Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the OneControl®with A7 Touchscreen, the OCAU™ System.
The OCAU System makes it easy for users to see their caravan’s vital stats at a glance. The system’s
innovative dashboard displays a caravan's water, liquid propane (LP), battery levels and more along a
unique “lifeline” interface.
This thoughtful design eliminates the need for users to scroll to find a caravan’s main controls – all essential
switches are displayed prominently on the OCAU System’s main screen. By making it easy to manage
resources, the OCAU System is the perfect partner for users whose adventures include places without power
or water infrastructure.
Additional information about this product can be obtained from lci1.com/support or by downloading the

Safety
Read and understand all instructions before installing or operating this product. Adhere to all safety labels.
This manual provides general instructions. Many variables can change the circumstances of the instructions,
i.e., the degree of difficulty, operation and ability of the individual performing the instructions. This
manual cannot begin to plot out instructions for every possibility, but provides the general instructions,
as necessary, for effectively interfacing with the device, product or system. Failure to correctly follow the
provided instructions may result in death, serious personal injury, severe product and/or property damage,
including voiding of the LCI limited warranty.
Installation
Pre-Installation
The OCAU System should be pre-installed and removal should not be necessary. Removing could damage
the OCAU System, cause failure of the device, and void warranty. Should there be questions about the
physical installation of the OCAU System, please consult your dealership. Questions about the device usage
should be addressed within this manual or with your local distributor.
Understanding the OCAU System Components
The OCAU is primarily two components:
1. The physical bezel hardware referred to here as A7 Touchscreen.
2. The graphical user interface, the interactive touchscreen, referred to here as OCAU Graphic User
Interface (OCAU GUI).

Operation
Power On/Off
During normal caravan operation, the OCAU System will be on. Users may choose to power-down the
system for maintenance, to conserve battery or when putting the vehicle in storage.
There are two ways to power on and off the OCAU System.
1. If pressing the OCAU GUI produces no graphics, images or buttons, the A7 Touchscreen may be off. If
the A7 Touchscreen is off, look for the physical button on the lower right side of the bezel. Press the
button for 2-3 seconds to turn the A7 Touchscreen on.
NOTE: It may take a few moments to start up the system or to shut it down. When the A7 Touchscreen
powers-up, the OCAU GUI will appear.
2. If the OCAU GUI buttons are unresponsive or displays show no data, press the power button (Fig. 1A)
to turn on the OCAU System. This will allow the user to access caravan controls and information.

Connecting the OCAU System to a Smart Device
The OCAU System uses BlueTooth® to connect to a user’s smart device.
1. On the Home Screen, tap the Settings gear icon to navigate to the Settings Screen (Fig. 2).
2. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings Screen to find Device Connection (Fig. 3).
3. Hit the refresh button to find the available wireless networks (Fig. 3A).
4. Find the user's desired wireless network and connect.

Operation
By design, the OCAU GUI will display the home screen most of the time. Users may select other screens, such
as Settings, Sensors and Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS).
NOTE: A caravan’s content will determine the Home Screen’s configuration, such as the number of water
tanks, switches, and accessories like LP tanks.
Home Screen
The home screen displays the Header bar, Controls, the At-A-Glance Lifeline vitals, Displays, and the
Navigation bar. The Header and Navigation bars, the top and the bottom of the OCAU GUI, report to users
the general needs of the touchscreen and the caravan.

A Time Time can be set in Settings.
BBluetooth
capability
The Bluetooth symbol informs the user of the ability to pair a smart
device to the caravan. If the OCAU System app is downloaded, the
user may control the caravan’s OCAU System from a smart phone or
device.
C Location A user’s geo-location appears automatically.
D Temperature • Outside temperature
• Units can be changed in Settings.
E Notification
• If there are no notifications, a white triangle will appear.
• A red triangle indicates a notification has been sent to the user. It
may be read on the A7 tablet by pressing on the triangle or in the
mobile app.
F Home This button allows users to return to the Home Screen.
G Sensors
• The sensors page is provisioned for a temperature sensor and an
LP sensor.
• Sensors may be installed at the factory, by a dealer or by a user
when purchased at an aftermarket retailer.
H TireLinc™
TireLinc™ is a Tire Pressure and Monitoring System (TPMS) that may
be installed at the factory, by a dealer or by a user when purchased
at an aftermarket retailer.
I Settings Takes a user to the Settings page.
J Night Mode Night Mode turns off the display so that it does not waste battery or
keep people awake at night.

• Allows a user to see the amount of energy being used by the
caravan’s systems and features.

The controls underneath the Header Bar allow the user to power on and off the OCAU Interface, operate
lights within the caravan and select the caravan’s energy source.
The controls above the Navigation Bar allow the user to operate slides and turn on the Water Heater and
Pump. Energy usage is also displayed.

The center of the OCAU GUI showcases vital resources at-a-glance. Water tanks, including fresh and grey,
occupy the left side, while energy sources like LP and battery are on the left. No scrolling is required to see
all features.

Reading Water Levels
The caravan may be equipped with up to three clean water tanks. When a tank is full, it will show four blue
quadrants in a vertical stack (Fig 7).
NOTE: The number of tanks displayed is determined by the number of tanks installed on the caravan at
the factory.
As clean tanks are depleted, levels reduce by 25% increments, 1 quadrant at a time, and turn yellow. Levels
are reported as:
• 100% (full-4 of 4 quadrants)
• 75% (3 of 4 quadrants)
• 50% (2 of 4 quadrants)
• 25% (1 of 4 quadrants)
• 0% (empty-0 of 4 quadrants)
NOTE: As tanks are depleted or filled, the color of each quadrant may change. The point at which color
changes may be selected by the user in the Settings page.
The Grey Tank (Fig. 7A) is the caravan's dirty water and there will always be at least one Grey tank. The grey
tanks display will change color as the tanks begin to fill up with dirty water as follows (Fig. 8):
• 0% (empty-4 stacked dark grey quadrants)
• 25% (1 of 4 light grey quadrants)
• 50% (2 of 4 yellow quadrants)
• 75% (3 of 4 red quadrants)
• 100% (4 of 4 red quadrants)

LP Tanks
Like Water Tanks, LP Tanks are blue when they are full (Fig. 10A).
When the Water Tanks are empty and the Grey Tank is full, the following alert will display (Fig. 9).
When tanks are refilled and/or emptied, their colors change to reflect their status.

As the levels change, the colors change as follows:
• Blue (full-100%)
• Yellow (75% full) (Fig. 10B)
• Red (half full-50%) (Fig. 10C)
• Red (25%) (Fig. 10D).
• Empty tanks (0%) will display a red exclamation mark warning as seen in Figure 10E.

Battery Level
The Battery Level is shown in increments of 10. When the battery is full (100%), all 10 increments are green
(Fig. 11A). The Battery's estimated life time is also displayed (Fig. 11B).

Battery status is shown graphically in increments of 10%. At 50%, the increments turn yellow. At 20%, the
increments turn red. An exclamation mark warning will appear when the battery is depleted and requires
recharge (Fig. 12). At any time, the user may adjust the warning levels in Settings.

Settings Screen
From time to time, the user may need or want to make changes to the settings. Those can be easily accessed
by touching the Settings gear icon (Fig. 13A) at the bottom OCAU GUI along the Navigation bar. This will
open the Settings screen.
The Settings Screen displays as seen in Figure 14. It is divided into two columns: the left side features only
water tanks, and the right side includes a variety of caravan control settings. Unlike the Home Screen, the
Settings Screen requires vertical scrolling.

The entire left side of the Settings Screen is dedicated to the caravan's water tanks (Fig. 15). The user may
assign unique names to each tank and turn them on and off.

A caravan may have up to 4 water tanks. These tanks may be set up at the factory or by the user.
A user sets up their water tanks by turning them on. Once on, the tank can be renamed. The default name
for water tanks is “Tank” followed by a number.
Caravans have two types of tanks: Clean and Dirty. Clean tanks are intended for fresh, consumable water.
Dirty tanks are intended for waste water.
If the caravan is equipped with only one tank, it will be a Dirty tank. If a caravan is equipped with more than
one tank, the other tanks will be Clean. At any time, a user may select the type of tank.
If the user changes a Clean tank to a Dirty tank, the OCAU System will lock the name as “Grey” for safety. If
there is more than one Dirty tank, the second will automatically be named Grey 2.
Users should take great care if they chose to convert a Dirty tank to Clean. This may require replacing the
entire tank and hose system to avoid contamination.
The user may also edit the warning scale of any tank. A user simply places their finger on a blue circle and
drags it to a different point on the spectrum line.

On the top right hand side of the Settings Screen, the user can calibrate the battery system (Fig. 16) by
selecting the chemistry type of the battery.
A user will need to enter the total Amp Hour capacity. This may vary by coach or if the user adds or changes
batteries. The user will need to determine total capacity themselves. A user may add capacity with the plus
("+") or minus ("-") buttons. It will increase or decrease in increments of 20 Amp Hours. The maximum is 400
Amp Hours.

Power Saving Mode allows you to control when the OCAU System turns on and off (Fig. 17).
The user is also able to adjust the date and time as needed (Fig. 18).

TPMS Screen
If the caravan has TireLinc™ installed, the TireLinc icon will display on the bottom of Home Screen, along the
Navigation bar. Press the TireLinc icon to go to the TPMS Screen (Fig. 20) to view the caravan's tire pressure.
Each tire displays the PSI level measurements (Fig. 21A and Fig. 21B).

Sensors Screen
The OCAU System integrates accessory sensors so that users can access them conveniently through the
OCAU GUI or Mobile App.
