”
beschrieben.
SReinigen Sie die DGxx-...-GA ausschließ-
lich mit Wasser (max. 60 °C).
7 Ausbau und Reparatur
Zum Tausch stark beanspruchter Teile:
SBestellen Sie einen Verschleißteilsatz für die geschützte Führung.

2 Method of operation and application
The protected guide of the linear axis covers all profile undercuts on the linear
axis guide.
It provides an easy-to-clean surface.
The cover section protects the guide against falling particles and dust.
The dirt-protected linear axis guide has been designed as a variant and is fitted at
the factory to linear axes of types DGE(L)-...-KF, DGP(L)-...-KF and DGPI(L)-...-KF.
3 Conditions of use
Please note
SMake sure that the specifications in this section are always observed.
The product will then function correctly and safely.
SCompare the maximum values specified in these operating instructions with
your actual application (e.g. forces, frequencies, masses, temperatures,
speeds).
The product can only be operated in accordance with the relevant safety guide-
lines if the maximum loading limits are observed.
STake into account the ambient conditions
at your location.
Corrosive ambient conditions can impair
the service life of the product.
SPlease observe the regulations applicable
to your location (e.g. local and national
laws and regulations).
SUse the product in its original state without undertaking modifications.

SPlace the linear axis with sufficient free
space f against at least one of the front
sides.
Otherwise the cover section will prevent
access to the relevant positions when
maintenance is necessary.
This means that the axis would have to be
dismantled for maintenance purposes at a
later stage.

The slide has two identical surfaces to
enable you to do this.The guide rail offers
reliable protection against dirt from enter-
ing only when the DGxx-...-GA is used in
the horizontal position. The DGxx-...-GA
does not offer any protection against
whirled up particles of dirt.
SCheck to see if shock absorber supports
are required for strokes shorter than the
rated stroke.
Fitting shock absorber supports
SRemove the cover section as follows:
– Clean the slide 4and the cover sec-
tion 1 (see section “Care and mainten-
ance”)
– Unscrew the fastening screws 3
– Remove the brush wiper 2
– Pull out the cover section 1
– Fit the KYP-... in accordance with the
operating instructions.

Refitting the cover section
SRefit the cover section as follows:
– Push in the cover section
– Tighten the fastening screws
–Fitthebrushwiper.
– (Tightening torques see Fig. 9)
Using shock absorbers directly in the end
caps 6:
SUse only the kit specified in the section
“Accessories”.
Only this kit contains the screw elements which will enable you to fit the shock
absorbers correctly.
5 Commissioning
Please note
Protected guides which are already fitted at the factory do not require any
further treatment.
SDo not carry out any modifications to the settings of screws and adjusting
parts if this is not explicitly specified in these operating instructions.
SRemove the cover devices on the intended
slide surface as follows:
– Remove the brush wiper
– Push out the cover rail
–Fitthebrushes
– Lift out the cover caps
(only if further holes must be used)

6 Care and maintenance
SGrease the roller-bearing cassettes of the
slide at intervals as specified in the oper-
ating instructions for your linear axis.
In order to gain access to the lubricating
nipple:
SRemove the cover rail as described in the
section “Fitting”.
SClean the DGxx-...-GA only with water
(max. 60 °C).
7 Dismantling and repairs
In order to replace heavily worn parts
SOrder a wearing-parts kit for the protected guide.

2 Método de funcionamiento y uso
La protección de la guía del eje lineal cubre todas las hendiduras del perfil en la
guía del eje lineal.
Proporciona una superficie fácil de limpiar.
La tapa protege a la guía contra la penetración de partículas y polvo.
La protección de la guía del eje lineal ha sido diseñada como una variante y se
monta en fábrica en los ejes lineales de los tipos DGE(L)-...-KF, DGP(L)-...-KF y
DGPI(L)-...-KF.
3 Condiciones de uso
Por favor, observar
SAsegúrese de que se observan siempre las especificaciones de este capítulo.
Con ello, el producto funcionará de forma correcta y fiable.
SCompare los valores máximos especificados en estas instrucciones de funcio-
namiento con su aplicación actual (p. ej. presiones, fuerzas, pares, temperatu-
ras).
El producto sólo puede hacerse funcionar según las correspondientes directri-
ces de seguridad si se observan los límites de carga máximos.
STénganse en cuenta las condiciones am-
bientales del emplazamiento.
Las condiciones ambientales corrosivas
pueden reducir la vida útil del producto.
SPor favor, observar las normas aplicables
a su ubicación (es decir, leyes y regulacio-
nes nacionales y locales).
SUse el producto en su condición original, sin cambios ni modificaciones.

4Montaje
SEmplazar el eje lineal con suficiente espa-
cio libre f por lo menos en uno de los la-
dos frontales.
De lo contrario, la sección de la tapa im-
pedirá el acceso a las correspondientes
posiciones cuando sea necesario hacer el
mantenimiento.
Esto significa que el eje pueda ser desmon-
tado posteriormente para mantenimiento.

SColocar siempre el raíl de guía 5mirando
haciaarriba(véaselasección“Especifica-
ciones Técnicas”).
La corredera tiene dos superficies idénti-
cas para permitirlo. El raíl de guía ofrece
una protección fiable contra la entrada de
suciedad, sólo cuando el DGxx-...-GA se
utiliza en posición horizontal. El DGxx-...-
GA no ofrece ninguna protección contra
partículas de polvo flotantes en el entorno.
SVerificar si se necesitan soportes de amor-
tiguador para carreras más cortas que la
carrera nominal.
Montaje de soportes de amortiguador
SDesmontar la sección de la tapa como sigue:
– Limpiar el lateral 4y la sección de la
tapa 1 (véase sección “Cuidados y
mantenimiento”).
– Desenroscar los tornillos de fijación 3
– Retirar el cepillo rascador 2
– Extraer la sección de la tapa 1
– Montar el KYP-... según las instruccio-
nes de funcionamiento.

Volver a montar la sección de la tapa
SVolver a montar la sección de la tapa como sigue:
– Meter la sección de la tapa
– Apretar los tornillos de fijación
– Montar el cepillo rascador
– (Pares de apriete, véase Fig. 9)
Utilizando amortiguadores directamente en
las culatas finales 6:
SUtilizar sólo el kit especificado en la
sección “Accesorios”.
Sólo este kit contiene los elementos atornillables que le permitirán montar
correctamente los amortiguadores.
5 Puesta a punto
Por favor, observar
Las guías de protección que vienen montadas de fábrica no necesitan ningún
otro tratamiento.
SNo realizar ninguna modificación en los ajustes de los tornillos ni piezas de
ajuste, si ello no se indica explícitamente en estas instrucciones de funcio-
namiento.
SRetirar los dispositivos de cubierta de la
superficie de la corredera como sigue:
– Desmontar el cepillo rascador.
– Empujar el raíl de cubierta
– Montar los cepillos
– Levantar las culatas de la cubierta
(sólo si hay que utilizar más agujeros)

6 Cuidados y mantenimiento
SEngrasar las jaulas de rodamientos a bo-
lasdelacorrederaalosintervalosespeci-
ficados en las instrucciones de funciona-
miento de su eje lineal.
Para tener acceso a la boquilla de lubricación
SRetirar el raíl de cubierta como se des-
cribe en la sección “Montaje”.
SLimpiar el DGxx-...-GA sólo con agua
(máx. 60 °C).
7 Desmontaje y reparaciones
Para sustituir piezas muy desgastadas
SPedir un kit de piezas de desgaste para la guía protegida.
