Function and application
The valve sub-base CPE...-PRSG-...
connects two valves of type CPE-... with
central supply connections.
Further valves can be supplied by
means of the extension plates CPE...-
PRS-1/-2 (single or double).
By means of the intermediate and end
plates CPE-...-PRS-ZP/EP different
pressure zones as well as pressure
supply on both sides can be im-
plemented.
The valve sub-base is intended for fit-
ting onto a wall or onto a hat rail.
Funktion und Anwendung
Der Ventilanschlußblock CPE...-
PRSG-... verbindet zwei Ventile vom
Typ CPE-... mit zentralen Versorgungs-
anschlüssen.
Mit Hilfe der Erweiterungsplatten
CPE...-PRS-1/-2 (einfach oder zweifach)
können weitere Ventile versorgt werden.
Mit Hilfe der Zwischen- und Endplatte
CPE-...-PRS-ZP/-EP können unter-
schiedliche Druckzonen oder eine zwei-
seitige Drucklufteinspeisung realisiert
werden.
Der Ventilanschlußblock ist für die
Wand- bzw. Hutschienenmontage vor-
gesehen.

•Compare the specified limit values
with your actual application.
The permitted limit values, e.g. for
pressures and temperatures must not
be exceeded.
•Comply with national and local
safety laws and regulations.
•Unauthorized product modification is
not permitted.
Fitting

Preparation
•First place all the components in the
order in which they are to be fitted.
•Carry out the pressurization of the
valves (e.g. by first drawing a sketch).
Voraussetzungen für den
Produkteinsatz
•Vergleichen Sie die angegebenen Grenz-
werte mit Ihrem aktuellen Einsatzfall.
Die zulässigen Grenzwerte, z.B. für
Drücke und Temperaturen dürfen
nicht überschritten werden.
•Beachten Sie die Vorschriften der Be-
rufsgenossenschaft, des Technischen
Überwachungsvereins oder entspre-
chende nationale Bestimmungen.
•Verwenden Sie das Produkt ohne
jegliche eigenmächtige Veränderung.
Einbau
mechanisch
Vorbereitung
•Plazieren Sie zunächst sämtliche
CPE...-PRS... in deren Montage-
reihenfolge.
•Vollziehen Sie den Druckverlauf
nach (z.B. mit einer Skizze).

You must take into account here those
diaphragms in the compressed air
channels which must be removed in
order to provide an unhindered flow.
If several pressure zones are used,
•make sure that the diaphragms are
not broken through at the interface
of two pressure zones.
Diaphragms which have been broken
through cannot be sealed again.
In order to link the CPE...-PRS...,
•proceed as follows (see Figs. 2
and 3):
1. press the three diaphragms for the
compressed air channels on the
CPE...-PRS... inwards and deburr any
broken edges as shown in the press-
urization sketch.
At rail fitting.
Hang all the CPE-...-PRS... onto the
hat rail in the sequence specified and
press them onto the rail until the
fastening slides clip into place.
Dabei ist zu überlegen, welche Mem-
branen der Druckluftkanäle für einen
ungehinderten Durchfluß entfernt
werden müssen.
Bei Einsatz mehrerer Druckzonen:
•Stellen Sie sicher, daß die Membra-
nen an der Schnittstelle zweier
Druckzonen unversehrt bleiben.
Eingedrückte Membranen können
nicht wieder verschlossen werden.
Zur Verkettung von CPE...-PRS...:
•Vollziehen Sie folgende Schritte
(siehe Bilder 2 und 3):
1. Die drei Membranen der Druckluft-
kanäle am CPE...-PRS... gemäß
Druckverlaufskizze von außen nach
innen eindrücken und Bruchränder
entgraten.
Bei Hutschienenmontage:
Sämtliche CPE-...-PRS... gemäß Mon-
tagereihenfolge einhängen und auf die
Hutschiene drücken bis die Befesti-
gungsschieber einrasten.

2. Place an O-ring between the three
compressed air channels and press
the sub-bases together.
3. Push a connector 1 onto the rail thus
formed on each side until it snaps into
place.
In order to fit the CPE valves,
•proceed as follows:
1. press in all the valve slides 2 until
they snap into the first notch.
2. push a seal onto each compresssed
air output.
3. screw the valve connectors with the
seals fitted into connections 3 and 5 of
the CPE valve.
4. place the CPE valves on the sub-base
(observe the protection against incor-
rect rotation 4 ) press down and at
the same time push the valve slides in-
to the second notch.The slide and the
valve are then flush with each other.
Only in this way can you prevent
non-secured valves from being
pushed out when the sub-base is
pressurized.
2. Je einen O-Ring zwischen die drei
Druckluftkanäle legen und die An-
schlußblöcke zusammendrücken.
3. Auf beiden Seiten ein Verbindungs-
stück 1 bis zum Einrasten auf die
sich gebildete Schiene schieben.
Zur Montage der CPE-Ventile (Bild 4):
•Vollziehen Sie folgende Schritte:
1. Sämtliche Ventilschieber 2 bis zur
ersten Rastung einschieben.
2. Auf jeden Druckluftausgang eine Dich-
tung setzen.
3. Ventilanschluß-Verschraubungen mit
aufgesetztem Dichtring in die An-
schlüsse 3 und 5 des CPE-Ventils
eindrehen.
4. CPE-Ventile auf den Anschlußblock
plazieren (Verdrehsicherung 4 beach-
ten), andrücken und gleichzeitig Ven-
tilschieber in die 2. Rastung einschie-
ben. Ventilschieber und Ventil sind
dann zueinander bündig.
Nur so vermeiden Sie, daß ungesi-
cherte Ventile bei der Belüftung des
Anschlußblocks herausgeschleudert
werden.

Durchführung
•Achten Sie auf verzugsfreien Einbau
verketteter CPE...-PRS... .
•Berücksichtigen Sie genügend Platz
für die benötigten Anschlüsse.
Zur Hutschienenmontage:
•Drehen Sie die Klemmschrauben
des CPE...-PRS... mit der Hutschie-
ne fest.
Zur Wandbefestigung:
•Drehen Sie folgende Anzahl an
Schrauben zur Befestigung ein:

Carrying out the fitting
•Make sure that the linked CPE...-
PRS... are fitted free of distortion.
•Leave sufficient space for the con-
nections.
Fastening onto a hat rail.
•Tighten the locking screws of the
CPE...-PRS... to the hat rail.
Fastening onto a wall.
•Insert the following number of
screws for fastening:

pneumatisch
•Verschlauchen Sie die pneumati-
schen Anschlüsse gemäß Druckver-
laufskizze (vgl. Bild 1). Die An-
schlußgewinde sind abzudichten.
Bei Verwendung von Quick-Star-
Steckverschraubungen:
•Drehen Sie die Verschraubungen mit
einer Lage Dichtband folgender-
maßen:
- zunächst von Hand ein
- dann mit einem Gabelschlüssel
2 Umdrehungen weiter.
Zum Verschließen nicht benötigter
Ventilplätze:
•Verwenden Sie Blindplatten
3 (sie-
he Titelbild) vom Typ CPE-...-PRSB.
Wartung und Pflege
•Reinigen Sie den CPE...-PRS... bei
Bedarf mit den angegebenen Reini-
gungsmitteln:
– Wasser oder Seifenlauge
(max. 60
oC)
– Waschbenzin (aromatenfrei)
pneumatic
•Connect the pneumatic tubing in
accordance with the pressurization
sketch (compare with fig.1).The con-
nection threads must be sealed.
If using Quick-Star plug connectors:
•screw the connectors into the ports
with a layer of sealing tape as fol-
lows:
- at first by hand
- then two turns more with a wrench.
For closing non-required valve
locations:
•use blind plates
3 (see title illustra-
tion) of type CPE-...-PRSB.
Maintenance and care
•Clean the CPE...-PRS... when
required with the cleaning agents
specified.
–water or soap suds (max. 60 oC)
–petroleum ether (free of aromatic
compounds)

Ausbau und Reparatur
Zum Ausbau von CPE-Ventilen:
•Ziehen Sie den Ventilschieber

eine Rastung nach außen.
Zur Demontage verketteter CPE...-
PRS...:
1. CPE-Ventile ausbauen.
2. Rastnase 5 niederdrücken und Ventil-
schieber vollständig aus dem
Anschlußblock ziehen.
3. Einzelteile in umgekehrter Montage-
reihenfolge demontieren.
Zur Hutschienendemontage:
1. CPE-Ventile ausbauen.
2. Klemmschraube lösen.
3. Verkettete CPE...-PRS-... demontieren.
4. Befestigungsschieber der einzelnen
Anschlußblöcke mit einem Schrau-
bendreher nach außen hebeln.
Dismantling and repairs
In order to dismantle the CPE valves,
•pull the valve slide
2 outwards one
notch.
In order to dismantle linked CPE...-
PRS...:
1. remove the CPE valves;
2. press down the locking nose 5 and
pull the valve slide completely away
from the sub-base;
3. dismantle the individual parts
in the reverse order.
Fastening onto a hat rail
1. remove the CPE valves;
2. loosen the locking screws;
3. dismantle linked CPE...-PRS-....;
4. use a screwdriver to lift up the fasten-
ing slides of the individual sub-bases.
