LifeGear Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in
material and workmanship when used for the purpose intended, under the conditions that it
has been installed and operated in accordance with LifeGear's Owner's Manual. LifeGear's
obligation under this warranty is limited to replacing or repairing, free of charge, any parts
which may prove to be defective under normal home use. This warranty does not include
any damage caused by improper operation, misuse or commercial application.
From the date of purchase, the frame is warranted to be free from defects for 1 (one) year.
This warranty is extended only to the original owner and is not transferable.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Basic precautions should always be followed, including the following safety
instructions when using this equipment: Read all instructions before using this
equipment.
1. Read all the instructions in this manual and do warm up exercises before using this
equipment.
2. Before exercise, in order to avoid injuring the muscle, warm-up exercise of every
position of the body is necessary. Refer to Warm Up and Cool Down Routine page.
After exercise, relaxation of the body is suggested for cool-down.
3. Please make sure all parts are not damaged and fixed well before use. This
equipment should be placed on a flat surface when using. Using a mat or other
covering material on the ground is recommended.
4. Please wear proper clothes and shoes when using this equipment; do not wear clothes
that might catch any part of the equipment; remember to tighten the pedaling straps.
5. Do not attempt any maintenance or adjustments other than those described in this
manual. Should any problems arise, discontinue use and consult an Authorized
Service Representative.
6. Do not use the equipment outdoors.
7. This equipment is for household use only.
8. Only one person should be on the equipment while in use.
9. Keep children and pets away from the equipment while in use. This machine is
designed for adults only. The minimum free space required for safe operation is not
less than two meters.
10. If you feel any chest pains, nausea, dizziness, or short of breath, you should stop
exercising immediately and consult your physician before continuing.
11. The maximum weight capacity for this product is 110kgs.

This is especially important for the persons who are over 35 years old or who have
pre-existing health problems. Read all instructions before using any fitness
equipment.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Operate according to your own condition.
2. Adjusting the tension control knob:
To increase the load, turn the tension control knob in a clockwise direction.
To decrease the load, turn the tension control knob in a counterclockwise direction.
3. Adjusting the adjustable leveler:
Turn the adjustable levelers on the rear stabilizer as needed to level the bike.
4. Adjusting the handlebar:
Hold Handlebar while loosening the T-Knob. Adjust Handlebar to the desired position
and turn the T-Knob in a clockwise direction to tighten.
Note: Continue to turn the T-Knob until Handlebar is secure before exercising.
5. Adjusting the seat post:
Turn the locking knob in a counterclockwise direction and then pull out the locking knob.
Lock the seat post in place by releasing the locking knob and sliding the seat post up or
down slightly until the locking knob "pops" down into the locked position. For added
safety, tighten the locking knob in a clockwise direction.
NOTE: When adjusting the height of seat post, the maximum insert depth mark
line cannot higher than the edge of bushing.
6. Adjusting the seat cushion:
Release the round knob and then slide the seat cushion forth or back direction for the
suitable position. Tighten the round knob after adjustment.
7. Sitting pose: sit on the seat cushion when exercising, please tighten the pedaling straps
and hold the handlebar with hands, adjust your posture according to your exercise
speed and intensity.
COMPUTER OPERATION
HOW TO INSTALL THE BATTERIES:
1. Remove the battery cover at the rear of computer.
2. Place two "SIZE-AA" or "UM-3" batteries into the battery
housing.
3. Insure batteries are correctly positioned and battery springs are
proper contact with batteries.
4. Re-install the battery cover.
5. If the display is illegible or only partial segment appear, remove
batteries and wait 15 seconds before reinstalling.
6. Removing batteries will erase the memory of monitor.
FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS:
AUTO ON /OFF: Pedaling or press any button on the computer, the computer will turn on.
If you leave the equipment for 4 minutes, the power will turn off automatically.

BUTTON FUNCTIONS:
MODE: To select each function of computer. SCAN→TMR→SPD→CAL→P→DIS→ODO.
Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds will reset all functional values to zero
except the ODO function.
SET: To select each function (time, calories, pulse, or distance) for target presetting.
UP: To make upward adjustment for presetting target training time, calories, pulse, or
distance.
DOWN: To make backward adjustment for presetting target training time, calories, pulse, or
distance.
PAUSE: To pause the computer, press the PAUSE button on the computer. To resume
operating the computer, press the PAUSE button again.
RESET: Press the RESET button will reset time, calories, pulse, or distance functional
values to zero for target presetting. Press and hold the RESET button for 3
seconds will reset all functional values to zero except the ODO function.
COMPUTER FUNCTIONS:
SCAN: Press the MODE button until SCAN appears on the screen; the computer will
automatically scan each function of TMR (TIMER), SPD (SPEED), CAL (CALORIES), P,
(PULSE), DIS (DISTANCE), and ODO (ODOMETER) in sequence with change every 6
seconds.
TMR (TIMER): Displays your elapsed workout time in minutes and seconds. When you
start pedaling, time starts counting up from 0:00 to 99:59 per 1 second increment.
You may also preset target time before training. Press the SET button to select TMR
function when it is flash and then press the UP or DOWN button to preset target time. If you
do not press the UP or DOWN button to preset target time within 4 seconds, the computer
will switch into the SCAN mode automatically. Each increment is 1 minute. Press the
RESET button to reset the target values of time to zero. The preset target time range is
from 0:00 to 99:00 minutes. When desired time is set press the SET button. Once you
preset target time and then start pedaling, time starts counting down from preset target time
to 0:00 per 1 second backward. When the preset target time counts down to 0:00, the
computer will begin beeping to remind you. Time will start to count up immediately.
SPD (SPEED): Display the current running speed from 0.0 to 199.9 km/h.
CAL (CALORIE): Displays the total accumulated calories burned during workout. When
you start pedaling, calorie starts counting up from 0.0 to 999.9 calories.
You may also preset target calories before training. Press the SET button to select CAL

function when it is flash and then press the UP or DOWN button to preset target calories. If
you do not press the UP or DOWN button to preset target calories within 4 seconds, the
computer will switch into the SCAN mode automatically. Each increment is 1 calorie.
Press the RESET button to reset the target values of calorie to zero. The preset target
calorie range is from 0.0 to 999.0 calories. When desired calorie is set press the SET
button. Once you preset target calories and then start pedaling, calories start counting
down from preset target calories to 0.0 per 0.1 calorie backward. When the preset target
calories count down to 0.0, the computer will begin beeping to remind you. Calorie will start
to count up immediately.
P (PULSE): The computer will display your current heart rate figures and a flash heart
symbol in 4-5 seconds after you hold both two hands on handlebar grip sensors during
exercise. If you do not hold both two hands on handlebar grip sensors, the PULSE window
will display P.
You may also preset target pulse before training. Press the SET button to select P function
when it is flash and then press the UP or DOWN button to preset target pulse. If you do not
press the UP or DOWN button to preset target pulse within 4 seconds, the computer will
switch into the SCAN mode automatically. Each increment is 1 beat per minute (bpm).
The preset target pulse range is from 90 to 220 bpm. When desired pulse is set press the
SET button. Once you preset target pulse and then start pedaling, as soon as your current
heart rate is exceed your preset target heart rate, the computer will begin beeping to remind
you. To ensure the pulse readout is more precise, please always hold two hands instead of
just one hand only when you try to test your heart rate figures.
DIS (DISTANCE): Displays the accumulative distance traveled during workout. When you
start pedaling, distance starts counting up from 0.0 to 999.9 km per 0.1 km increment.
You may also preset target distance before training. Press the SET button to select DIS
function when it is flash and then press the UP or DOWN button to preset target distance. If
you do not press the UP or DOWN button to preset target distance within 4 seconds, the
computer will switch into the SCAN mode automatically. Each increment is 1.0 km. Press
the RESET button to reset the target values of distance to zero. The preset target distance
range is from 0.0 to 999.0 km. When desired distance is set press the SET button. Once
you preset target distance and then start pedaling, distance starts counting down from preset
target distance to 0.0 per 0.1 km backward. When the preset target distance counts down
to 0.0, the computer will begin beeping to remind you. Distance will start to count up
immediately.
ODOMETER: Displays the total accumulative distance.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install the Front and Rear Stabilizers.
Remove two M8x73 Bolts (14), D8 Curve Washers
(15), and M8 Cap Nuts (16) from the Front
Stabilizer (2). Then attach the Front Stabilizer (2)
onto the front curve plate of Main Frame (1) with
two M8x73 Bolts (14), D8 Curve Washers (15), and
M8 Cap Nuts (16) that were removed.
Remove two M8x73 Bolts (14), D8 Curve Washers
(15), and M8 Cap Nuts (16) from the Rear
Stabilizer (3). Then attach the Rear Stabilizer (3)
onto the rear curve plate of Main Frame (1) with
two M8x73 Bolts (14), D8 Curve Washers (15), and
M8 Cap Nuts (16) that were removed.
Adjusting the adjustable leveler:
Turn the Adjustable Levelers (17) on the Rear
Stabilizer (3) as needed to level the bike.
2. Install the Handlebar Post and Tension
Control Knob.
Install the Handlebar Post Cover (44) onto the
Handlebar Post (4).
Remove four D8 Curve Washers (15) and M8x15
Bolts (45) from the tube of the Main Frame (1).
Insert the Tension Cable (50) through into the
bottom hole of Handlebar Post (4) and pull it out
from the square hole of Handlebar Post (4).
Connect the Sensor Wire II (51) from the Main
Frame (1) to the Sensor Wire I (49) from the
Handlebar Post (4).
Install the Handlebar Post (4) onto the tube of the
Main Frame (1) and secure with four D8 Curve
Washers (15) and M8x15 Bolts (45) that were
removed.
Remove the D5 Curve Washer (47) and M5x50
Bolt (48) from the Tension Control Knob (46). Put
the cable end of resistance cable of Tension
Control Knob (46) into the spring hook of Tension
Cable (50). Then pull the resistance cable of
Tension Control Knob (46) up and force it into the
gap of metal bracket of Tension Cable (50) as
shown in small drawing 1 to 4 of figure 2. Attach
the Tension Control Knob (46) onto the Handlebar
Post (4) with the D5 Curve Washer (47) and M5x50
Bolt (48) that were removed.

3. Install the Foot Pedals.
Connect the Left Foot Pedal (7L) to the Left Crank
(6L). Thread it into the crank assembly in the
counterclockwise direction by the tool provided.
Connect the Right Foot Pedal (7R) to the Right
Crank (6R) by threading it in the clockwise
direction.
NOTE: The Left/Right Foot Pedals (7L/7R) and
Left/Right Cranks (6L/6R) are marked with “L” &
“R” (left and right).
4. Install the Seat Post, Seat Cushion, and Seat
Sliding Tube.
Release the Locking Knob (52) by turning it in a
counterclockwise direction until it can be pulled out.
Pull out the Locking Knob (52) and slide the Seat
Post (10) into the bushing on the tube of the Main
Frame (1). Lock the Seat Post (10) in place by
releasing the Locking Knob (52) and sliding the
Seat Post (10) up or down slightly until the Locking
Knob (52) "pops" down into the locked position.
For added safety, tighten the Locking Knob (52) in
a clockwise direction.
NOTE: When adjusting the height of seat post,
the maximum insert depth mark line cannot
higher than the edge of bushing.
Release both M8 Nuts (70) just a little bit from
underneath of the Seat Cushion (12) by the tool
provided and then attach the Seat Sliding Tube (11)
into the hole that underneath of the Seat Cushion
(12) as shown in small drawing of figure 4.
Tighten both M8 Nuts (70) after adjustment.
Attach the U Bracket for Seat Sliding Tube (53)
with Seat Sliding Tube (11) onto the Seat Post (10)
with a D10x2 Washer (43) and M10 Round Knob
(63).
5. Install the Handlebar and Computer.
Install the Handlebar (5) to the groove of the
Handlebar Post (4). Insert the Pulse Wires (55)
into the hole on the Handlebar Post (4) and then
pull them out from the top end of the Handlebar
Post (4).
Attach the Decorate Cover (57) onto the Handlebar
(5) with a M8x65 T-Knob (56), Ø13x2x35 Spacer
(54) and D8 Washer (58). Tighten the M8x65
T-Knob (56) after adjustment.
Remove four M5x10 Bolts (71) from the Computer
(13). Connect the Pulse Wires (55) and Sensor
Wire I (49) to the wires that come from the Computer (13) and then attach the Computer (13)
onto the top end of the Handlebar Post (4) with four M5x10 Bolts (71) that were removed.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
1. Verify that all the bolts and nuts are locked properly and the turning parts should be
turned freely without damaged parts.
2. Clean the equipment with soap and slightly damp cloth only. Please do not use any
solvent to clean the equipment.
Problem Potential Cause Corrections
Base is unstable. 1. Floor is not flat or there is
small object under the front or
rear stabilizer.
2. The adjustable levelers on
the rear stabilizer have not
been leveled when adjusting.
1. Remove the object.

post is shaking. The T-Knob or locking knob is loose. Tighten the T-Knob or locking knob.

the moving parts. The interval of the parts is improper tighten. Open the covers to adjust.

WARM UP AND COOL DOWN ROUTINE
Agood exercise program consists of a warm-up, aerobic exercise, and a cool down. Do the
entire program at least two to three times a week, resting for a day between workouts. After
several months you can increase your workouts to four or five times per week.
AEROBIC EXERCISE is any sustained activity that sends oxygen to your muscles via your
heart and lungs. Aerobic exercise improves the fitness of your lungs and heart. Aerobic
fitness is promoted by any activity that uses your large muscles eg: legs, arms and buttocks.
Your heart beats quickly and you breathe deeply. An aerobic exercise should be part of
your entire exercise routine.
The WARM-UP is an important part of any workout. It should begin every session to
prepare your body for more strenuous exercise by heating up and stretching your muscles,
increasing your circulation and pulse rate, and delivering more oxygen to your muscles.
COOL DOWN at the end of your workout, repeat these exercises to reduce soreness in tired
muscles.
HEAD ROLLS
Rotate your head to the right for one count,
feeling the stretch up the left side of your neck,
then rotate your head back for one count,
stretching your chin to the ceiling and letting
your mouth open. Rotate your head to the left
for one count, then drop your head to your chest
for one count.
SHOULDER LIFTS
Lift your right shoulder toward your ear for one
count. Then lift your left shoulder up for one
count as you lower your right shoulder.

SIDE STRETCHES
Open your arms to the side and lift them until
they are over your head. Reach your right arm
as far toward the ceiling as you can for one
count. Repeat this action with your left arm.
QUADRICEPS STRETCH
With one hand against a wall for balance, reach
behind you and pull your right foot up. Bring
your heel as close to your buttocks as possible.
Hold for 15 counts and repeat with left foot.
INNER THIGH STRETCH
Sit with the soles of your feet together and your
knees pointing outward. Pull your feet as close
to your groin as possible. Gently push your
knees toward the floor. Hold for 15 counts.

HAMSTRING STRETCHES
Extend your right leg. Rest the sole of
your left foot against your right inner
thigh. Stretch toward your toe as far as
possible. Hold for 15 counts. Relax
and then repeat with left leg.
CALF/ACHILLES STRETCH
Lean against a wall with your left leg in front of
the right and your arms forward. Keep your
right leg straight and the left foot on the floor;
then bend the left leg and lean forward by
moving your hips toward the wall. Hold, then
repeat on the other side for 15 counts.
TOE TOUCHES
Slowly bend forward from your waist, letting
your back and shoulders relax as you stretch
toward your toes. Reach as far as you can and
hold for 15 counts.
