Die Gebrauchsanweisung gibt Ihnen wichtige Informationen für das Anpas
sen und Anlegen der Lumbalorthesen Lumbo Sensa, 50R10 und Lumbo
Sensa Women 50R11.
2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
2.1 Verwendungszweck
Die Bandage ist ausschließlich zur orthetischen Versorgung des Rumpfs
einzusetzen und ausschließlich für den Kontakt mit intakter Haut bestimmt.
2.2 Indikationen
• Lendenwirbelsäulen-Syndrom
• Lumbal-Syndrom
• Lumbalgie
• Pseudoradikuläre Lumboischialgie
• Muskuläre Dysbalancen
• Degenerative Veränderungen im LWS-Bereich (z.B. Osteochondrose,
Spondylarthrose, Facettensyndrom)
• Reizung des Illiosacralgelenkes
Die Indikation wird vom Arzt gestellt.
2.3 Kontraindikationen
2.3.1 Absolute Kontraindikationen

2.3.2 Relative Kontraindikationen
Bei nachfolgenden Indikationen ist eine Rücksprache mit dem Arzt erforder
lich: Kontrakturen der Wirbelsäule, Eingeschränkte Fähigkeit zur Brustat
mung, Hauterkrankungen/-verletzungen, Entzündungen, aufgeworfene Nar
ben mit Schwellung, Rötung und Überwärmung im versorgten Körperab
schnitt, Tumoren, Lymphabfluss-Störungen – auch unklare Weichteilschwel
lungen körperfern des Hilfsmittels, Sensibilitätsstörungen im Bereich der
Beine.
2.4 Wirkungsweise
Die Orthese fördert die Sensomotorik und aktiviert die muskuläre Stabilisie
rung der Lendenwirbelsäule. Sie unterstützt die Schmerzlinderung und ent
lastet die Lendenwirbelsäule. Die propriozeptiv wirkende Pelotte stabilisiert
den lumbosacralen Übergang. Die Durchblutung wird verbessert, die Mus
kelfunktion gefördert und Muskelverspannungen abgebaut.
3 Sicherheit

4 Handhabung
INFORMATION
►Die tägliche Tragedauer und der Anwendungszeitraum werden in der
Regel vom Arzt festgelegt.
►Die erstmalige Anpassung und Anwendung des Produkts darf nur
durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.
►Weisen Sie den Patienten in die Handhabung und Pflege des Produkts
ein.
►Weisen Sie den Patienten darauf hin, dass er umgehend einen Arzt
aufsuchen soll, wenn er außergewöhnliche Veränderungen an sich
feststellt (z.B. Zunahme der Beschwerden).
4.1 Auswählen der Größe
1) Den Körperumfang ca. 2cm über dem Beckenkamm messen.
2) Die Bandagengröße ermitteln (siehe Größentabelle).
4.2 Anpassen und Anlegen

Zusätzlich zu der Orthese ist eine Pelotte erhältlich, die bei Bedarf als Ser
vice- Teil bestellt werden kann.
1) Optional - Einsetzen der Pelotte (siehe Abb.3): Die Pelotte mit Hilfe
des Klettverschlusses so an der Innenseite der Orthese befestigen, dass
sie beim Sitzen mind.1cm über der Sitzfläche platziert ist.
2) Anlegen (siehe Abb.1): Die Orthese um den Rumpf führen. Die Finger
in die Grifftaschen des Abdominalverschlusses legen. Die Orthese mit
gleicher Krafteinwirkung zur Vorderseite ziehen.
3) Kletten (siehe Abb.2): Den rechten Teil auf den linken Teil des Abdomi
nalverschlusses befestigen. Die Finger erst aus der linken und dann aus
der rechten Grifftasche ziehen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Klettflächen
gerade aufeinander liegen und nicht mit der Kleidung oder der Haut in
Kontakt sind.
4) Abschließende Kontrolle: Bei Abgabe an den Patienten sind die Pass
form und der korrekte Sitz der Orthese zu überprüfen. Die Orthese sitzt
korrekt, wenn der untere Orthesenrand bis knapp unter die Leiste reicht.
5) Patient einweisen: Dem Patienten das Anlegen der Orthese und das
Sicherstellen des korrekten Sitzes erläutern. Gemeinsam das An- und
Ablegen der Orthese üben.

5 Reinigung
HINWEIS
Verwendung falscher Reinigungsmittel
Beschädigung des Produktes durch falsche Reinigungsmittel
►Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit den zugelassenen Reinigungsmitteln.
Die Bandage regelmäßig reinigen:
1) Alle Klettverschlüsse schließen.
2) Empfehlung: Waschbeutel oder -netz verwenden.
3) Die Bandage in 30°C warmen Wasser mit einem handelsüblichen Fein
waschmittel waschen. Keinen Weichspüler verwenden. Gut ausspülen.
4) An der Luft trocknen lassen. Keine direkte Hitzeeinwirkung (z.B. Son
nenbestrahlung, Ofen- oder Heizkörperhitze).
6 Entsorgung
Das Produkt gemäß den geltenden nationalen Vorschriften entsorgen.
7 Rechtliche Hinweise
Alle rechtlichen Bedingungen unterliegen dem jeweiligen Landesrecht des
Verwenderlandes und können dementsprechend variieren.

These instructions for use provide important information on the fitting and
application of the 50R10 LumboSensa and 50R11 LumboSensaWomen
lumbar braces.
2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The support is intended exclusively for orthotic fittings of the trunk and
exclusively for contact with intact skin.
2.2 Indications
• Lumbar spine syndrome
• Lumbar syndrome
• Low back pain
• Pseudo-radicular sciatica
• Muscular imbalances
• Degenerative changes of the lumbar spine (e.g.osteochondrosis,
spondylarthrosis, facet jointsyndrome)
• Irritation of the iliosacral joint
Indications must be determined by the physician.
2.3 Contraindications
2.3.1 Absolute Contraindications
None known.
2.3.2 Relative Contraindications
Report to and discuss with the physician any of the following: contractures
of the spine, restricted chest breathing ability, skin diseases/injuries, inflam
mation, raised scars with swelling, reddening, and warming in the area
where the brace is fitted, tumors, lymphatic congestion – including unclear
swelling of soft tissue distal to the medical aid, and dysesthesia in the legs.
2.4 Mechanism of Action
The brace promotes sensorimotor function and activates muscular stabiliza
tion of the lumbar spine. It helps alleviate pain and relieves the lumbar spine.
The pad has a proprioceptive effect and stabilizes the lumbosacral transition.

Circulation is improved, muscle function is promoted and muscle tension
alleviated.
3 Safety

4 Handling
INFORMATION

►Instruct the patient in the handling and care of the product.

changes are noted (e.g. worsening of the complaint).
4.1 Selecting the Size
1) Measure the body circumference approximately 2cm above the iliac
crest.
2) Determine the size of the support (see size chart).
4.2 Fitting and Application

A pad is also available in addition to the brace and can be ordered as a ser
vice part if necessary.
1) Optional – installing the pad (see fig.3): use the hook-and-loop clo
sure to attach the pad to the inside of the brace so that it is at least1cm
above the seat surface when seated.
2) Applying (see fig.1): place the brace around the trunk. Place the fin
gers in the grip pockets of the abdominal closure. Apply equal force to
both sides to pull the brace forward.
3) Hook-and-loop material (see fig.2): attach the right part to the top of
the left part of the abdominal closure. Remove the fingers from the left
and then from the right grip pockets. Ensure that the hook-and-loop sec
tions are lying flat against each other and are not in contact with clothing
or skin.
4) Final check: the correct fit and proper positioning of the brace must be
checked during handover to the patient. The brace is positioned correct
ly when the lower edge of the brace extends just below the groin.
5) Instruct the patient: explain to the patient how to apply the brace and
ensure that it is positioned correctly. Practice applying and removing the
brace with the patient.
5 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
►Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
Clean the support regularly:
1) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
3) Wash the support in warm water at 30°C (86°F) with standard mild
detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g.sunshine, stove or
radiator).
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
7 Legal Information

2 Utilisation conforme

vantes: contractures de la colonne vertébrale, respiration thoracique limitée,

gonflement, rougeur et hyperthermie dans la région appareillée, tumeurs,
troubles de l’écoulement lymphatique, gonflements des parties molles dans
la partie distale de l’orthèse et troubles de la sensibilité dans la région des
jambes.
2.4 Effets thérapeutiques
L’orthèse favorise la coordination sensori-motrice et stimule la stabilisation
musculaire du rachis lombaire. Elle atténue les douleurs et soulage le rachis
lombaire. La pelote aux effets proprioceptifs stabilise la jonction lombo-sa
crée. La circulation sanguine est améliorée, la fonction musculaire favorisée
et les contractions musculaires diminuées.
3 Sécurité

4 Manipulation

4.1 Sélection de la taille
1) Mesurez la circonférence à env. 2cm au-dessus de la crête iliaque.

Une pelote complétant l’orthèse est également disponible, vous pouvez la
commander si besoin.
1) Mise en place de la pelote disponible en option (voir ill.3): fixez la
pelote à l’intérieur de l’orthèse en vous servant de la fermeture velcro de
telle sorte qu’elle soit placée au moins1cm au-dessus de la surface
d’assise lorsque le patient est assis.

2) Mise en place (voir ill.1): placez l’orthèse autour du tronc. Placez les
doigts dans les poches de la fermeture abdominale. Tirez l’orthèse vers
l’avant en appliquant une force égale des deux côtés.
3) Attacher l’orthèse (voir ill.2): fixez la partie droite sur la partie gauche
de la fermeture abdominale. Retirez les doigts d’abord de la poche
gauche, puis de celle de droite. Veillez à ce que les bandes reposent
exactement l’une sur l’autre et ne soient pas en contact avec les vête
ments ou la peau.
4) Contrôle final: vérifiez la forme ainsi que la bonne fixation de l'orthèse
au moment de remettre celle-ci au patient. L'orthèse est fixée correcte
ment lorsque son bord inférieur se trouve à quelques centimètres à
peine sous l'aine.
5) Initiation du patient: veuillez expliquer au patient comment bien procé
der à la mise en place et à la fixation de l'orthèse. Le patient doit
s’entraîner avec votre aide à mettre en place et à retirer l’orthèse.
5 Nettoyage
AVIS
Utilisation de détergents inadaptés
Dégradation du produit occasionnée par l’utilisation d’un détergent in
adapté
►Nettoyez le produit uniquement avec les détergents autorisés.
Nettoyez l’orthèse régulièrement:
1) Fermez toutes les fermetures velcro.
2) Recommandation: utilisez un sac ou un filet de lavage.
3) Lavez l’orthèse à 30°C avec une lessive pour linge délicat disponible
dans le commerce. N’utilisez pas d’assouplissant. Rincez bien.
4) Laissez sécher à l’air. Évitez toute exposition directe à la chaleur (parex.
les rayons du soleil et la chaleur des poêles et des radiateurs).
6 Mise au rebut
Éliminez le produit conformément aux prescriptions nationales en vigueur.
7 Informations légales
Toutes les conditions légales sont soumises à la législation nationale du
pays d’utilisation concerné et peuvent donc présenter des variations en
conséquence.

La fascia è indicata esclusivamente per il trattamento ortesico del tronco e
deve essere applicata unicamente sulla pelle intatta.

2.3.2 Controindicazioni relative
Nei seguenti casi si rende necessaria la consultazione del medico: contrattu
re della colonna vertebrale, capacità di respirazione toracica limitata, lesioni
o patologie cutanee, infiammazioni, cicatrici protruse con rigonfiamenti, ar
rossamenti e surriscaldamenti della parte trattata, tumori, disturbi della cir
colazione linfatica - anche gonfiori delle parti molli di natura sconosciuta in
distretti lontani dall'ortesi, disturbi della sensibilità a carico degli arti inferio
ri.
2.4 Azione terapeutica
L'ortesi favorisce le funzioni sensomotorie e attiva la stabilizzazione muscola
re del rachide lombare. Contribuisce ad alleviare il dolore e scarica il rachi
de lombare. La pelotta dagli effetti propriocettivi stabilizza la colonna lombo
sacrale. La circolazione sanguigna viene migliorata, la funzione muscolare
incrementata e la tensione muscolare ridotta.
3 Sicurezza

4 Utilizzo
INFORMAZIONE
►È il medico a stabilire generalmente il tempo di impiego giornaliero e la
durata di utilizzo.
►La prima applicazione del prodotto e il relativo adattamento al corpo
del paziente devono essere eseguiti esclusivamente da personale spe
cializzato.
►Istruire il paziente circa l'uso e la cura corretti del prodotto.
►Il paziente deve essere informato della necessità di recarsi immediata
mente da un medico nel caso in cui notasse cambiamenti inusuali
(p.es. aumento dei disturbi).
4.1 Scelta della misura
1) Misurare la circonferenza del corpo circa 2cm sopra la cresta illiaca.
2) Determinare la misura della fascia (vedere tabella misure).
4.2 Adattamento e applicazione

Un'applicazione errata o troppo stretta del prodotto può comportare la
comparsa di punti di pressione localizzati e la compressione di vasi sangui
gni e nervi
►Accertarsi che il prodotto sia stato applicato e rimanga posizionato in
modo corretto.

Utilizzo di un prodotto usurato o danneggiato
Azione limitata
►Verificare la funzionalità, l'usura e l'eventuale danneggiamento del pro
dotto prima di ogni utilizzo.
►Non utilizzare più un prodotto non funzionante, usurato o danneggiato.

Adattamento o applicazione inadeguati
Danni al prodotto dovuti a sovraccarico del materiale e posizionamento er
rato del prodotto dovuto a rottura di parti portanti
►Il prodotto può essere adeguato solamente dal personale tecnico.
►Non eseguire alcuna modifica non appropriata del prodotto.
►Utilizzare sempre il prodotto conformemente a quanto indicato nelle
istruzioni.
È possibile aggiungere una pelotta all'ortesi che, all'occorrenza, può essere
ordinata separatamente.
1) Opzionale - Applicazione della pelotta (v. fig.3): tramite la chiusura
a velcro fissare la pelotta sul lato interno dell'ortesi di modo che, da se
duti, si trovi ad almeno 1cm dalla superficie di seduta.
2) Applicazione (v. fig.1): applicare l'ortesi avvolgendola intorno al tron
co. Inserire le dita nelle tasche della chiusura addominale. Tirare l'ortesi
sul davanti esercitando una forza omogenea da ambo i lati.
3) Chiusura a velcro (v. fig.2): fissare la parte destra della chiusura addo
minale sulla parte sinistra. Estraete dapprima le dita dalla tasca sinistra e
poi da quella destra. Verificare che le superfici a velcro siano ben so
vrapposte e che non siano a contatto con la pelle o con i vestiti.
