KeycomponentsofthismotherboardareIntegratedcircuit,and thesecomponents
couldbeeasilydamagedbyelectrostaticinfluence.So,beforeinstalling thisunit, please
always keep thefollowingprecautionsinmind:
1. Holdtheboardbyedges,don’ttouchanycomponentsorplugand socketpins.
2.Wearanti-staticgloves/wriststrapwhiletouchingtheintegrated circuitcomponents,suchas
CPU, RAM,etc.
3.Put thoseunusedoruninstalledcomponentsinstaticshieldingbagsortrays.
4.Pleasefirst checkthepowerswitchisoffbeforeconnectingthepowerplug.
2.3CPUInstallation
InstalltheCPUasperthefollowing steps:
1.Usescrewdrivertoloosenthescrewson CPUsocketuntilitchangesfrom “Locked”to
“Unlocked”illustrated asthepicturesbelow:
2.GripbothsidesoftheCPU.ThenaligntheCPUPin1(withagold trianglemark)withthe
markontheCPUsocketandinserttheCPUintoitssocket.Checktheinstallationisokand
then screwupthescrewsonsocketuntilitchangesfrom “unlocked”to “locked”.
Note:PleasemakesureyourCPUmatchedthemotherboardspecification.Systemwill
autodetect theCPUtypeandfrequencyaftersystementeringBIOSSETUP. BIOSsettingswill
notallowyoutoadjustCPUfrequencymultiplication.Tosecuresystemstableoperation,we
don’trecommendyoutouseCPUoverclock.Sofar, mostIntel CPUfrequencymultiplicationis
factorydefaultedandcannotbechanged.

2.4RAMInstallation
Boardwith2xDDRIII DIMM slots. Pleasepayattention tofollowingpointswhen installing RAM:
1.Align thenotchoftheDIMM memorybankwiththatofthesocket.Insertthememorybank
intothesocketand press thememorybankverticallyandevenlyon bothsidesuntil the
memorybankfullyintotheslot.
2. Select thememorybankthatmatchesyourmotherboard.
2.5JumperSettings
Pleaserefertofollowinginstructionstosetupjumpersbeforeinstallingyourhardwaredevices.
Remark: HowtoidentifythePIN1of all jumpersandinterfaces: Pleaseobservethewordmark
on thesideof theplugsocket, whichwill bea “1”orboldlineortriangularsymbol;Andplease
lookat thebackofPCB, eachwithasquareshapewillbethePIN1; andallthejumpers’PIN1
haveawhitearrowon theside.
2.5.1CMOSClear/HoldJumperSetting JCC)
CMOSispoweredbytheonboardbuttoncell. ClearCMOSwillleadtopermanentelimination
of previoussystemsettingsandback totheoriginal systemsetting (factorydefault).
Steps:
1)Turnoffthecomputeranddisconnectthepowersupply
2)UseJumperCapJCC Pin1-2shortfor5~6sec.Then restorethedefaultsettingwith
Pin2-3connected
3)Turnon thecomputer, then press “DEL”keytoenterBIOSsetting andreloadoptimal
defaults.
4)SaveandExit
