Alle Klettriemen öffnen, sie aus den jeweiligen Schnallen ziehen
und sie provisorisch wieder um sich selbst verschließen.
Das Knie des sitzenden Patienten um etwa 30° beugen. Die Orthese am Bein anbringen
und die Mitte des Gelenks ca. 1–2 cm über der Patellamitte (Abb. A) ansetzen.
Riemen Nr. 1 schließen (Abb. B).
Riemen Nr. 2 schließen.
Die Gelenke um ca. 1 cm nach unten drücken (Abb. C). Anm.: Die Gelenke werden hinter
dem gebeugten Knie angebracht, da sich diese mit dem Verschluss jedes Riemens nach
vorne verschieben, bis die Orthese in der richtigen Position am Bein angebracht ist.
Die Riemen Nr. 3 bis Nr. 5 in der Reihenfolge der Nummern schließen. Den Patienten
aufstehen lassen und Riemen Nr. 6 schließen (Abb. D–E).
Den Patienten auffordern hin und her zu gehen und das Knie einige Male zu beugen.
Überprüfen, dass die Kondylenstützen gut am Gelenk anliegen.
Überprüfen, dass die steifen Oberschenkel- und Beinhalterungen gut am Muskel
anliegen, ohne jedoch einen übermäßigen Druck auszuüben (Abb. F–G).
Falls nötig, die Knieorthese an das Bein des Patienten anpassen:
• Die Struktur so anpassen, dass sie perfekt an der Anatomie des
betroffenen Beins ausgerichtet ist (Abb. H/I)
• Bei Bedarf, können auch je nach Kondylus zusätzliche Abstandhalter
(im Lieferumfang enthalten) angebracht werden, um die Orthese an
das besonders kleine Knie anzupassen

EINSTELLUNG DER FLEXION-EXTENSION
Die Schrauben, die die Flexions-/Extensionskeile im Sitz
blockieren, aufschrauben (Abb. A).
Die eventuell bereits eingeführten Keile herausnehmen.
Die Keile mit der gewünschten Flexion/Extension (Abb. B) einführen, so
dass die in den Keilen vorliegenden Kerben mit den in der Knieorthese
vorliegenden Sitzen übereinstimmen.
Die Schrauben einführen und überprüfen, dass sie gut in den Sitz eintreten.
Fest anziehen (Abb. A).
Überprüfen, dass die verwendeten Flexions- oder Extensionskeile bei beiden Gelenken
dieselbe Gradzahl haben.
EINSTELLUNG DER RUHIGSTELLUNG – 0°/10°/20°/30° (BEI BEDARF)
Die Schrauben, die die Flexions-/Extensionskeile im Sitz blockieren, aufschrauben (Abb. A).
Die eventuell bereits eingeführten Keile herausnehmen.
Erst den Extensionskeil (der mit einer Kerbe) und dann den Flexionskeil
(denjenigen mit zwei Kerben) einführen.
Falls beim Einführen des zweiten Keils Probleme auftreten, eventuell
den störenden Lack an der Knieorthese abkratzen oder die Kerben des Keils feilen.
Die Schrauben wieder einführen und überprüfen, dass diese gut sitzen.
Fest anziehen (Abb. A).
Überprüfen, dass die verwendeten Flexions- oder Extensionskeile bei
beiden Gelenken dieselbe Gradzahl haben.

VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
Das Produkt sollte keinen Druck auf Körperteile ausüben, die Verletzungen, Schwellungen
oder Tumeszenzen aufweisen. Das Produkt sollte nicht zu stark festgezogen werden, damit
sich keine Druckstellen entwickeln oder darunter liegende Nerven und/oder Blutgefäße
abgedrückt werden. Es wird empfohlen, ein Kleidungsstück darunter zu tragen, sodass der
direkte Kontakt mit der Haut vermieden wird. Wenden Sie sich bei Zweifeln über die Art der
Anwendung bitte an Ihren Orthopädietechniker. Das Produkt sollte nicht in der Nähe von
offenem Feuer oder starken elektromagnetischen Feldern verwendet werden.
HINWEISE
Das Produkt darf nur bei medizinischer Indikation oder auf ärztliche Anordnung
verwendet werden. Es muss von einem Orthopädietechniker angelegt werden, der sowohl
für das Anlegen wie auch für die Informationen über den sicheren Gebrauch entsprechend
Ihren persönlichen Anforderungen Ihr kompetenter Ansprechpartner ist. Die Wirksamkeit,
Verträglichkeit und die Funktionalität des Produktes sind nur dann garantiert, wenn es immer
mit größter Sorgfalt angelegt wird. Jede eventuelle Änderung der Struktur oder der
Einstellung muss von einem Arzt verordnet und von einem Orthopädietechniker ausgeführt

Open all Velcro®straps, remove them from the corresponding buckles
and close them temporarily on themselves.
Sit the patient with the knee flexed at about 30°, put the brace on the limb and move
the center of the joint about 1–2 cm above the center of the patella (fig. A).
Fasten strap # 1 (fig. B).
Fasten strap # 2.
Push the joints downwards by about 1 cm (fig. C). Note: The joints are positioned behind
the bent knee because, when each strap is fastened, they move forward, until the brace
is correctly positioned on the leg.
Fasten straps # 3 through # 5, in order. Have the patient stand
and fasten strap # 6 (fig. D–E).
Ask the patient to walk and bend the knee.
Make sure the condylar supports fit tightly around the joint.
Check that the hard thigh- and leg-grips fit tightly around the muscles
without causing excessive pressure (fig. F–G).
If necessary, adjust the brace to the patient’s limb:
• Modify the structure so as to perfectly suit the anatomy of the affected limb (fig. H/I)
• If necessary, depending on the condyle, additional spacers may be used
(included in the scope of delivery) to adapt the brace to particularly small knees.

FLEXION-EXTENSION ADJUSTMENT
Remove the screws that hold the flexion/extension wedges in place (fig. A)
Remove any pre-inserted wedges
Insert the wedges with the desired degrees of flexion/extension (fig. B)
such that the notches on the wedges coincide with the slots on the brace
Reinsert the screws, making sure they properly fit into the slots.
Securely tighten (fig. A).
Make sure that the flexion or extension wedges are set to the same degrees
on both joints.
ADJUSTING THE STOP – 0°/10°/20°/30° (OPTIONAL)
Remove the screws that hold the flexion/extension wedges in place (fig. A)
Remove any pre-inserted wedges.
First insert the extension wedge (the one with only one notch), then the flexion wedge
(the one with two notches).
If there are any difficulties inserting the second wedge, scrape off any paint present
in the brace slot or file the wedge notches.
Reinsert the screws, making sure they properly fit into the slots. Securely tighten (fig. A).
Make sure that the flexion or extension wedges are set to the same degrees on both joints.

PRECAUTIONS
It is advised that the pressure exerted by the product does not act on parts of the body
suffering from wounds, swelling or lumps. The product should not be tightened too firmly so
as to avoid the development of pressure points or compression of the nerves or blood vessels
underneath. It is advisable to wear the product over a garment, avoiding direct contact with
the skin. If in doubt about how to apply, contact an orthopaedic technician. The device should
not be worn in the vicinity of open flames or strong electromagnetic fields.
WARNINGS
The product may only be used in the event of medical indication or when prescribed by a
physician and must be applied by an orthopaedic technician, the competent authority figure
for the application as well as for information on the safe use, according to individual needs.
To ensure the effectiveness, tolerability, and correct operation, it is necessary that the device
is put on with the utmost care. Any changes to the structure or adjustment of the device must
be prescribed by a physician and performed by an orthopaedic technician. Under no
circumstances should the adjustment made by the physician/orthopaedic technician be
altered. Use of the product is recommended for a single patient. With hypersensitive patients,
direct contact with skin may cause redness or irritation. In the case of onset of pain, swelling,
lumps or any unusual reaction, immediately contact your physician.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES ET MATÉRIAUX

Ouvrir tous les straps Velcro®, les enlevés du scratch correspondant
et les attachés temporairement.
Positionner le patient avec la jambe fléchis à 30 degrés, mettre l’attelle sur
le membre et positionner le centre du joint 1–2cm au dessus du centre du genou. (fig. A).
Fermer le strap 1 (fig. B).
Fermer le strap 2.
Pousser les joints d’un centimètre vers le bas (fig. C). Note : les joints sont positionner
derrière la courbe du genou car lorsque chaque stras est fermé, ils bougent vers
l’avant, jusqu’a ce que l’attelle soit correctement positionner sur la jambe.
Fermer le strap 3 à travers le strap 5. Mettre le patient debout
et fermer le strap 6 (fig. D–E).
Demander au patient de marcher et de courber la jambe.
S’assurer que le support condylien soit correctement ajusté autour du joint.
Vérifier que les grips de la cuisse et de la jambe enroulent bien
les muscles sont pressions excessives (fig. F–G).
Si nécessaire, ajuster l’attelle au membre du patient :
• Modifier la structure pour l’ajuster parfaitement à l’anatomie
du membre touché (fig. H/I)
• Si besoin est, il est également possible de placer des écarteurs supplémentaires
(fournis) adaptés au condyle afin d’ajuster l’orthèse à un genou particulièrement petit

AJUSTEMENT DES FLEXIONS ET EXTENSIONS
Retirer les vis qui retiennent les cales de flexion/ extension (fig. A).
Retirer toutes les cales pré-insérée.
Insérer les cales avec le degré désiré de flexion/extension (fig. B) de manière
à ce que l’encoche de la cale coïncide avec la fente de l’atelle.
Réinsérer les vis, s’assurer qu’elles entrent correctement dans les fentes.
Serrer les vis (fig. A).
S’assurer que les cales de flexions ou d’extensions sont tous réglées au
même degrés sur les 2 joints.
AJUSTER LE STOP – 0°/10°/20°/30° (OPTIONNEL)
Retirer les vis qui retiennent les cales de flexion/ extension (fig. A).
Retirer toutes les cales pré-insérée.
D’abord insérer les cales d’extension ( celle avec une seule encoche), puis
la cale de flexion (celle avec deux encoches).
Si il y’a des difficultés à insérer la seconde cale , racler toutes
les présences de peintures dans les fentes ou limer les cales.
Réinsérer les vis, s’assurer qu’elles entrent correctement dans les fentes:
Serrer les vis (fig. A).
S’assurer que les cales de flexion et d’extension sont réglésés au
même degré sur les deux joints.

Ouvrir tous les straps Velcro®, les enlevés du scratch correspondant

Fermer le strap 3 à travers le strap 5. Se mettre debout et fermer le strap 6 (fig. D).
Marcher et courber la jambe.
S’assurer que le support condylien soit correctement ajusté autour du joint et
vérifier que les grips de la cuisse et de la jambe enroulent bien les muscles sont
pressions excessives (fig. E–F).

Instructions de lavage : lavage à la main jusqu’à 30 °C avec du savon neutre,

PRÉCAUTIONS
Veiller à ce que le produit n’appuie pas sur des parties du corps enflées ou présentant
des lésions. Le produit ne doit pas être serrée trop fort afin que n’apparaisse aucune
meurtrissure et que les nerfs et/ou vaisseaux sanguins situés en-dessous ne soient pas
comprimés. Il est conseillé de porter l’orthèse sur un vêtement afin d’éviter le contact direct
avec la peau. Si vous avez des questions concernant l’utilisation, veuillez vous adresser à un
technicien orthopédiste. Ne pas exposer le produit à une flamme ouverte ou à des champs
magnétiques importants.
AVERTISSEMENTS
L’utilisation de ce produit est réservée aux indications médicales ou ne doit que se faire sur
ordonnance médicale. Le réglage individuel doit être effectué par un technicien orthopédiste;
ce dernier est un interlocuteur compétent aussi bien en ce qui concerne l’usage que pour
donner des informations concernant la sécurité d’utilisation. Le réglage doit être effectué
minutieusement afin de garantir l’efficacité, la tolérance et le bon fonctionnement de ce
dispositif. D’éventuelles modifications de la structure ou des réglages ne doivent être
effectués que sur prescription médicale et doivent être exécutés par un technicien
orthopédiste. Les réglages effectués par le médecin ou le technicien orthopédique ne
doivent surtout pas être modifiés. Le produit est prévue pour être utilisée par un seul patient.
Chez les patients particulièrement sensibles, le contact direct avec la peau peut entraîner
des rougeurs et des irritations. En cas de douleurs, d’enflures ou d’autres problèmes veuillez
consulter immédiatement votre médecin traitant.

CARATTERISTICHE E MATERIALI

Aprire tutti i cinturini a Velcro®, sfilarli dalle fibbie corrispondenti
e richiuderli provvisoriamente su loro stessi.
Far sedere i paziente con il ginocchio flesso a circa 30°, infilare la ginocchiera sull’arto
e portare il centro dell’articolazione circa 1–2 cm sopra il centro della rotula (fig. A).
Chiudere il cinturino n.1 (fig. B).
Chiudere il cinturino n.2.
Spingere le articolazioni verso il basso di circa 1 cm (fig. C).
Nota: le articolazioni vengono posizionate dietro il ginocchio piegato perché,
con la chiusura di ogni cinturino, queste si spostano in avanti, fino al corretto
posizionamento del tutore sulla gamba.
Chiudere i cinturini dal n.3 al n.5, seguendo la numerazione; infine alzarsi
e chiudere il cinturino n.6 (fig. D–E)
Chiedere al paziente di camminare e fare piegamenti sulle ginocchia.
Accertarsi che gli appoggi condilari siano ben aderenti all’articolazione.
Controllare che la presa rigida di coscia e di gamba siano ben aderenti alla
muscolatura senza però creare pressioni eccessive (fig.F–G).
Se necessario, adattare la ginocchiera all’arto del paziente:
• Modificare la struttura così da seguire perfettamente l’anatomia
dell’arto interessato (fig. H/I)
• Se necessario, è possibile aggiungere spessori (inclusi nella confezione)
in corrispondenza dei condili per adattare l’ortesi a ginocchia particolarmente piccole

REGOLAZIONE DELLA FLESSO-ESTENSIONE
Togliere le viti che bloccano i cunei di flessione/estensione nella sede (fig. A).
Estrarre i cunei eventualmente pre-inseriti.
Inserire i cunei con i gradi di flessione/estensione desiderati (fig. B) in modo che
le tacche presenti sui cunei vadano a coincidere con le sedi presenti sulla ginocchiera.
Reinserire le viti, controllando che entrino bene nella sede. Stringere a fondo (fig. A).
Accertarsi che i cunei di flessione o quelli di estensione utilizzati, siano della
stessa gradazione su entrambe le articolazioni.
REGOLAZIONE DEL BLOCCO A 0°/10°/20°/30° (OPZIONALE)
Togliere le viti che bloccano i cunei di flessione/estensione nella sede (fig. A).
Estrarre i cunei eventualmente pre-inseriti.
Inserire prima il cuneo di estensione (quello con una sola tacca) e poi
quello di flessione (quello con due tacche).
Se si incontrano difficoltà nell’inserimento del secondo cuneo, grattare l’eventuale
vernice presente nella sede della ginocchiera o limare le tacche del cuneo.
Reinserire le viti, controllando che entrino bene nella sede. Stringere a fondo (fig. A).
Accertarsi che i cunei di flessione o quelli di estensione utilizzati, siano della stessa
gradazione su entrambe le articolazioni.
