Safety Glasses Ratchet
Wrench
Flat
Screwdriver
Phillips
Screwdriver
Rubber Mallet Allen Wrench
Nose Plier Snap Ring

Steps:
1. To remove the frame cap,
the frame cap.
2. Pull off the frame cap.
Where possible, plastic components are marked with ASTM recycling codes. Use
these codes to identify material type for recycling. Non marked components should
for recycling. Non-ferrous metals should be separated and recycled separately.

4. Release the back seat
snaps from seat frame.
5. Remove seat back from
the back seat frame.
3. Using a T-30 Torx allen
wrench remove both side
screws from seat frame.
6. Using needle nose pliers,
remove height adjustment
cable from cable tting and
slide cable T-end from height
adjust lever.

7. Using a straight head
screwdriver, pry retaining
clip from seat frame and set
clip aside. Repeat to remove
from other side.
8. Hold down adjustable
slide lever on adjustable
seat.
9. Slide seat forward until
interlock tabs on seat are
fully disengaged from
interlock tabs on seat
linkage.
10. Disengage the height
adjustment slide lever snaps
by hand from seat frame
and pull off.

14. Using ratchet wrench
and T-40 torx bit, remove
and save screws securing
back support to tilt housing.
Repeat for opposite back
support.
12. Using hand pull off the
seat angle lever.
13. Using hand pull off the
tilt limit lever.
11. Using a snap ring plier,
remove snap ring, washer
and foam spacer.

15. Using a straight head
screwdriver, pry bottom of
frame insert up and out of
each support frame. Slide
back support frames
partially out of tilt .
16. Using a T-20 Torx head
screwdriver remove the
screw from frame insert.
Repeat the step to remove
the screw from other side
frame.
17. Remove frame inserts
and remove lumbar from
back support frames.
18. Remove both side seat
frames.

19. Using allen wrench
remove the two screws from
steel weldment.
20. Remove the steel
weldment.
21. Use straight head screw-
driver, pry up and remove
x-mas tree clip, securing
rear tilt cover to tilt housing.
Dispose of x-mas tree clip
properly.

22. Pull exible cover back
and up. Slowly lift cover to
disengage remaining exible
interlock features and set
cover aside.
23. Using ratchet wrench
and T-40 Torx bit, remove
the screws from the tilt
assembly.
24. Remove arm from tilt
assembly.
25. Insert small straight
head screwdriver into hole
on inside of xed arm. Push
inward to release internal
latch holding xed arm in
place.

26.Lift xed arm assembly
up off arm support stem.
27. Slide arm pad to
outermost position and insert
straight head screwdriver
against inside of retainer
clip. Pry clip outward while
lifting up on arm pad.
28. Remove arm pad
properly.
29. Using ratchet and T-27
Torx bit, remove and save
screws (noted) that secure
one side of seat linkage
assembly to tilt assembly.
Repeat for opposite side of
seat linkage assembly.

30. Using ratchet and T-40
Torx bit, remove seat linkage
pivot bolts and bushings.
Remove seat linkage side
covers from tilt assembly.
31. Remove tilt tension
adjustment knob by pulling
knob from shaft by hand.
32. Insert a screwdriver
behind the tilt cover push
forward and remove the tilt
cover.
33. Using needle nose
pliers, remove & save height
adjust cable from top of
pneumatic cylinder.

34. Place pneumatic
cylinder knock out tool with
open end over end of
pneumatic cylinder. Make
sure tool rests squarely on
top rim of pneumatic
cylinder.
35. Support tilt/base
cylinder knock out tool
sharply with a medium size
hammer to dislodge
pneumatic cylinder from tilt.
37. Pull off the base cap from
cylinder.
36. Disengage the snaps
from the base if present.

38. Using straight head
screwdriver, pry off retainer
clip from bottom of base and
set aside.
39. Using straight head
screwdriver, pry up on base
weldment with screwdriver
blade in slot as shown. To
disengage leg of base
weldment from cover.
Repeat for remaining legs.

40. Remove cover from
base weldment and set
aside.

41. follow this step after step
39 to remove the foot ring.
Pull off the base from cylin-
der.
43. Incase of working stool,
take out the footring from
cylinder after removing the
base, shown in step 42.
42. Hold base and pull hard
to remove caster from base.
44. Remove fabric from
back.
