3. Safety Notes
•Do not use the product in areas where the use of electronic devices is
not permitted.
•Only connect the product to a socket that has been approved for the device.
The socket must be installed close to the product and easily accessible.
•Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all
service work to qualied experts.
•Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.

Warning – Batteries
•Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specied type.
•Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type or make.
•When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and - markings)
and insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the
batteries leaking or exploding.
•Do not overcharge batteries.
•Do not short circuit the batteries/rechargeable batteries and keep them
away from uncoated metal objects.
4. Getting started
4.1 Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment (13), remove the contact breaker and then
close the battery compartment (13).
4.2. Replacing the batteries
•Open the battery compartment (13), remove and properly dispose of the
dead batteries and insert two new AAA batteries with the correct polarity.
Replace the battery compartment (13) cover.
5. Operation
5.1 Automatic date/time setting using the DCF signal
•Once you have inserted the battery, the display is switched on, an acoustic
signal sounds and the alarm clock automatically starts searching for a DCF
signal. During the search, the radio symbol ashes.

Once radio signal receiving is successful, the displayshowsthe symbol
“radio tower“continuously.no ashing. This process can take 7to 5minutes.
•When the wireless signal is received, the date and time are automatically set.

Note – Time settings
•If, during initial setup of the device, no DCF radio signal is received within
the rst few minutes, the search is aborted. The radio icon (6) will go out.
•If there are reception problems, we recommend leaving the clock to sit
overnight, since interference is generally less at night.
•In the meantime, you can start a manual search for the DCF radio signal at
another location or you can manually set the time and date.
•The clock automatically continues to search for the DCF signal on a daily
basis (at 1 am and 5 am). If the signal is received successfully, the manually
set time and date are overwritten.
Press and hold the +/RCC button (10) for approx. 3 seconds to start a manual
search for the DCF radio signal.

Note – Manual search
•The manual search is automatically aborted after 7 minutes.
•Using the RCC button (10) frequently will drain the battery. We recommend
only using this function to seek out an optimal location for the device.
Note – DCF signal
•When not in use, the DCF signal can be switched off by pressing and
holding the +/RCC button (10) for approximately 3 seconds.
Note – Summer time
•The clock automatically switches to summer time. DST (6) appears on the
display as long as summer time is activated.
5.2 Manually setting the date/time
•Press and hold the MODE button (9) for approximately 3 seconds until the
hours display begins to ash.
•Set the following information in the order listed:
•Time zone (+12/-12), Hours, Minutes, Year, Month, Day, Language
•To select the individual values, press the +/RCC button (10) or the -/°C/°F
button (11), and conrm each selection by pressing the MODE button (9).
•Press the MODE button (9) immediately to adopt the set value displayed
and skip ahead.
•If you do not make an entry for 20 seconds, you automatically exit the
setting mode.

Note – Day of the week
•For the weekday display (3), you can choose from the following languages:
German (GER), English (ENG), Italian (ITA), Spanish (ESP), Dutch (NET),
Danish (DAN) and French (FRE).
Note – Time zone
•The DCF signal can be received over long distances, but always transmits
the current Central European Time in Germany. Make sure you account for
the time difference in countries in other time zones.
•If you are in Moscow, the time is 3 hours later than in Germany. This means
that you should set +3 for the time zone. The clock then sets the time
automatically to 3 hours ahead after receiving the DCF signal or according
to the manually set time.
Selecting 12 or 24-hour format
•Press the +/RCC button (10) to switch between the 12 and 24-hour
formats.
Backlight
•Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (12) to light up the display for
approximately 10 seconds.
5.3 Alarm clock
Setting the alarm time
•Press the ALARM button (8) to go to alarm mode.
•Press and hold the ALARM button (8) to set the alarm time for the alarm
displayed. The hours display begins to ash.

•Press the +/RCC button (10) or the -/°C/°F button (11) to select the hour
for the alarm time, and conrm your selection by pressing the ALARM
button (8). The minutes display begins to ash.
•Repeat the process to set the minutes for the alarm time.
•Press the ALARM button (8) repeatedly to go back to the time display.
•If you do not make an entry for 20 seconds, the device automatically exits
the settings mode and the settings you made are saved.
Activating/deactivating the alarm clock
•Press the Alarm button (8) repeatedly to activate/deactivate the alarm time.
•If the alarm is activated, the corresponding symbol is displayed.
Stopping the alarm clock/snooze function
•If the alarm is triggered, an alarm signal will sound for 2 minutes. The
frequency of the alarm signal increases the longer the alarm continues.
•Press the ALARM button (8) to stop the alarm.
Note – Snooze function
•While the alarm signal is sounding, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (12)
to activate the snooze function.

5.4. Temperature indicator
•Press the -/°C/°F button (11) to choose between °C and °F for the
temperature display.

6. Care and Maintenance
•Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use
aggressive cleaning agents.
•Make sure that water does not get into the product.

•Benutzen Sie das Produkt nicht in Bereichen, in denen elektronische
Produkte nicht erlaubt sind.
•Positionieren Sie das Produkt nicht in der Nähe von Störfeldern,
Metallrahmen, Computern und Fernsehern etc. Elektronische Geräte sowie
Fensterrahmen beeinträchtigen die Funktion des Produktes negativ.

•Versuchen Sie nicht, das Produkt selbst zu warten oder zu reparieren.
Überlassen Sie jegliche Wartungsarbeit dem zuständigen Fachpersonal.
•Nehmen Sie keine Veränderungen am Produkt vor. Dadurch verlieren sie
jegliche Gewährleistungsansprüche.
Warnung – Batterien
•Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Akkus (oder Batterien), die dem
angegebenen Typ entsprechen.
•Mischen Sie alte und neue Batterien nicht, sowie Batterien
unterschiedlichen Typs oder Herstellers.
•Beachten Sie unbedingt die korrekte Polarität (Beschriftung +
und -) der Batterien und legen Sie diese entsprechend ein. Bei
Nichtbeachtung besteht die Gefahr des Auslaufens oder einer
Explosion der Batterien.
•Laden Sie Batterien nicht.
•Schließen Sie Akkus/Batterien nicht kurz und halten Sie sie von blanken
Metallgegenständen fern.
4. Inbetriebnahme
4.1 Batterien einlegen
•Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung (13), entfernen Sie den
Kontaktunterbrecher und schließen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung
(13) wieder.

4.2. Batterien wechseln
•Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach (13), entnehmen und entsorgen Sie die
verbrauchten Batterien und legen Sie zwei neue AAA Batterien polrichtig
ein. Schließen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung (13) anschließend.
5. Betrieb
5.1. Automatische Einstellung Datum/ Uhrzeit nach DCF-Signal
•Nach dem Einlegen der Batterie wird das Display eingeschaltet, es ertönt ein
akustisches Signal und der Wecker beginnt automatisch die Suche nach einem
DCF-Signal. Während des Suchvorgangs blinkt das Funksymbol auf.
•Nach erfolgreichem Signalempfang wird das „Funkturm“-Symbol dauerhaft
eingeblendet und hört auf zu blinken. Dieser Vorgang kann bis zu 7
Minuten dauern.
•Bei Empfang des Funksignals werden Datum und Uhrzeit automatisch
eingestellt.

Hinweis – Uhrzeiteneinstellung
•Wird innerhalb der ersten Minuten während der Ersteinrichtung kein
DCF-Funksignal empfangen, wird die Suche beendet. Das Funksymbol
(5) erlischt.

•Bei Empfangsstörungen wird empfohlen, die Uhr über Nacht stehen zu
lassen, da hier die Störsignale in der Regel geringer sind.
•Sie können währenddessen eine manuelle Suche nach dem DCF-Funksignal
an einem anderen Aufstellungsort starten oder die manuelle Einstellung
von Uhrzeit und Datum vornehmen.
•Die Uhr sucht automatisch weiterhin täglich (zwischen 01.00-05.00
Uhr) nach dem DCF-Signal. Bei erfolgreichem Signalempfang werden die
manuell eingestellte Uhrzeit und das Datum überschrieben.
Drücken und halten Sie die +/RCC-Taste (10) für ca. 3 Sekunden, um die
manuelle Suche nach dem DCF-Funksignal zu starten.
Hinweis – Manueller Suchvorgang
•Der manuelle Suchvorgang schaltet sich automatisch nach 7 Minuten ab.
•Eine häuge Nutzung der RCC-Taste (10) geht zu Lasten der Batteriekapazität.
Es wird empfohlen, diese Funktion nur zur Ausmachung eines optimalen
Aufstellungsorts zu nutzen.
Hinweis – DCF-Signal
•Bei Nichtgebrauch kann durch Drücken und Halten der +/RCC-Taste (10)
für ca. 3 Sek. das DCF-Signal ausgeschaltet werden.
Hinweis – Sommerzeit
•Die Uhrzeit stellt sich automatisch auf die Sommerzeit um. Solange die
Sommerzeit aktiv ist, wird auf dem Display DST (6) angezeigt.

5.2. Manuelle Einstellung Datum/Uhrzeit
•Drücken und halten Sie die MODE-Taste (9) für ca. 3 Sekunden, bis die
Stundenanzeige zu blinken beginnt.
•Stellen Sie die folgenden Informationen nacheinander ein:
•Zeitzone (+ 12/ - 12), Stunden, Minuten, Jahr, Monat, Tag, Sprache
•Drücken Sie zum Auswählen der einzelnen Werte die +/RCC-Taste (10)
oder die -/°C/°F-Taste (11) und bestätigen Sie die jeweilige Auswahl durch
Drücken der MODE-Taste (9).
•Drücken Sie direkt die MODE-Taste (9), um den angezeigten
Einstellungswert zu übernehmen und zu überspringen.
•Erfolgt 20 Sekunden keine Eingabe, wird der Einstellungsmodus
automatisch verlassen.
Hinweis – Wochentag
•Sie können für die Wochentaganzeige (3) die Sprachen Deutsch (GER),
Englisch (ENG), Italienisch (ITA), Spanisch (ESP), Niederländisch (NET),
Dänisch (DAN) oder Französisch (FRE) wählen.
Hinweis – Zeitzone
•Das DCF-Signal kann weitläug empfangen werden, entspricht jedoch
immer der MEZ, die in Deutschland gilt. Beachten Sie daher, dass Sie in
Ländern mit anderer Zeitzone die Zeitverschiebung beachten.
•Benden Sie sich in Moskau, ist es dort bereits 3 Stunden später als in
Deutschland. Stellen Sie daher bei der Zeitzone +3 ein. Die Uhr stellt sich
dann immer nach Empfang des DCF-Signals bzw. in Bezug auf die manuell
eingestellte Uhrzeit automatisch 3 Stunden weiter.

•Drücken Sie die +/RCC-Taste (10), um zwischen dem 12- oder
24-Stundenformat zu wechseln.
Hintergrundbeleuchtung
•Drücken Sie die SNOOZE/LIGHT-Taste (12), wird das Display für ca. 10
Sekunden beleuchtet.
5.3 Wecker
Einstellung Weckzeit
•Drücken Sie die ALARM-Taste (8), um in den Alarmmodus zu gelangen.
•Drücken und Halten Sie die ALARM-Taste (8), um die Weckzeit des
angezeigten Alarms einzustellen. Die Stundenanzeige beginnt zu blinken.
•Drücken Sie die +/RCC-Taste (10) oder die -/°C/°F-Taste (11), um die
Stunden der Weckzeit auszuwählen und bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch
Drücken der ALARM-Taste (8). Die Minutenanzeige beginnt zu blinken.
•Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang für die Minuten der Weckzeit.
•Drücken Sie wiederholt die ALARM-Taste (8), um zurück zur Anzeige der
Uhrzeit zu gelangen.
•Erfolgt 20 Sekunden keine Eingabe, wird der Einstellungsmodus
automatisch verlassen und die vorgenommenen Einstellungen gespeichert.
Aktivierung/Deaktivierung Wecker
•Drücken Sie wiederholt die Alarm-Taste (8), um die Weckzeit zu aktivieren/
deaktivieren.
•Bei aktiver Weckzeit wird das entsprechende Symbol angezeigt.

Wecker beenden/Schlummerfunktion
•Wird der Wecker entsprechend ausgelöst, ertönt ein 2-minütiges Wecksignal. Die
Häugkeit des ertönenden Signals steigt mit zunehmender Dauer des Alarms.
•Drücken Sie die ALARM-Taste (8), um den Alarm zu beenden.
Hinweis – Schlummerfunktion
•Drücken Sie während des Wecksignals die SNOOZE/LIGHT-Taste (12), um die
Schlummerfunktion zu aktivieren. Auf dem Display beginnt zu blinken. Das
Wecksignal wird für 10 Minuten unterbrochen und dann erneut ausgelöst.
5.4. Temperaturanzeige
•Drücken Sie die -/°C/°F -Taste (11), um bei der Temperaturanzeige
zwischen °C und °F zu wechseln.
6. Wartung und Pflege
Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien, leicht feuchten Tuch und
verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in
das Produkt eindringt.

Avertissement concernant les piles
•Utilisez exclusivement des batteries (ou des piles) du type indiqué.
•N’utilisez pas simultanément des piles usagées et des piles neuves ou
des piles de différents types.
•Respectez impérativement la polarité de la pile (marquage + et -) lors
de l'insertion dans le boîtier ; risques d'écoulement et d'explosion des
piles si tel n'est pas le cas.
•Ne surchargez pas les piles.
•Ne court-circuitez pas les batteries/piles et éloignez-les des objets
métalliques.
4. Mise en service
4.1. Insertion des piles
•Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à piles (13), retirez le lm de
protection, puis refermez le couvercle du compartiment (13).
4.2. Remplacement des piles
•Ouvrez le compartiment à piles (13), retirez et éliminez les piles
déchargées, puis insérez deux nouvelles piles LR03/AAA en respectant les
indications de polarité. Refermez le couvercle du compartiment à pile (13).
