MITX-6934isanewaddition toNORCO'sextensivelineofthin Mini-ITXembedded boards.
Runningon thethelatestIntel Atom"Cedarview"processor,thisnetworksecurityand
communication applianceboardboastsclockspeedsof1.86GHzwithbothsingleanddual
coreofferings.Anothergreatfeatureessential tonetworksecurityappliancesistheLAN
bypassfeature.Intheunlikelyeventthatthisdeviceshouldfail,orperhapsduringapower
failure,theLANbypass featureallowsdatatoflowthroughpassivelyinstead ofterminatingat
thedevice. TheMITX-6934 alsogivesyoutheoption toboot directlyfromaCF card,orfroma
standardHDD orSSDdriveviatheSATAII port.Inadditiontothe2external,and 4internal
USB 2.0ports,theI/OonthissystemincludestwoserialportsoneviaRJ45 andtheothervia
pin-header.Thisfeaturepacked embedded boardiscapableofsupporting 64-bitoperating

Pleasefollowthestepsbelowtoinstallyourcomputer
1.Adjustalljumpersonboardaccordingtotheusermanual
2. InstallDIMM
3. Installotherexpansion cards
4. Connectallsignal cables,powercable,panel control circuitandpoweradaptor
5．StartthecomputerandfinishBIOSsettings.
KeycomponentsofthismotherboardareIntegratedcircuit,and thesecomponents
couldbeeasilydamagedbyelectrostaticinfluence.So,beforeinstalling thisunit, please
always keep thefollowingprecautionsinmind:
1. Holdtheboardbyedges,don’ttouchanycomponentsorplugand socketpins
2．Wearanti-staticgloves/wriststrapwhiletouchingtheintegrated circuitcomponents,suchas
CPU, RAM,etc.
3．Put thoseunusedoruninstalledcomponentsinstaticshieldingbagsortrays
4．Pleasefirst checkthepowerswitchisoffbeforeconnectingthepowerplug.
2.3Install DIMM
BoardwithoneDDRIIIslot. Pleasekeepfollowingtwopointsinmindwheninstallingthe
memorybank:
1.First, pleasealgin thenotchof thememorybankwiththealignmentmarkon thesocketand
press thememorybankslowlyintothesocket.
2. Pleasechoosethepropermemorybankthatmatchesyourmotherboard.
2.4JumperSetting
Pleaserefertofollowing instructionstodojumpersettingsbeforeinstalling yourhardware
devices.
Remark: HowtoidentifythePIN1of all jumpersandinterfaces: Pleaseobservethewordmark
on thesideof theplugsocket, whichwill bea “1”orboldlineortriangularsymbol;Andplease
lookat thebackofPCB, eachwithasquareshapewillbethePIN1; andallthejumpers’PIN1
haveawhitearrowon theside.
2.4.1 CMOSClear/HoldJumperSetting JCC）

Steps: 1 ） Turnoffthecomputeranddisconnectthepowersupply
2）UseJumperCap JCC Pin1-2shortfor5~6sec. Then restorethedefaultsetting
withPin2-3connected
3）Turnon thecomputer, then press “DEL”keytoenterBIOSsetting andreload
optimaldefaults.
4）SaveandExit
