3 Function and application
The energy throughfeed DHTG-...-P4/-P4E4/-P4L12 serves to permit the passage
of compressed air and electrical signals through the drive shaft of the DHTG rotary
indexing table.

4 Transport
For lifting or setting down the size 140 and 220:
Warning
The rotary indexing table tilts by lifting or setting down on the housing 7of
thenergy throughfeed.
Risk of injury through shearing, pinching and impact.
 Take weight into account:
– Size 140 10 kg
– Size 220 25 kg
 Rotary indexing table only on the bottom of the housing 8:
– lifting (e.g. with conveyor belts)
– setting down (e.g. in transport packaging)
5 Installation
5.1 Mechanical installation
 Observe warning on transport (è4 Transport). If the mounting position devi
ates from what is described in Fig. 3, suitable transport measures must be taken
(e.g. screw transport lugs into the thread 1from below).
 Fasten DHTG (èDHTG operating instructions).
 Unscrew push-in fittings (A) for the sizes 65 and 90 at the upper housing. Leave
the bolts below them unchanged.
 Fasten plate with at least 2 opposite screws and 2 centring sleeves to the threads 4
on the rotating plate.

5.2 Pneumatic installation
Energy throughfeed with pneumatic ports DHTG-...-P4:
 Connect supply ports 2and 5with hoses.
Their assignment is marked with identical port identifications
(hose outside è7 Technical data).

Note
 Leave the cover caps on the unused electric connections 6.
Otherwise, there is no protection against accidental contact.
