MISSION STORAGE CONSOLE
Thank you for purchasing our Mission Storage Console. Assembly of this product
requires a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer. We have found it helpful to have a
second person present in at least one step of the assembly

STEP 1
Read through these instructions
thoroughly before beginning
assembly. We have found this to be
of great value when assembling this
product.
STEP 2
Remove all parts and hardware from
packing material. Wooden pieces
should be placed on a non abrasive
surface (like the carton or carpet) to
prevent damage to the finish.
STEP 3
Identify all parts using diagram at
right.
STEP 4
Identify and count hardware using diagrams
at right.
Assembly of this product requires a phillips
screwdriver and a hammer. We have found
it helpful to have a second person assist in
the assembly of this product.
The 42” wide Mission Storage Console has
two sets of drawer hardware.

STEP 5: Base assembly
Lay first side assembly (A) on edge. Align pilot
holes in edge of bottom shelf (B) with predrilled
holes in uprights of side assembly (A). Secure by
threading two 1 1/4" #8 wood screws through holes
in side assembly (A) and into pilot holes in end of
bottom shelf (B). Do not fully tighten screws at this
time.
STEP 6: Base assembly
Repeat Step 5 to attach second side assembly (A) to
bottom shelf (B). Set aside.
In further steps, this will be referred to as 'base
assembly (AB).'
STEP 7: Center assembly
Lay first center side assembly (C) on edge. Align
pilot holes in end of fixed shelf (D) with predrilled
holes in center side assembly (C). Ensure that
drawer guide faces fixed shelf. Secure with two 1
1/4" #8 screws. Tighten securely.
STEP 8
Repeat Step 7 to attach second center side assembly
(C) to fixed shelf (D). Tighten screws securely.
This assembly will be referred to in subsequent steps
as 'center assembly (CD).'

STEP 9
Cover screws in center assembly (CD) with wood
plugs. Tap plugs gently with hammer to secure.
STEP 10
Turn base assembly (AB) upright. Place 4 wood
pins in predrilled holes in bottom shelf (B).
STEP 11
Align pins with predrilled holes in ends of center
assembly sides (C) and slide center assembly (CD)
into place.

STEP 12
Place wood pins into predrilled holes in top of center
assembly (CD) as shown.
STEP 13
Have second person assist with aligning predrilled
holes in underside of top (E) with pins in top of
center assembly (CD). Secure top using four 1 1/4"
#8 screws. Thread screws through predrilled holes
in corners of top (E) and into pilot holes in top ends
of base assembly (AB).
Tighten all screws (including those left loose in
Steps 5 and 6) securely and cover screw holes with
wood plugs. Tap wood plugs gently with hammer to
secure.
STEP 14
Place wood pins into each of the holes in the faces
of the uprights of both the base assembly (AB) and
center assembly (CD) as shown. These will support
the removable shelves.

STEP 15
Place removable shelves (F and G) on wood pins,
ensuring that grooves in underside of shelf engage
pins. You may accommodate different sizes of
books, etc., by removing shelves and pins.
STEP 16
Attach drawer hardware as shown at right.
Place drawer (H) into position in the top section of
center assembly (CD).
CARE
Dust as needed with soft cloth. Clean with damp
cloth and mild solution of dish soap. Polish with
soft cloth and polish that contains no pigments or
silicone.
