PERICOLO PER I BAMBINI!
• Un apparecchio elettrico non è un giocattolo. Utilizzar-
lo e riporlo fuori dalla portata dei bambini. I componenti
dell’imballaggio (eventuali sacchetti in plastica, carto-
ni, ecc.) devono essere tenuti lontani dalla portata dei
bambini.
• Il presente apparecchio non è adatto a persone (bam-
bini compresi) con ridotte capacità fi siche, sensoriali,
psichiche o senza esperienza e/o competenza, a ecce-
zione del caso in cui l’utilizzo avvenga sotto il controllo

PERICOLO SCOSSA ELETTRICA!
• Questo apparecchio è concepito per funzionare unica-
mente a corrente alternata. Prima di metterlo in funzione
assicurarsi che la tensione di rete corrisponda a quella
indicata sulla targhetta dati.
• Collegare l’apparecchio SOLO a prese di corrente
aventi portata minima 10 Ampere.
• Non tirate il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio
stesso per togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.
• Svolgere completamente il cavo di alimentazione elet-
trica prima di mettere in funzione l’apparecchio.
• Utilizzare una prolunga elettrica solo se in perfetto stato.
• Non lasciare mai scorrere il cavo di alimentazione su spi-
goli taglienti; evitare di schiacciarlo.
• Non lasciare l’apparecchio esposto ad agenti atmosferici
(pioggia, gelo, sole, ecc.).
• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio:
o con le mani bagnate o umide;
o se è caduto e presenta evidenti rotture o anomalie di
funzionamento;
o se la spina o il cavo di alimentazione elettrica è difettoso;
o in ambienti umidi o saturi di gas.
• Non coprire l’apparecchio con asciugamani, indumenti,
ecc.
• Collocare l’apparecchio solo su piani di appoggio oriz-
zontali e stabili, lontano da docce, vasche da bagno, la-
vandini, ecc.
• Se l’apparecchio dovesse cadere in acqua, estrarre im-
mediatamente la spina e solo successivamente prendere
l’apparecchio. In questo caso non utilizzare più l’apparec-
chio, ma farlo controllare da un laboratorio specializzato.
Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo in posizione verticale.
• Togliere SEMPRE la spina dalla rete di alimentazione
elettrica immediatamente dopo l’uso e prima di eseguire
qualsiasi intervento di pulizia o manutenzione.
• Le eventuali riparazioni devono essere eseguite solo da
un tecnico specializzato.
• Riparare da sé l’apparecchio può essere estremamente
pericoloso.
• Un apparecchio fuori uso deve essere reso inutilizzabile,
tagliando il cavo di alimentazione elettrica, prima di but-
tarlo.
• Pulire l’apparecchio utilizzando un panno umido. Non
usare solventi o detersivi abrasivi.
• L’apparecchio è concepito per l’uso domestico.
• Il presente apparecchio non deve essere impiegato per
scopi commerciali.

Questo ferro è un dispositivo elettrico, si prega di prestare attenzione seguendo queste istruzioni di sicurezza:
- Utilizzare il ferro da viaggio soltanto come descritto in questo manuale. Si prega di conservare queste istruzioni.
- Non utilizzare il ferro da viaggio se il fi lo è danneggiato o se non funziona correttamente, se è caduto o è
danneggiato o è caduto nell’acqua. Portare il ferro da viaggio in un centro di servizi per controllarlo e ripararlo.
- Questo ferro da viaggio non è indicato per l’utilizzo all’aperto.
- Non toccare la piastra o il ferro quando è acceso.
Per la miglior funzionalità del vostro ferro da viaggio, è consigliabile stirare per 10 minuti su un panno vecchio, poi
svuotare il serbatoio e riempirlo.
- Alcune parti del ferro sono state ingrassate di conseguenza il ferro potrebbe fare un po’ di fumo la prima volta. Dopo
un breve momento il fenomeno cesserà.
- Prima di utilizzarlo per la prima volta, pulire la piastra con un soffi ce panno di lino.
- Non inserire la spina nella presa di corrente indicata per rasoi elettrici (nei paesi anglosassoni) o potreste rischiare di
sovraccaricare il circuito.
- Il ferro da viaggio è adatto ad un voltaggio tra 120 e 130V.
- Il vostro ferro da viaggio è pronto all’uso.
In assenza della tavola da stiro, stendere un doppio asciugamano su una superfi cie piana e stabile, resistente al
calore e all’umidità. Non utilizzare una superfi cie di vetro o di plastica.
- Assicurarsi che la spina del ferro sia disinserita con l’impugnatura in posizione verticale.
- Impostare la temperatura richiesta ruotando la manopola.
- Posizionare il ferro da stiro in posizione verticale.
- Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente
- Dopo un periodo di preriscaldamento di circa 2 minuti, potete iniziare a stirare.


USER INSTRUCTIONS
FOR A CORRECT AND SAFE USE OF THE APPLIANCE
STIRARE A VAPORE E CON LO SPRUZZATORE:
Riempire con l’acqua (per il gettito del vapore, utile per rimuovere le pieghe persistenti).
- Assicurarsi che la spina del ferro sia disinserita.
- La prima volta, riempire il serbatoio con acqua del rubinetto (nel caso in cui l’acqua sia particolarmente pesante, è
consigliabile utilizzare l’acqua distillata).
- Sollevare delicatamente il tappo del serbatoio, appendere il tappo sul sostegno.
- Utilizzare il beccuccio per inserire l’acqua nel serbatoio, non eccedere oltre il livello massimo come indicato
sull’impugnatura in modo da evitare fuoriuscite. Reinserire il tappo del serbatoio.
- Il pulsante del gettito del vapore può essere utilizzato impostando una gamma di temperatura elevata da ºº a ººº.
- Premendo il pulsante del vapore, un gettito intenso di vapore è emesso dalla piastra.
- Per mantenere l’appropriata temperatura e una buona qualità, lasciare un intervallo di 2-3 secondi dopo ogni
spruzzata.
- Se l’acqua fuoriesce dalla piastra del ferro da stiro, lasciar scaldare il ferro per 30-60 secondi prima di continuare a
stirare.
INFORMAZIONI GENERALI SULLA TEMPERATURA DEL FERRO:
PULIZIA:
- Verifi care sempre sugli indumenti le istruzioni per la stiratura seguendo sempre i consigli forniti.
- Se un indumento è composto da un misto di fi bre, utilizzare sempre la miglior impostazione del ferro per la
composizione delle fi bre.
- Il velluto e altri tessuti che richiedono lucentezza dovrebbero essere stirati in una direzione soltanto, applicando solo
una leggera pressione. Tenere sempre il ferro in movimento.
- Stirare sul lato di riserva per i materiali sintetici e seta per evitare zone lucide.
- Dopo aver terminato di stirare, impostare la temperatura a MIN e disinserire la spina.
- Lasciare raff reddare il ferro per almeno 30 minuti.
- Per una conservazione compatta, premere il pulsante di rilascio e mettere la maniglia in posizione piegata.
- Prima della pulizia assicurarsi che il ferro si sia raff reddato.
- Pulire con un panno umido.
- Ogni tanto pulire l’interno del serbatoio riempiendolo con l’acqua e agitando, dopodiché rimuovere l’acqua.

• The appliance is not suited for persons (as well as
children) physically, mentally, sensory disabled, or with
no experience, unless they have been supervised or di-
rected by someone responsible of their safety.
• Children should be supervised to make sure they do
not play with the appliance.

• To avoid injuries, do not introduce your hands in
the machine while it is operating and keep away hair,
clothes and other objects.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance before changing
the accessories! Do not connect the plug to the power
socket if the necessary accessories are not installed.
• Never touch the moving parts of the appliance and
always wait for the appliance to stop completely.

• This appliance is intended to work only with AC. Befo-
re operating, make sure that mains voltage rating corre-
sponds to the value indicated on the rating plate of the
product.
• Connect the appliance ONLY to outlets with a mini-
mum electric current of 10 Ampere.
• Do not pull the power cord or the appliance itself in
order to unplug it from the outlet.
• Unwind completely the power cord before switching on
the appliance.
• Use an extension cord only if it is in perfect conditions.
• Do not let the cord hang over sharp edges. Do not squa-
sh it.

• Never use the appliance:

This steam iron is an electric device, please follow these safety instructions:
- Use the travel steam iron only as described in this manual. Please keep these instructions.
- Do not use the travel steam iron if the cord is damaged, if the appliance doesn’t work properly, if it has been
dropped, if it is damaged or if it has fallen into the water. Have the device checked and repaired in a service centre.
- This travel steam iron is not suitable for outdoor use.
- Do not touch the soleplate nor the iron itself when the appliance is on.
For a better performance of the travel steam iron, do as follows: iron on an old cloth for 10 minutes, empty the tank,
then fi ll it again.
- Some parts of the steam iron have been slightly oiled, therefore the appliance may emit some smoke when used for
the fi rst time. The smoke will stop in few minutes.
- Before the fi rst use, clean the soleplate with a soft linen cloth.
- Do not connect the plug to the power socket for electric shavers, otherwise the circuit may be overloaded.
- This steam iron is suited for 120-130V voltage.
- The steam iron is ready to use.
If you don’t have an ironing board, place a double towel on a level, stable, heat- and humidity-resistant surface.
Do not iron on glass or plastic surfaces.
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged and the handle is in the vertical position.
- Turn the knob to set the desired temperature.
- Position the iron upright.
- Connect the appliance to a power socket.
- Wait about 2 minutes for the iron to heat up, then you can start ironing.


STEAM IRONING WITH STEAM BURST:
Fill the tank with water (it is necessary to use the steam burst to remove diffi cult creases).
- Make sure the iron is unplugged.
- The fi rst time, fi ll the tank with tap water (if tap water is particularly hard, it is recommended to use distilled water).
- Open the tank cap carefully and hang it on the cap holder.
- Fill the tank using the water pourer. Do not exceed the maximum level mark on the handle in order to avoid leakages.
Close the tank with the cap.
- To use the steam burst, set a high temperature between ºº and ººº.
- Press the steam button and a strong steam burst will come out of the soleplate.
- To maintain the right temperature and a good intensity, wait 2-3 seconds after each burst.
- If some water comes out of the soleplate, let the steam iron heat up for 30-60 seconds before you start ironing
again.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE STEAM IRON TEMPERATURE:
CLEANING:
- Before ironing a garment, check the label with the ironing directions and follow the indications.
- If a garment is made from a mixture of fi bres, always use the most suitable setting of the steam iron for the mixture
of fi bres.
- Iron velvet and other materials requiring shine in just one direction and making just a little pressure.
Move constantly the iron.
- Iron silk and synthetic materials inside out in order to avoid shine.
- When you fi nish ironing, set the temperature to MIN position and unplug the appliance.
- Let the steam iron cool down for at least 30 minutes.
- For the compact option, press the release button and fold the handle.
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Once in a while, clean also the tank: fi ll it with water, shake it, fi nally empty the tank.
