MISSION MORRIS CHAIR
Thank you for purchasing our Mission Morris Chair.
Assembly of this product requires a Phillips screwdriver
and a hammer. We have found it helpful to have a
second person assist with assembly.

STEP 1
Read through these instructions thoroughly
before beginning assembly. We have found
this to be of great value when first
assembling this product.
STEP 2
Remove all parts and hardware from
packing material. Wooden pieces should be
placed on a non-abrasive surface (like the
carton or carpet) to prevent damage to the
finish.
STEP 3
Identify all parts using diagram at right
(1) Right Side Assembly (A)
(1) Left Side Assembly (B)
(1) Front Stretcher (C)
(1) Back Stretcher (D)
(1) Seat (E)
(1) Back Assembly (F)
(2) Arms (G)
(1) Back Support (H)
STEP 4
Identify and count hardware using diagram
at right.
Assembly of this product requires a Phillips
screwdriver. We have found it helpful to
have a second person present in at least one
step of the assembly.
STEP 5
Assemble front stretcher assembly (C) to
left side assembly (B) by threading (2) 2”
screws through leg and into pilot holes in
stretcher.
*NOTE
The front stretcher is shorter and gets
assembled with cleat to the top.

STEP 6
Repeat with back stretcher (D) using 1 ½”
screws
*NOTE
The back stretcher is longer and gets
assembled with the cleat going to the
bottom.
STEP 7
Using same technique as step 5 and step 6
assemble right side assembly (A) to front
and back stretcher.
STEP 8
Assemble seat (E) to stretcher cleats (with
pilot holes to the back) using (8) 1” screws.

STEP 9
Install hinges to back support
(F) using (4) 5/8” screws.
Then attach hinges to the
pilot holes in the seat using
the (4) remaining 5/8”
screws.
STEP 10
Assemble arms (G) to chair using (4) 1 ½”
screws. Thread screws through the
predrilled holes in arms and into pilot holes
in leg. Ensure that the larger space between
hole and edge of arm goes in the back.
STEP 11
Place back support in slot for back chair
adjustment.
CARE
Dust as needed with a soft cloth. Clean
with damp cloth and mild solution of dish
soap. Polish with soft cloth and polish that
contains no pigments or silicone.
