1.1 Konstruktion und Funktion
Der Prothesenfuß 1M10 Adjust ist für den Einsatz in Modular-Prothesen geeignet. Der Prothesen
fuß zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Sicherheit beim Stehen und Gehen aus. Diese wird durch ein
multiaxiales Gelenk an der Belastungslinie gewährleistet. Die Fersencharakteristik kann mit einem
Funktionsmodul individuell eingestellt werden.
1.2 Kombinationsmöglichkeiten
Diese Prothesenkomponente ist kompatibel mit dem Ottobock Modularsystem. Die Funktionalität
mit Komponenten anderer Hersteller, die über kompatible modulare Verbindungselemente verfü
gen, wurde nicht getestet.
2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
2.1 Verwendungszweck
Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für die prothetische Versorgung der unteren Extremität einzuset
zen.
2.2 Einsatzgebiet
Unsere Komponenten funktionieren optimal, wenn sie mit geeigneten Komponenten kombiniert
werden, ausgewählt auf Basis von Körpergewicht und Mobilitätsgrad, die mit unserer MOBIS
Klassifizierungsinformation identifizierbar sind, und die über passende modulare Verbindungsele
mente verfügen.

2.4 Nutzungsdauer
Das Produkt ist vom Hersteller nach ISO 22675 auf 2 Millionen Belastungszyklen geprüft. Dies
entspricht, je nach Aktivitätsgrad des Patienten, einer Nutzungsdauer von 2 bis 3 Jahren.

5.1 Aufbau
5.1.1 Aufziehen/Entfernen der Fußhülle
Aufziehen der Fußhülle
1) Den Prothesenfuß in die Fußhülle einschieben (siehe Abb.3, siehe Abb.4).
2) Die Ferse des Prothesenfußes in die Fußhülle drücken, bis sie einrastet (siehe Abb.5).
Entfernen der Fußhülle
1) Die Arretierung der Fußhülle nach hinten drücken und die Ferse des Prothesenfußes nach
oben ziehen.
2) Den Prothesenfuß aus der Fußhülle entfernen.
5.1.2 Grundaufbau
Grundaufbau TT
Ablauf des Grundaufbaus
Benötigte Materialien: Goniometer 662M4, Absatzhöhenmessgerät 743S12, 50:50Lehre 743A80, Aufbau
gerät (z.B. L.A.S.A.R. Assembly 743L200 oder PROS.A. Assembly 743A200)
Das Montieren und Ausrichten der Prothesenkomponenten im Aufbaugerät gemäß den folgenden Angaben
durchführen:
Sagittalebene
  Absatzhöhe: Effektive Absatzhöhe (Absatzhöhe Schuh - Sohlenstärke Vorfußbereich) +5mm
  Fuß-Außenrotation: ca. 5°
  Vorverlagerung der Prothesenfußmitte zur Aufbaulinie: 30mm
  Den Prothesenfuß und den Prothesenschaft mit Hilfe der ausgewählten Adapter verbinden. Dabei
die Gebrauchsanweisung der Adapter beachten.
  Die Mitte des Prothesenschafts mit der 50:50 Lehre ermitteln. Den Prothesenschaft mittig zur Auf
baulinie einordnen.
Schaftflexion: Individuelle Stumpfflexion + 5°
Frontalebene
  Aufbaulinie Prothesenfuß: Zwischen Großzeh und zweitem Zeh
Aufbaulinie Prothesenschaft: Entlang der lateralen Patellakante
  Die Abduktionsstellung oder Adduktionsstellung beachten.
Grundaufbau TF
►Die Angaben in der Gebrauchsanweisung des Prothesenkniegelenks beachten.
5.1.3 Statischer Aufbau
• Bei Bedarf können die Aufbauempfehlungen (TF-Modular-Beinprothesen: 646F219*, TT-Mo
dular-Beinprothesen: 646F336*) bei Ottobock angefordert werden.
• Ottobock empfiehlt den Aufbau der Prothese mit Hilfe des L.A.S.A.R.Posture zu kontrollieren
und bei Bedarf anzupassen.
5.1.4 Dynamische Anprobe
• Den Aufbau der Prothese in der Frontalebene und der Sagittalebene anpassen (z.B. durch
Winkeländerung oder Verschiebung), um eine optimale Schrittabwicklung sicherzustellen.
•TT-Versorgungen: Bei der Lastübernahme nach dem Fersenauftritt auf eine physiologische
Kniebewegung in Sagittal- und Frontalebene achten. Eine Bewegung des Kniegelenks nach
medial vermeiden. Bewegt sich das Kniegelenk in der ersten Standphasenhälfte nach medial,
dann den Prothesenfuß medialisieren. Geschieht die Bewegung nach medial in der zweiten
Standphasenhälfte, dann die Außenrotation reduzieren.

5.1.4.1 Optimieren der Fersencharakteristik
INFORMATION
Die Konfigurationsänderung des Funktionsmoduls bewirkt keine Änderung der Belastungslinie
im Stehen.
Die Fersencharakteristik wird mit dem Funktionsmodul eingestellt. Folgende Einstellungen sind
möglich:
Fersenauftritt Ausgewählte Konfiguration (siehe Abb.2) Position Einleger
Weich 1 Einleger entfernt, Öffnung posterior
Moderat 2 (Auslieferungszustand) Einleger posterior
Fest 3 Einleger anterior
►Das Funktionsmodul in die gewünschte Konfiguration drehen (siehe Abb.6).
5.2 Optional: Montieren des Schaumstoffüberzugs
Als lösbare Verbindung zwischen Schaumstoffüberzug und Prothesenfuß dient ein Verbindungs
element (z.B. Verbindungsplatte, Verbindungskappe, Anschlusskappe, Schaumanschlusskap
pe).
>Benötigte Materialien: Entfettender Reiniger (z.B. Isopropylalkohol 634A58), Kontaktkleber
636N9 oder Kunststoffkleber 636W17
1) Den Abstand vom Kniedrehpunkt bis zum gewünschten Ende des Schaumstoffüberzugs mes
sen und den Stauchweg addieren: Bei PE-Schaum 10mm, bei PUR-Weichschaum 30mm
addieren. Bei TF-Prothesen den doppelten Stauchweg addieren.
2) Den Schaumstoffrohling ablängen.
3) Den Schaumstoffrohling auf die Prothese ziehen.
4) Das Verbindungselement auf die Fußhülle oder den Prothesenfuß setzen. Je nach Ausführung
rastet das Verbindungselement im Rand ein oder sitzt am Fußadapter.
5) Den Prothesenfuß an der Prothese montieren.
6) Die Außenkontur des Verbindungselements auf der distalen Schnittfläche des Schaum
stoffrohlings anzeichnen.
7) Den Prothesenfuß demontieren und das Verbindungselement entfernen.
8) Das Verbindungselement mit einem entfettenden Reiniger reinigen.
9) Das Verbindungselement gemäß der angezeichneten Außenkontur auf die distale Schnittflä
che des Schaumstoffrohlings kleben.
10) Die Verklebung trocknen lassen (ca. 10Minuten).
11) Den Prothesenfuß montieren und die kosmetische Außenform anpassen. Dabei die Kompres
sion durch Überziehstrümpfe oder SuperSkin berücksichtigen.
6 Wartung
►Die Prothesenkomponenten nach den ersten 30Tagen Gebrauch einer Sichtprüfung und
Funktionsprüfung unterziehen.
►Die komplette Prothese während der normalen Konsultation auf Abnutzung überprüfen.
►Jährliche Sicherheitskontrollen durchführen.
7 Entsorgung
Das Produkt darf nicht überall mit unsortiertem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Eine nicht den Bestim
mungen des Verwenderlands entsprechende Entsorgung kann sich schädlich auf die Umwelt und
die Gesundheit auswirken. Die Hinweise der für das Verwenderland zuständigen Behörde zu
Rückgabe-, Sammel- und Entsorgungsverfahren beachten.

8 Rechtliche Hinweise
Alle rechtlichen Bedingungen unterliegen dem jeweiligen Landesrecht des Verwenderlandes und
können dementsprechend variieren.
8.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und Anweisungen in diesem
Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbe
sondere durch unsachgemäße Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Produkts verur
sacht werden, haftet der Hersteller nicht.
8.2 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/EWG für Medizinpro
dukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien nach AnhangIX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt
in die KlasseI eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in alleiniger
Verantwortung gemäß AnhangVII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1.1 Construction and Function
The 1M10 Adjust prosthetic foot is suitable for use in modular prostheses. The prosthetic foot dis
tinguishes itself with a high level of safety while standing and walking. This is ensured by a multi-
axial joint in the load line. The heel characteristics can be individually adapted with a function
module.
1.2 Combination possibilities
This prosthetic component is compatible with Ottobock's system of modular connectors. Func
tionality with components of other manufacturers that have compatible modular connectors has
not been tested.

2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The product is to be used solely for lower limb prosthetic fittings.
2.2 Area of application
Our components perform optimally when paired with appropriate components based upon weight
and mobility grades identifiable by our MOBIS classification information and which have appro
priate modular connectors.

2.4 Service life

5.1 Alignment
5.1.1 Applying/removing the footshell
Inserting the foot into the footshell
1) Slide the prosthetic foot into the footshell (see fig.3, see fig.4).
2) Press the heel of the prosthetic foot into the footshell until it engages (see fig.5).
Removing the footshell
1) Push the lock of the footshell to the rear and pull up the heel of the prosthetic foot.
2) Remove the prosthetic foot from the footshell.
5.1.2 Bench Alignment
TT bench alignment
Bench alignment process
Required materials: 662M4 goniometer, 743S12 heel height measuring apparatus, 743A80 50:50gauge,
alignment apparatus (e.g.743L200 L.A.S.A.R. Assembly or 743A200 PROS.A. Assembly)
Perform the assembly and alignment of the prosthetic components in the alignment apparatus according to
the following specifications:
Sagittal plane
  Heel height: Effective heel height (shoe heel height - sole thickness of forefoot) +5mm
  Exterior foot rotation: approx. 5°
  Anterior placement, middle of the prosthetic foot to the alignment reference line: 30mm
  Connect the prosthetic foot and prosthetic socket using the chosen adapters. The instructions for
use of the adapters must be observed.
  Determine the centre of the prosthetic socket with the 50:50 gauge. Align the prosthetic socket
centrally to the alignment reference line.
Socket flexion: Individual residual limb flexion +5°

  Alignment reference line of prosthetic foot: between big toe and second toe
Alignment reference line of prosthetic socket: along the lateral patella edge
  Observe the abduction or adduction position.
TF bench alignment
►Observe the information in the prosthetic knee joint instructions for use.
5.1.3 Static Alignment
• If necessary, the alignment recommendations (TF modular leg prostheses: 646F219*, TT
modular leg prostheses: 646F336*) may be requested from Ottobock.
• Ottobock recommends checking the alignment of the prosthesis using the L.A.S.A.R.Posture
and adapting it as needed.
5.1.4 Dynamic Trial Fitting
• Adapt the alignment of the prosthesis in the frontal plane and the sagittal plane (e.g.by mak
ing angle or slide adjustments) to ensure an optimum gait pattern.
•TT fittings:Make sure that physiological knee movement in the sagittal and frontal plane is
achieved when the leg begins to bear weight after the heel strike. Avoid medial movement of
the knee joint. If the knee joint moves in the medial direction in the first half of the stance
phase, medialise the prosthetic foot. If the medial movement occurs in the second half of the
stance phase, reduce the exterior rotation.
5.1.4.1 Optimising the heel characteristics
INFORMATION
Changing the configuration of the function module has no effect on the load line while standing.
The heel characteristics are adjusted with the function module. The following settings are pos
sible:

►Turn the function module to the desired configuration (see fig.6).
5.2 Optional: Installing the foam cover
A connecting element (such asa connection plate, connection cap or foam connection cap)
provides a detachable connection between the foam cover and the prosthetic foot.
>Required materials: Degreasing cleaner (e.g.634A58 isopropyl alcohol), 636N9 contact
adhesive or 636W17 plastic adhesive
1) Measure the distance from the knee rotation point to the desired end of the foam cover and
add the compression allowance: For PE foam 10mm, for PUR soft foam 30mm. For TF
prostheses, add twice the compression allowance.
2) Cut the pre-shaped foam block to length.
3) Pull the foam cover over the prosthesis.
4) Set the connecting element onto the footshell or prosthetic foot. Depending on the version,
the connecting element engages in the edge or sits on the foot adapter.
5) Mount the prosthetic foot on the prosthesis.
6) Mark the outer contour of the connecting element on the distal face of the foam cover.
7) Dismount the prosthetic foot and remove the connecting element.
8) Clean the connecting element using a degreasing cleaner.

9) Glue the connecting element onto the distal face of the foam cover according to the marked

6 Maintenance

1.1 Conception et fonctionnement
Le pied prothétique Adjust 1M10 est conçu pour être utilisé avec des prothèses modulaires. Ce
pied prothétique se caractérise par une grande sécurité en position debout et pendant la marche.
Celle-ci est garantie par une articulation multiaxiale au niveau de la ligne de charge. Les caracté
ristiques du talon peuvent être réglées individuellement à l’aide d’un module fonctionnel.
1.2 Combinaisons possibles
Ce composant prothétique est compatible avec le système modulaire Ottobock. Le fonctionne
ment avec des composants d’autres fabricants disposant de connecteurs modulaires compatibles
n’a pas été testé.
2 Utilisation conforme
2.1 Usage prévu
Le produit est exclusivement destiné à l’appareillage prothétique des membres inférieurs.

2.4 Durée d’utilisation
Conformément à la norme ISO22675, le fabricant a contrôlé le produit en le soumettant à 2mil
lions de cycles de charge. Ceci correspond, en fonction du degré d’activité du patient, à une du
rée d’utilisation de 2 à 3ans.

5.1 Alignement
5.1.1 Pose / retrait de l’enveloppe de pied

1) Insérer le pied prothétique dans l’enveloppe de pied (voir ill.3, voir ill.4).
2) Appuyer sur le talon du pied prothétique jusqu’à enclenchement dans l’enveloppe de pied
(voir ill.5).

1) Pousser le dispositif d’arrêt de l’enveloppe de pied vers l’arrière et tirer le talon du pied pro
thétique vers le haut.
2) Retirer le pied prothétique de l’enveloppe de pied.
5.1.2 Alignement de base
Alignement de base TT
Déroulement de l’alignement de base
Matériel nécessaire: goniomètre 662M4, appareil de mesure de la hauteur du talon 743S12, gabarit50/50
743A80, appareil d’alignement (parex. L.A.S.A.R. Assembly 743L200 ou PROS.A. Assembly 743A200)
Procédez au montage et à l’orientation des composants prothétiques dans l’appareil d’alignement conformé
ment aux indications suivantes:
Plan sagittal
  Hauteur de talon: hauteur de talon effective (hauteur de talon de la chaussure – épaisseur de
semelle à l’avant-pied) +5mm
  Rotation externe du pied: env. 5°
  Décalage vers l’avant du milieu du pied prothétique par rapport à la ligne d’alignement: 30mm
  Reliez le pied prothétique et l’emboîture de la prothèse à l’aide de l’adaptateur choisi. Respectez
les instructions d’utilisation des adaptateurs.
  Déterminez le centre de l’emboîture à l’aide du gabarit 50/50. Positionnez l’emboîture de manière
centrale par rapport à la ligne d’alignement.
Flexion de l’emboîture: flexion du moignon individuelle +5°
Plan frontal
  Ligne d’alignement du pied prothétique: entre le gros orteil et le deuxième orteil
Ligne d’alignement de l’emboîture de prothèse: le long de l’arête latérale de la rotule
  Tenez compte de la position en abduction ou en adduction.
Alignement de base TF
►Respecter les indications figurant dans les instructions d’utilisation de l’articulation de genou
prothétique.
5.1.3 Alignement statique
• En cas de besoin, Ottobock vous fournira les recommandations d’alignement (prothèses de
jambe TF modulaires: 646F219*, prothèses de jambe TT modulaires: 646F336*).
• Ottobock recommande de contrôler l’alignement de la prothèse avec le L.A.S.A.R.Posture
et, si besoin, d’ajuster cet alignement.
5.1.4 Essai dynamique
• Ajustez l’alignement de la prothèse dans le plan frontal et le plan sagittal (p.ex. modification
de l’angle ou décalage) afin d’assurer un déroulement optimal du pas.
•Appareillages TT: veillez à un mouvement physiologique du genou dans les plans sagittal et
frontal lors du transfert du poids après la pose du talon. Évitez tout mouvement de
l’articulation de genou dans le sens médial. Si l’articulation de genou se déplace dans le sens
médial pendant la première moitié de la phase d’appui, procédez à la médialisation du pied
prothétique. Si le mouvement vers le sens médial a lieu pendant la deuxième moitié de la
phase d’appui, réduisez la rotation externe.
5.1.4.1 Optimisation des caractéristiques du talon
INFORMATION
La modification de configuration du module fonctionnel n’entraîne aucune modification de la
ligne de charge en position debout.

Les caractéristiques du talon sont réglées à l’aide du module fonctionnel. Les réglages suivants
sont possibles:

►Tourner le module fonctionnel dans la configuration souhaitée (voir ill.6).
5.2 En option: montage du revêtement en mousse
Un élément de raccordement (parex. une plaque de raccordement, un protège-connexion, une
plaque d’attache, une plaque d’attache en mousse) sert de liaison amovible entre le revêtement
en mousse et le pied prothétique.
>Matériaux requis: dégraissant (parex. alcool d’isopropyle 634A58), colle de contact 636N9
ou colle pour plastique 636W17
1) Mesurer l’écart entre le point de rotation du genou et l’extrémité souhaitée du revêtement en
mousse, puis ajouter la distance de compression: 10mm pour la mousse en polyéthylène,
30mm pour la mousse souple PUR. Pour les prothèses TF, ajouter deux fois la distance de
compression.
2) Découper la mousse.
3) Placer la mousse sur la prothèse.
4) Placer l’élément de raccordement sur l’enveloppe de pied ou sur le pied prothétique. En
fonction du modèle, l’élément de raccordement s’enclenche dans le bord ou est posé sur
l’adaptateur de pied.
5) Assembler le pied prothétique avec la prothèse.
6) Tracer le contour extérieur de l’élément de raccordement sur la surface de coupe distale de la
mousse.
7) Démonter le pied prothétique et retirer l’élément de raccordement.
8) Nettoyer l’élément de raccordement à l’aide d’un dégraissant.
9) Coller l’élément de raccordement sur la surface de coupe distale de la mousse en fonction du
tracé du contour extérieur.
10) Laisser la colle sécher (env. 10minutes).
11) Monter le pied prothétique et adapter le revêtement esthétique externe. Tenir compte de la
compression de la mousse exercée par des bas cosmétiques ou SuperSkin.
6 Maintenance
►Faites examiner (contrôle visuel et contrôle du fonctionnement) les composants prothétiques
après les 30 premiers jours d’utilisation.
►Contrôlez la présence de traces d’usure sur l’ensemble de la prothèse au cours d’une
consultation habituelle.
►Effectuez des contrôles de sécurité une fois par an.
7 Mise au rebut
Il est interdit d’éliminer le produit en tous lieux avec les ordures ménagères non triées. Une élimi
nation non conforme aux dispositions en vigueur dans le pays d’utilisation peut avoir des effets
néfastes sur l’environnement et la santé. Veuillez respecter les consignes des autorités compé
tentes du pays d’utilisation concernant les procédures de retour, de collecte et de recyclage des
déchets.

1.1 Costruzione e funzionamento
Il piede protesico 1M10 Adjust è indicato per l'impiego in protesi modulari. Il piede protesico si
distingue per l'elevato grado di sicurezza durante la deambulazione e in posizione eretta. Questo
viene garantito da un'articolazione multiassiale sulla linea di carico. È possibile regolare in base
al paziente la caratteristica del tallone con un modulo di funzione.
