General safety
instructions
Before using the product, please familiarise your-
self with all of the safety information and instruc-
tions for use! When passing this product on to
others, please also include all the documents!
This appliance may be used by children age
8 years and up, as well as by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities,
or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so
long as they are supervised or instructed in
the safe use of the appliance and under-
stand the associated risks. Children should
not be allowed to play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance should not
be performed by children without supervision.
Do not expose the product to weather effects.
The product may otherwise be damaged.
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
Do not place it above heaters. The product‘s
wax may otherwise soften and lose its
shape, resulting in malfunctions.

Battery safety
information
DANGER TO LIFE!
Batteries are not intended for children. If
accidentally swallowed seek immediate
medical attention!
CAUTION! EXPLOSION
HAZARD! Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries, do not
short-circuit and/or open batteries!
Never throw batteries into fire or water!
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries!
Risk of battery leakage
In the event of a battery leak, immediately
remove the batteries from the product to
prevent damage!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous
membranes! In the event of contact with bat-
tery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area
with plenty of clean water and seek immedi-
ate medical attention!
Only use the same type of batteries! Do not
mix used and new batteries!

Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures
which may impact batteries, e.g. on radiators!
Remove the batteries from the device if they
have not been used for a long period.
Risk of equipment damage
Only use the specified battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure the cor-
rect polarity! This is shown in the battery
compartment!
If necessary, clean the battery and device
contacts before inserting the battery!
Promptly remove dead batteries from the
product!
Start-up
First remove the plastic wrapper the real wax
LED candle 1and the batteries are sealed
in to protect them during transport.

Inserting the battery/
batteries
Slide the switch 6on the underside of the
candle to the OFF position (Fig. D).
Pull on the battery cover 4handle and
open the battery compartment 5.
If applicable, remove the old battery/batter-
ies from the battery compartment 5and in-
sert a new battery/new batteries. Only use
a battery/batteries of the type specified un-
der Technical Data in these instructions for
use. When inserting the battery ensure the
correct polarity. This is shown in the battery
compartment.
Close the battery compartment.
The real wax LED candle is now ready for use.

Using the real
wax LED candle
Switching with the switch
Slide the switch 6at the bottom of the real
wax LED candle into the ON position
(Fig. D). The LED 2(Fig. B) will light up and
flicker slightly to simulate a candle.
To switch the candle all the way off, slide the
switch 6to the OFF position.
Blowing out/Blowing on
With the switch 6in the ON position, switch
the real wax LED candle 1on or off by
blowing on the draught sensor 3(Fig. C).
The draught sensor will change the respec-
tive switching state when a draught is de-
tected. This function should not be used to
switch the product all the way off.
In order for this function to work it‘s impor-
tant no foreign objects are inside the draught
sensor opening.

Replacing the
battery/batteries
If the LED 2brightness fades or the draught
sensor 3no longer responds, the battery /
batteries is/are weak and must be replaced.
Follow the instructions under Replacing the
battery/batteries.
Cleaning and Care
Slide the switch 6into the OFF position
and remove the batteries before cleaning the
real wax LED candle 1.
Clean with a dry, soft and lint-free cloth.
When cleaning, be sure no foreign objects
enter the draught sensor 3opening. If a
foreign object accidentally enters the open-
ing, remove it by lightly tapping it. Never
pick at the opening with pointy objects. The
draught sensor may otherwise be damaged.

Disposal
The packaging is made of environ-
mentally friendly materials, which may
be disposed of through your local
recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal
authority for more details on how to
dispose of your worn-out product.
Please contact your local authority for
information on collection points and
their opening hours.
Never dispose of batteries in your
household waste. They may contain
toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste regulations. The
chemical symbols of the heavy metals
are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead. Therefore dispose of used
batteries through your municipal col-
lection site.

Warranty
The device has been manufactured to strict qual-
ity guidelines and meticulously examined before
delivery. In the event of product defects you have
legal rights against the retailer of this product.
Your legal rights are not limited in any way by
our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this device is 3 years from the
date of purchase. Should this device show any
fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years
from the
date of purchase, we will repair or replace
it – at our
choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of pur-
chase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a
safe location.
This document is required as your
proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void
if the device has been damaged or improperly
used or maintained.
The warranty applies to faults in material or man-
ufacture. This warranty does not cover product
parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly consid-
ered con
sumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to
