MISSION FIRESIDE BENCH
These instructions will work for both the Large and Small bench.
Thank you for purchasing our Mission Fireside Bench. Assembly
of this product requires a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer. We
have found it helpful to have a second person assist with assembly.

STEP 1
Read through these instructions
thoroughly. We have found this to be of
great value when first assembling this
product.
STEP 2
Remove all parts and hardware from
packing material. Place wooden parts on
non-abrasive surface (like carpet or
carton) to prevent damage to finish.
Identify all parts using diagram at right.
STEP 3
Identify and count hardware using
diagram at right.
Assembly of this product requires a
Phillips screwdriver and a hammer. We
have found it helpful to have a second
person assist with assembly.
STEP 4
Lay top (A) upside down and attach one
side assembly (B) to ends of top skirt
using predrilled pilot holes with two 2"
screws. Thread screws into countersunk
holes in Side Assembly (B) and into end
of skirt. Do not tighten screws at this
time.

STEP 5
Attach second Side Assembly (B) using
same technique as in STEP 4.
STEP 6
Attach shelf (C) to each side assembly
stretcher with four 1 1/4" screws. Thread
screws into predrilled holes in side
assembly and into predrilled holes in
shelf ends.
STEP 7
Stand unit upright. Tighten ALL
screws securely. Tap wooden plugs into
holes in side assemblies with hammer to
conceal screws.

CARE
Dust as needed with soft cloth. Clean with
damp cloth and mild solution of dish soap.
Polish with soft cloth and polish that
contains no pigment or silicone.
