pack for
use with all Nik on digital cameras that list the MB - 018 as
acompatible accessory in the camera ma n uaL The MB-018 takes
one EN-EL 15a or EN-EL 18b rechargeable battery oreight AA batter-

To prevent electrical shorts caused by metal objects touching the power
term i nals, replace the contact cap when the MB · D18 is not in use.
· When not in serted in the battery pack, battery holders or batteries wi th
optional BL -5 banery chamber covers attached must be pl aced in thei r
cases or have the baneries removed to prevent electrical shorts caused
by contact wi th ot h er metal Objects.
• The memory card access lamp may light when the MB - 018 is attached
to or removed fr om the camera; this is not ma l function
• Should you notice smoke or an unusual smell or noise from the battery
pack, discontinue use i mmediately. After removing t he batteries. ta ke
the device to t he retailer or aN ik on-authorized service representa t ive
for i nspection.
• The MB - D18 is not equipped with a power switch Use the camera pow -
er switch to turn the power on oroff.
