Function
The water detector consists of a monitoring device (1) and a sensor (2). If water wets the sensor, the
monitoring device activates an alarm with an LED (3) and an acoustic signal. At the same time, a
zero-voltage contact for additional alarm devices or devices such as a horn, light signaller or shut-off
valve.
Installation steps
1. Deenergise device
2. Pull off cover
3. Fastening is carried out with two 4 x 40 mm cap screws in diagonally opposite holes (4)
4. Screw on cover
5. Secure sensor (2) on bottom of monitoring area
Switching on
•Sensor must be dry
•Insert mains plug (8) in socket outlet
•LED for operation (9) is green

Connecting zero-voltage contact
1. Deenergise device
2. Pull off cover
3. Replace blind plug (5) with screwed cable gland (6)
4. Insert cable through gland
5. Connect cable for zero-voltage contact to terminal block (7)
Contact via terminal 2 and 3: Closed in case of alarm
Contact via terminal 1 and 3: Open in case of alarm
6. Tighten gland
7. Screw on cover
Alarm test
•Immerse sensor in water.
•ÖLED alarm (3) red and acoustic signal.
•Dry sensor following contact with liquid.
