This 10m lead wire 7of the LED tree 8is
nonreplaceable. Hence if it becomes damaged
you must dispose of the entire product.
This product does not contain any parts which
can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot
be replaced.
Only use the product with the supplied power
adaptor 3for the type (Model No.
EDD-240060-IP44 for HG01313,
EDD-310036-IP44 for HG04147); all warranty
claims will otherwise expire.
Never open any of the electrical parts or insert
any kind of object into them.
Protect the 10m lead wire 7from sharp
edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
Always unplug the power adaptor 3from the
socket before installation, dismantling or clean-
ing.
Never touch the power adaptor 3or the LED
tree 8itself with wet hands.
The product must not be electrically connected
to another device.
If the product is not in use for any length of
time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the
power supply.
If you have any questions about the product or
are unsure about any of its aspects, please
seek the advice of an electrical equipment
specialist.
The product is only suited for use with the in-
cluded power adaptor 3(Model No.
EDD-240060-IP44 for HG01313,
EDD-310036-IP44 for HG04147).
Please note that the power adaptor 3continues
to draw a small amount of power even if the
product is turned off as long as the power
adaptor 3is plugged into a power outlet. To
switch the product off completely, unplug the
power adaptor 3from the socket.
The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the
entire product must be replaced.
RISK OF EXPLOSION! Do
not use the product in explosive atmospheres
where flammable vapours, gases or dusts are
present.
Do not expose the product to any strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stresses.
Make sure the 10m lead wire 7is not laid
down in areas where lawn mowers, trimmers,
scissors or similar cutting tools are used.
RISK OF INJURY! Make
sure that, when the LED tree 8is removed, the
base plate 1and the ground spike 2are
also removed, so that they do not present any
risk (e.g. risk of stumbed by the base and
ground spike).
Installation
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the
product.
Remove the individual parts from the packag-
ing and mount the product according to figures
A–E. The site for the LED tree 8must be se-
lected in a way that it is erected on a solid,
level and vibration-free base. Anchor the LED
tree 8firmly to the ground and make sure that
the tree is stable!
Assembly without ground spike 2
(see fig. A1): Use four suitable screws and
dowels (not included) for the selected site
underground and mount the base plate 1.
Make sure that the recess on the tube of the
base plate 1does not apply to the recess
when fixing!
Installation with ground spike 2
(see fig. A2): Anchor ground spike 2to the
ground and mount base plate 1on it. When
fixing the stand pipe 5on the pipe of the
base plate 1, make sure to position the space
of the pipe exactly where the spike is fixed with
the screw.
Further steps for both types of
installation:
Attach stand pipe 5to base plate 1and
tighten Hexagon screw 6with the help of
Hexagon key 4(see fig. B).
